An amazing place to connect with nature. Sequoia National Park is a breathtaking destination. The scenery is stunning and the giant trees make you feel so small in the best way. The fresh air, well-marked trails, and peaceful atmosphere create a truly unique experience. Perfect for easy hikes or simply enjoying the quiet among the sequoias. Highly recommended for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

The Park is full of Tall Trees cold river waters and greenery vegetation which make the temperatures stay cooler. The sunset shining through the trees and accross the waters is magnificent. Being a public place in the wilderness, the restrooms are fairly kept. The Restaurants try to serve hot fresh tasting food. Lots of free parking.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Memorial Day at Sequoia National Park I had an amazing experience at Sequoia National Park over Memorial Day weekend. The natural beauty of the park is absolutely breathtaking — from the giant sequoia trees to the peaceful trails, every corner is a reminder of nature’s power and grace. What truly stood out to me, beyond the scenery, was how clean and well-maintained the entire park was. It's clear that the park staff and management put in a lot of effort to keep everything in excellent condition, and I’m really grateful for their hard work. We arrived around 10 AM and waited just a few minutes in a long entrance line to purchase our tickets. Once inside, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The park shuttles made it incredibly easy to get around and see all the main attractions without any hassle. We had a fantastic time exploring and soaking in the experience. I highly recommend including Sequoia National Park in your travel plans — it’s a truly exciting and memorable destination that you won't regret visiting.

Beautiful, stunning, amazing …. General Sherman Tree is a must visit Take your time as it takes 1 hour from the gate to drive up and the same to come back. You need to calculate with at least 3-4 hours from the gate. The upper part is an active bear area, so be cautious with food up there ‼️ And of April you might still ha e snow: drive carefully!

Interesting park with giant trees and views above the clouds. I was there in first week of April, so there was a lot of snow up in the mountains and some roads were closed. I enjoyed a walk to the Sherman tree. When I arrived to Grant tree it was almost dark, but still interesting to walk at night time. On the way between Sherman and Grant I had several stops to enjoy the view of sunset above the clouds that were under me.

This is an awesome park. We were there on a weekend in early June. The park was crowded and it was difficult to find parking at some of the stops. I would recommend taking the free bus they offer so they can drop you off right by the different locations. Plan to spend the entire day.

We visited Sequoia National Park over the weekend and it was an unforgettable experience. The tall sequoia trees were absolutely breathtaking. Being surrounded by those giants made us feel calm and amazed at the same time. We did some of the most recommended hikes - Big Trees Trail, Congress Trail, and Sherman Tree Trail. All of them were well-maintained, easy to follow, and full of beautiful views. Congress Trail, in particular, felt really magical with clusters of massive trees everywhere. We also explored Bear Hill Trail, which wasn’t on the ranger’s recommended trail list, but it turned out to be one of our favorites. It was quiet, scenic, and felt very peaceful with hardly anyone around. Parking was probably the most frustrating part. It was very crowded, and it took us a while to find a spot. There were also long lines for the free shuttle buses, which added to the wait. Once we got past that and started hiking, things were much better. The trails were calm, and we were able to enjoy the nature without too many people around us. There’s no internet or phone signal inside the park, so the map they give at the entrance was super helpful for finding our way. Also, we noticed that the stores didn’t accept cards, so carrying cash is a good idea if you’re planning to get souvenirs or snacks. If you’re planning a visit, I’d suggest going on a weekday if possible. It would be a lot less crowded and more relaxing. Overall, we really loved our time there. It’s a beautiful place to slow down, explore, and just take in the beauty of nature.

It is a beautiful park. Well worth the drive. Very clean throughout, and the restrooms are not outhouse style but have plumbing. We saw some dear that would walk along the road and some bears that were a little far off. The Sherman Tree hike is beautiful, but be prepared to hike back up. If you're not much of a hiker, keep hiking down past the Sherman Tree area to the handicap parking. There are shuttles that will take you back up to the parking lot up the hill. But if you enjoy hikes, I would suggest making the hike back up. I wish we had had more time to spend at the park. You can easily spend a week there since the park is so big and it connects to Kings Canyon.
