Sequoia Riverfront Cabins

My family had a quick overnight stay here, it's a great location, close to restaurants, the national park entrance, and of course the river running through the backyard. We checked in late, and the place was easy enough to find without any internet in the dark. Our cabin, number 6, was quite large, with a beautiful patio, and amazing view of the river and mountain. I wasn't expecting the bedrooms to be on separate floors. My children are too young to sleep alone upstairs, but we had plenty of space to bring a mattress downstairs for them to sleep on. Gary and Milo, the adorable husky, were great hosts. The best part the cabins was definitely the Milo kisses.

We stayed here with our family in July for a trip to the Sequoia National Park. First, the price of the rental does not match the condition of the property. Yes, the property is on the river which was beautiful and a nice touch however the safety of this property is a concern. To begin, the decking was falling through and unsafe to walk. Second, the upstairs attic space with bunkbeds is a major safety concern especially if you have children staying in this area. The railing at the top is completely loose and you will fall if you lean against it and it is a long way down from the top to the floor. The place did have spiders and overall we did not feel that the value of the property matched the amount we paid. I would go across the street to the hotel before staying here again if safety and cleanliness is a factor for you.

This was mine and my fiancé's first time being in the three rivers area, we came down to celebrate our anniversary (without our kids). While the room was not what we were expecting, I will not dock points because the room didn't have any effect on our stay in the slightest. The host was fantastic and Milo the husky was such absolute beauty and so sweet. The scenery was beautiful and we had a good time and that's what really mattered to us, we didn't need anything fancy, just something for us to relax for 4 nights. We had a GREAT experience! We stayed in the 2 bedroom + loft. There was a slow moving river in our huge backyard, ample space, fire pit, roomy cabin provided the perfect get away for our 4 person- girlfriend trip. We were close to the Sequoia Natalie Park, a market, restaurants and coffee shops, but far enough away that we were secluded and peaceful. No neighbors nearby! I highly recommend booking here.

This place has potential of being great , there are major changes that definitely need to be addressed. I would give the location a 5 star because of how close it is to sequoia national park and the beautiful river in the back . The overall room wasn’t very nice, it was very outdated which isn’t a big problem. The problem was the mildew/mold that was found on the shower curtain and the shower not being cleaned well . I also found hair on my bed sheets from previous people that stayed before me. The window was cracked and the heating and cooling systems of the room were very outdated. At night it was very hard to sleep because of noise coming from inside the walls, possibly some type of small rodents. I honestly believe if there was major renovations for the rooms and the whole property it would be a popular place to stay at possibly the best in 3 rivers. It’s not a terrible place just needs more work being put into it :)

We had the best time here! We've been coming to Three Rivers for 20 years, but never stayed here. We can't believe how we missed this place in the past. Anywho, Gary, Timmy, Scott and of course Milo were amazing!!!!! We had such a great time hanging out with them and listening to their stories. I loved howling with Milo!!! There was great access to the river and the rooms were so cute! We stayed in cabin 10 and 7. We changed cabins because we decided to stay 2 extra days and 10 was already booked, but no biggie. This place is super accommodating and really friendly. My boyfriend and I are already having withdrawals from the river, and our new favorite spot. We're already planning our next trip there. We arrived late night and were welcomed by name from the host and his husky Milo! Amazing service and sweetest dog! Definitely would recommend staying here, the location and service were top notch!

When we arrived at the cabin (#10) by the road we had to use flashlights to get the lights on inside, the dimmer switch knob was missing with just a post for controls. The cabin was hot with window air conditioning units which we turned on after our arrival. The room with the bunk beds had a window unit but the spiders had claimed the controls. There were no screens on the windows or they were ripped so opening windows to get a breeze was out. The ladder to the bunk bed room was not that safe and unless you had someone over six feet tall you couldn't open the hatch. The entire cabin was lacking in cleanliness. The power went out 30 minutes after our arrival, we were told that the power was out everywhere. We were able to see lights down the road so we left and wound up driving to through the night to our next destination. Complaints were given to the manager who said he would forward them to the owners but the were unanswered.
