From a man's perspective, you have to respect the hustle; the staff is well educated and very good at their jobs (which of course is selling make up) they know their products like the back of their hands and can pretty quickly identify your skin type and tone and recommend something. Every time I walk in here, the staff is on their game and on this occasion, we happen to get the store manager who helped us for 15 minutes and didn't mention to the fact that she was the store manager until one of the employees came up and ask her for permission to go on break. not many products for men and I'm sure a lot of us hate the name but you gotta respect their game. They're really good at what they do!!! we happen to be visiting from Houston, but this review applies to every location I've ever been in.

I tried to scan the QR code to leave a review and enter for a chance to win a gift card, but the QR code was invalid. However, I really wanted to highlight the associate who helped me, her name is Maddie. Maddie was knowledgeable about all things makeup, very friendly, and honest in a way that wasn’t brutal. Her honesty was truly refreshing; she wasn’t just trying to sell products. She genuinely made my concerns her own and escorted me around the store until we found the perfect foundation that matched my skin tone and didn’t feel heavy. Thanks to her guidance, I broke free from the shackles of powdered foundation and expanded my horizons. As someone with oily skin, I was skeptical about trying liquid foundation, but Maddie’s confidence and expertise convinced me to give it a try. I am absolutely in love with the liquid foundation she helped me find; it’s the perfect match and doesn’t feel heavy at all. Honestly, shopping with Maddie felt like shopping with a friend! This took place on 7/4/25

I went to Sephora to do my makeup for a wedding I was attending. I made an appointment with Monica Murillo. It was my first time in this location as I was visiting this state for this wedding destination. She was truly amazing. She took the time to check what type of makeup will look the best on me. Offer suggestions on which colors will look better with the outfit. I was extremely impressed. My makeup was beautifully made. Everyone that I met at the party had to say something about the makeup. I definitely recommend her if you have any beauty makeup needs. She is the best! Thank you for making me feel welcome and for providing outstanding customer service and care. I recommend her 💯 percent!

Pierre at the Woodland Hills Mall location was amazing!!! I needed new makeup and he went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful! I’m 41 and couldn’t find anything that didn’t cake up on my skin. He did a thorough consultation to get me exactly what I needed!!! Pierre is very knowledgeable when it comes to skin care, cosmetics, fragrance, and much more!!! Go see him!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of shopping for new makeup at Sephora and I have to highlight the exceptional service provided by one of their team members. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine enthusiasm by Pierre , whose kindness and expertise truly enhanced my shopping experience. Pierre went above and beyond to assist me in finding the perfect products. Not only did he listen attentively to my needs and preferences, but he also offered insightful recommendations tailored to my skin type and personal style. His knowledge of the latest trends and products was impressive, and his suggestions were spot-on. My experience at Sephora was exceptional, thanks in large part to Pierre's outstanding service. The photo below will show you the products he helped me pick out. Again I can not express how much gratitude I must give to Pierre for truly making my experience so wonderful today.

Will never step foot back in Sephora because of a person named Sam that checked my grand daughter and I out today. We had stood in line with another customer in front of me for quite awhile before she finally decided to come check us out. Upon finishing the lady in front of me she told my grand daughter and I we were not in line. I replied yes we are and to ask the lady she just checked out if we had not been next. She then proceeded to make a scene and argue with me. I asked her to please stop , to just stop , she replied with someone is having a bad day. No one was having a bad day until she decided to berate me in front of other customers. My husband and I have been in business here in Tulsa for over 50 years. I have never been spoke to or had someone in a check out to try to start an argument with me ever. Had she worked at our place of business and spoke to any of our customers like that she would have been fired on the spot. Do better Sephora.

Unfortunately people working at this Sephora are always somewhat rude, never had such an unpleasant experience at the other Sephora inside Kohl's. Tried to go here 3 times and the atmosphere is repellent and hostile, it seems like you are always bugging/annoying the front people and they have something better to do and you are getting in their way. I would never come back to Sephora if my only experience was at this store.

Yelp
So, I've never been in a Sephora store until recently when a friend of mine took me and boy am I glad that I went. The store is similar to Ulta but somehow the feel of Sephora is friendlier and more personable. Walking into the store you can see that they have similar products available for purchase--hair, makeup, skin care--but the employees here seemed friendlier and happier which made me want to spend more time looking around. Since I have never been to Sephora before my friend suggested we both get free makeovers and that was so much fun!! Even the makeover experience was better then the one I've had in the past at Ulta. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything and the lady took her time to talk to me and that made the experience of getting a makeover so much more fun. I ended up leaving with some eye cream and signing up for a rewards card that scores me points for my purchases and snags me some pretty cool gifts during my birthday. I will definitely be switching my beauty shopping to Sephora from here on out. Huge shout out to my friend Michelle for hooking a girl up and changing her life, lol!

Yelp
Nice store. Professional. Good selection. Helpful. Offer to make samples in fragrance for you to try!

Yelp
Fashionable high end cosmetics for the lovely lady in your life. Though they also sell assorted things for gentlemen. I spotted a few rather spendy perfumes and colognes - do you really want to spend upwards of $50 to smell nice? I guess people do. We did manage to pick up exactly what the Mrs was looking for. She's a huge fan of Sephora and this one had a few lines that were not available in the one closer to home.

Yelp
I love Sephora, but I love them even more when they have a good sale! Some of the items are extremely pricey, so when they have good deals you better jump on it. I love their "mystery grab bag" event online. You get a free bag full of 5 or more deluxe sized samples with any order online. Sometimes the deluxe sized samples end up being full size items, so it's hit or miss but free samples are always fun. This store can be a little crowded on the weekends and during holidays, it's mainly due to the layout. They purposely put several racks in a pattern that makes it impossible to leave the store. Fun to look around it, but if you're going in for something specific you might get trapped. I recently found out where the clearance section is (turn right inside the doors and it's along the end caps facing the fragrances. I say that b/c I didn't notice if it was men's or women's on that side) so that helped on my last trip. If you haven't tried any of Sephora's nail stickers, you need to. Some of them are basically extra sticky nail stickers (the ones by Minx), but most of them are made of real nail polish that can be removed really easily. They have a ton of cute designs to suit anyone's style, and they can be applied in just a few minutes without any drying time. The staff here is really hit or miss. They're either in your face wanting to help you find things to buy, or they ignore you. The management is nice, but sometimes the cashier staff has attitude. Oh well, like I said it's hit or miss. That is honestly why I like buying my Sephora goodies online if I know what color, etc. that I'm looking for. Sometimes I just don't want to mess with the mall crowd.

Yelp
I'm absolutely mystified that I've never reviewed Sephora, one of my favorite stores in the whole world! How is that possible? I've been shopping online at Sephora for years. And whenever I would go out of town I'd see if the city I was visiting had a Sephora and eagerly make a pilgrimage. So when Tulsa got one, I was of course over the moon! Finally I could browse whenever I wanted to. Online ordering is great but it's really hard to tell makeup colors when looking on the web. Sephora is a go to beauty destination for new products and old classics. Hair, skin, nails, perfume, make up...it's better than a candy store for me! My husband calls it my Mr. Bulky's. The helpful associates will make you up a sample of just about anything your heart desires, and Beauty Insiders earn reward points toward deluxe samples and get a free birthday gift. The store also has periodic special events and offers makeovers. High level Beauty Insiders get first crack at brand new products. All in all, if you're a product junkie Sephora is the place to be.

Yelp
I shop and spend money at Sephora quite a bit. I am a VIB member and I went to get my usual tarte water foundation. The main Sephora was out of my shade and I planned to go to the one in JCPenneys to see if they had it there but I was going to browse around in the main one because it's bigger and has more product. These ladies were on my back the moment I walk through that door. There always behind you and seeing if you're stealing something, I don't need to steal I'm obviously very loyal customer. When I went to the JCPenney's Sephora the lady was super nice and I had a +50 point code that wouldn't Go through so she called the mainline and ask them if I could bring in my receipt after I left and have them add it to my Sephora account so I can get those +50 point. But of course they said they couldn't do that, The sales lady in the JCPenney Sephora Got off the phone with them and said she was so sorry she knows that they can do that but told her that they couldn't do it. I told her that was fine and after I left I called Sephora's 1-800 number and the nice women over the phone gave me my points AND doubled them for my trouble. This store is ridiculous, those ladies need to get their noses out of the air because they are acting like they are some big shot. I order online from now on because of how UNPLEASANT this store is. ***NO STARS***

Yelp
I love Sephora it's where I pretty much buy all my makeup, I'm a VIB member and spend allot when I come, Today I came in 8/12/17 because I specifically looking for the Tatcha set online it said it was available in store, and I wanted it now so I decided to pick it up in the store instead of waiting for it to be delivered, when I walked in I was greeted by a young later I proceeded to walk to the back of the store where the facial creams are as I was walking a noticed an older woman watching me, I was talking on the phone while I was in the store, when I got to the area I needed she ran up on me and was like you need me to get something for you, she basically ran up on me like I was going to steal something, it was just plain rude I hung the phone up and told her no I could find it myself I proceeded to look for what I needed unfortunately they only had one of the items, the woman proceeded to watch me, it was just rude so I left, I ended up ordering what I needed online now I just have to wait, worst customer service I have encountered. Will not be back to this location, super unfortunate.

Yelp
I like this place but it is my second choice next to ulta bc they don't carry as many brands as ulta and their rewards system sucks in my opinion bc it's useless unless you spend hundreds there where with ulta the points can be redeemed for cash value toward purchases pretty quickly. I feel the girls that work there look down on some of the shoppers that come in while others are very helpful. The makeup artists will do your makeup before you buy anything to see if you like it which is good. Just keep in mind, the lighting on the store is manipulated so you look better than you actually do once you step outside into the sunlight.

Yelp
Sephora as a company is obviously good (maybe not ethically but the products are) but I hate going to the store. I only go to the store to get samples and return stuff, I do all of my shopping online. Their lighting is god awful so you won't know for sure if a foundation suits you until you try it at home. And the workers there can be so rude. I've had some nice ones but most of the time I'm treated like I'm stupid and trash. I feel looked down on and I hate that.

Yelp
I've been shopping at sephora for years both online and brick and mortar. The experience at this one was by far the best one I have ever had. Super charming and helpful staff that really worked as a team to find what worked for me.

Yelp
I used to dislike visiting this store, because the workers often make you feel unwelcome, but ever since our friend, Damon started working here, it has really been a great store to stop in. He always makes us feel like family, and he is always super knowledgeable about the products and current sales. Next time you stop in, ask for Damon, and you are in good hands!

Yelp
The employees in this store are rude and nasty! I watched a employee do someone's makeup and turn around and use the same exact makeup on someone else minutes later! I will be letting someone higher up know.

Yelp
I LOVE Sephora--even more so now that I have moved to Tulsa and it's one of the few places where I can get the makeup brands I love. I try to shop at this store whenever I want to buy something so that the store gets the sale. Unfortunately, the last few times I've been in, they have been completely out of whatever I have wanted. This is not a one-time thing, and even when I have checked back with the store a couple weeks later, they still don't have it. And these are items that are fully available on the Sephora website. The salespeople are very nice and always offer to order whatever they are missing for me. The thing is that I get free shipping for ordering online plus a ton of samples that I wouldn't otherwise get from shopping through the store. Another option is for me to order from Neiman's, where I get free shipping and don't have to pay tax. I really have zero incentive to go through the hassle of ordering through the store. I have read that Sephora's restocking priority makes it so they restock JCP Sephoras first, then online, then the stores. I actually believe it because every time this store's been out of something, I go to the JC Penney's a few doors down and if they carry that brand, they have it.

Yelp
I've been to many Sephora locations, including some of them inside JC Penney stores, but those are never nearly as nice or full-service as the larger sized mall stores. This is a nice one, rivaling my favorite in Rogers, Arkansas. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, but also willing to let those of us who know what we're looking for "have at it". My visit was at the onset of the holiday season and shelves were packed. Very festive environment in this store!
