Quiet luxury and the perfect place to slow down and enjoy yourself. Amazing food, great staff and close to Cleland Wildlife Park, the Botanical Gardens and some amazing wineries. Day trips are easily accessible from Sequoia. Beautiful paintings add a richness to the decor of the room. Very comfortable layout and amenities. Our travel advisor and his in-country point of contact picked this lodge and we couldn't have been happier with every aspect. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sequoia as part of our Australia honeymoon and completely fell in love with the property. The lodge is stunning, and it’s easy to see why it’s so highly regarded. The service was exceptional - attentive, warm, and welcoming - and every detail was thoughtfully considered.||The food was a highlight: our first night at Sequoia Lodge was fantastic, and dinner at Hardy’s Verandah was a real treat. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches. We also loved the hot spring pools!||A perfect option for anyone considering visiting the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special. Our room had a fabulous view through floor to ceiling plate glass windows. Loved the privacy window between the bathroom and bedroom that you could change from see through to opaque. Also had fun with the blackout shutters and other electronic devices in our room. |We really enjoyed the included activities such as cocktail making session, cheese tasting and guided bush walk. |The attention to detail was outstanding including the pre planning of a booked activities and restaurants so that we could fit everything in. |The staff were wonderful - especially Elise|Loved loved loved highly recommend the splurge

The experience from the moment we stepped out of the car was exceptional. The team made you feel incredibly welcome, being warm and friendly. The food by chef Nick was devine including the preparation of fresh Coffin Bay oysters. The sequoia sparkling is absolutely delicious and time taken out to relax and both the hot pools, sauna, the morning yoga class and the bushwalking was absolutely wonderful. We felt incredibly refreshed after our stay and would highly recommend sequoia to anyone looking for time out of their busy schedule and will definitely be back.

I asked ChatGPT to recommend a truly special hotel for Australian winter with a hot spring experience :) and it led me to Sequoia. Honestly, the experience we had was even more beautiful than the photos we saw beforehand. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of a kind, friendly community. Our journey began with the mixology class, followed by a rejuvenating treatment at Gatekeeper Spa, and then a relaxing soak in the artesian hot springs. In the evening, we dined at Hardy’s Verandah a beautiful food experience to wrap up the day. The next morning, we woke up to the breathtaking views of the Adelaide Hills. After a peaceful yoga session and a delicious breakfast, we went for a morning bushwalk the perfect way to end an unforgettable stay. Sequoia is truly a place where luxury, nature, and heartfelt hospitality come together beautifully. Highly recommended.

The lodge location was superb with views of Adelaide Hills. The room had full view of the valley facing east, providing wonderful sun's glow and warmth into the room, perfect for morning tea during cool months.|The bathroom was exquisitely designed making morning and evening baths comfortable leaving you fresh and relaxed.|The complex was quiet; breakfast excellent with great choices followed by aroma filled coffee.

You can see why this venue has won so many awards! The beauty is astounding. Well kept rooms that are regularly maintained, a great selection of activities for all ages, the hot spring pools are wonderful on the cold days, and the service is beyond phenomenonal. Lauren went above and beyond for our entire stay and we could not fault the entire experience. We cannot wait to return!
