My wife and I kept seeing this spot as we were going in and out of Sequoia National Park, but it was either too early, or too late, but we finally made it on our way out of Three Rivers at the end of our trip!!
The Coffee Shop has a nice gift area with Sequoia and Kings Canyon gear, many items we never saw at the park gift shops. The menu had a good selection of items, but we were on the run to the airport so kept it small and sweet--I ordered a Large Iced Latte with Vanilla and a blueberry scone. The "Large" is a decent size, the latte was creamy, and it had a flavoring I guess i didn't expect. The drink was very "cinnamon-" or even "lavender-" like, like it almost had a spice to it. I wasn't sure if this was a mistake made on my drink or if this is what Coffee Co.'s "vanilla" tastes like. Anyway, I enjoyed it, but the flavor threw me off.
The blueberry scone wasn't anything special--not sure if they had a "warming" capability like some other shops do, but it probably would've been tastier had it been warm. Otherwise, it was a good pastry. If we ever come back we'll definitely come back and try their breakfast sandwiches or other options.
Service-wise the employee taking orders unfortunately didn't seem to be in a friendly mood this morning. Would definitely come back if we're in the area to give some other items a try!
