Serena Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel is beautiful, pretty rustic feel from the old Swahili days. Food tastes amazing. It's a bit far from SGR or the airport but that's because the road is being constructed. The staff are extremely friendly. Absolutely loved my stay here

The Serena Beach resort was beautiful and relaxing! Everything we need was right there. Delicious food, friendly service and luxury accommodations! We suggest getting a massage at the spa and checking out the turtle and butterfly conservation projects at the resort. We really loved Maurice who gave us the butterfly tour and Duncan who helped us throughout our stay (and even remembered our names). You will not be disappointed with this resort! The reason I gave only 4 stars for location is because of all the boats on the beach harassing people to purchase trips. They are not party of the resort and can be pushy.

Wow! After a week in a remote village doing medical mission work we were blessed to stay a few days at this spectacular resort. Grounds beautiful. Staff so nice and accommodating. Food top notch. Spa, camel rides, scuba diving. I'll be back

An expirence of a lifetime, All the staffs are so kind and always there incase of anything. One of the best waiters was Jason. He made the stay at the Serena Beach Resort unforgettable. The bar and kareoke nights were a highlight of my stay here. I absoloutly loved my 5days at this wonderful hotel. Amazing surroundings, right on beachfront, lovely accommodation, and great food, but the most outstanding thing about this accommodation is the staff. Without fail every person you interact with will give you a warm welcome, make you feel you matter and provide the best service. Indeed every Kenyan we've met in the last two weeks (on safari and here) has been warm, welcoming and determined to make our holiday one to remember- thank you all.

Fantastic service! Amazing customer service - Hanifa is a gem (at the reception), Albert has been taking good care of us with the bottomless drinks and ice creams (for some). Truly felt like home in this Kasongo times 😂

My most favourite hotel! Everything about it is just perfect. We were married here 20 years ago and it was magical to return. What a special touch to receive a bouquet to reenact our wedding picture!!
