Sequoia Lodge - Exclusive Adults Luxury Retreat

I asked ChatGPT to recommend a truly special hotel for Australian winter with a hot spring experience :) and it led me to Sequoia. Honestly, the experience we had was even more beautiful than the photos we saw beforehand. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of a kind, friendly community. Our journey began with the mixology class, followed by a rejuvenating treatment at Gatekeeper Spa, and then a relaxing soak in the artesian hot springs. In the evening, we dined at Hardy’s Verandah a beautiful food experience to wrap up the day. The next morning, we woke up to the breathtaking views of the Adelaide Hills. After a peaceful yoga session and a delicious breakfast, we went for a morning bushwalk the perfect way to end an unforgettable stay. Sequoia is truly a place where luxury, nature, and heartfelt hospitality come together beautifully. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband spent 5 nights at Sequoia Lodge. |Everything was perfect! The rooms were breathtaking with the most beautiful views of the sunset. |The staff were all very friendly and attentive.|The breakfast was great, lovely to have the option of delivering to our room. The Earl grey tea was delicious! They were so kind to give me a bag to take home.|Very peaceful setting with stunning views.|We enjoyed the nature walks, lazing round the pool, wine tasting and the tranquility. We even got to see Charlie the Koala up in the tree by the staff car park - which was very special.

This place is serene. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Sequoia and did not want to leave. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with extraordinary views. It was so quiet, which is what we were after. The staff were amazing and the food was great. We also enjoyed many of the activities on offer at the lodge. We would love to come back soon.

My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Mt Lofty on our trips to Adelaide and this year we decided to include a stay at the amazing Sequoia for a few days to celebrate her birthday. Despite the drizzly weather over Easter we had a warm welcome and a most relaxing stay in our suite. It was definitely an experience as special as we had wished. Staff were really helpful prior and during our stay by arranging beautiful roses and balloons for my wife, a lovely handwritten card and managing to get us into the restaurant and day spa at short notice despite the many public holidays at the time. The views, breaky and service in the Main Lounge were exceptional and the Lodge grounds lovely to soak in. Thank you for all the surprise sweet treats during our stay as well! We look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

Our stay at Sequoia was just the most exquisite experience my wife and I have ever had. It is advertise as a top end luxury resort and it fulfill every promesses and then some. The attention to details, not only in the facilities but also in every aspect of service and staff interaction was impeccable. There is nothing I could fault them on. This is an absolutely amazing place to stay, to be and to experience.|I have not stopped raving about it to everyone i know. 100% satisfaction.|Once again thank you to all the staff there for making every effort to make our stay unforgettable.

This is a beautiful property in a gorgeous part of the world. We were very taken with the Adelaide Hills area and really enjoyed our three days staying here.|The suite is very comfortable with a lovely outlook over the valley. Our view was partly obscured by large trees which did deprive us of the sunrise view. The hotel was full when we checked in, I am sure they would have moved us once another room became available but once we were settled we were happy where we were. The views from the main lodge were stunning and the outdoor pools were absolutely delightful.|We really enjoyed the guided walk down to the wildlife park. Independently we walked around the Mount Lofty Botanical gardens which are five minutes from the door.|All the young staff were friendly and helpful and we would happily return for another stay.

Sequoia is set in a tranquil and picturesque location. From the mixology class to the Artesian hot springs this place is an ideal location for couples wanting a get away. The view from our room was truly amazing and the food in sequoia lodge was delicious. The heated bathroom floor was well received with the colder weather. Would definitely stay again
