I'm not one for Americana roadhouses but we were in the area and we were hungry, and I liked the variety on their menu, so we came in. I'm glad I did, because it was a great experience!
The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, so we had our choice of seating. The waitress was friendly and helpful with her suggestions on pairings, and was clearly knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was the highlight of the experience. I ended up ordering one of the lunch specials — two sliders with crisscross Cajun fries — which came out on juicy double patties layered with gooey cheese. My sibling ordered their famous Bang Bang Chicken, which was so fun to eat: tender, flavorful, and dare I say, bouncy. I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone, because I would've missed this place otherwise.
