We stayed for 3 nights and left feeling happy with the hotel. Staff were friendly, and the location was good (short walk to a beach). Food was good, and the room was comfortable (2 story duplex, with a double bed upstairs and smoother downstairs).

Hotel is in a nice location however the whole place is very much in need of a face lift - particular the rooms. Bedrooms were tired, furniture was old and needed replacing, windows didnt close properly, cracks in the walls, patio doors didnt lock, bathrooms had cracked tiles in the shower and old bathroom furniture which was past its best.||Pool - small pool had scum in the water every day. Furniture around the pool old and uncomfortable needs replacing. ||With a face lift and a good tidy up this hotel could be really lovely again. So if you are looking to stay in a shabby chic hotel close to the beach this is the place for you.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel, booked and chosen by our travel agency and was the last leg of our trip, travelling from Rio. |It’s graded a 4 star … no idea how it could achieve this rating, being generous, it deserved no more than 3 stars at most. |The room we had was next to a road, so had the usual traffic but there was also a construction site that would give us an early morning wake up call. |The room we had was extremely ‘rustic’, the walls in the bathroom were a rough skim of plaster and left unpainted. The shower and sink are extremely basic. After the room was cleaned, I noticed dust and debris on the floors from 2 days ago. I had to ask repeatedly for fresh towels as they would take the used ones and not replace them. The air conditioning unit looked like it had seen better days and the fridge was disgusting. I would not have put food in there! |The “fitness centre” they boast about on the website was about 12 x 12 feet and consisted of 1 running machine and one cross trainer 🤔 Nothing else. There was no space to even do any floor exercises (no mats provided either) should you have been inclined. |The decking around the pool was in need of replacing, it was very old and worn and in various places it was loose. |Breakfast was ok, nothing special and definitely not 4 star. |Although I found most staff pleasant there was one in particular who had an attitude and when we asked if they could give us some towels (asked around 1pm and this wasn’t done so had to go back to reception around 6.30pm and ask again). He looked like I was putting him out and the request was unreasonable! He was there again when we checked out and told us he had to have someone “check the room” before we left. My mind boggled at what we could have done to damage this already very dilapidated room. I have also NEVER been told that a room has to be checked before leaving an hotel. |The hotel did serve some lovely evening meals, but of course that was paid for separately and not part of the package. ||My only regret, I didn’t take photos !

The pool has an oily film on it. The paths are green and not swept daily. The restaurant is too small and there is no written menu. Breakfast was chaotic. The rooms are run down with tired decor and cushion frayed and plastic sofas that sag. The lighting is very poor across the site but especiallyin the rooms which are also very noisy from rooms next to and abovel. Our fridge was lumpy with rust. The bathroom was badly in need of a face-lift. There is nothing nearby apart from a beach ( which is lovely) This might have been boutique at one point but is sadly just old and tired now. The centre is a taxi ride not a walk away for choice of eating as the hotel is very limited.

The hotel was classed as 4 star and a boutique hotel. The room was very small and of very poor quality and standard. The windows in the shower/toilet would not close as they were broken, the fridge was mouldy in places, the blinds were taped with celetape by previous person, the balcony doors were not secure. The worst for us was the location, it was miles away from the town and there was no shop, bar or restaurants near by. On the plus side It was close to a beach and had use of a few chairs and brollies. We had to take a taxi to and back to town each day. It was the last stop on our trip to Argentina and Brazil and it spoiled our holiday.

Great stay. Warmed up pool was great. Delicious breakfast. Really clean rooms.|Close to a beautiful beach with a service point for hotel guests ||Ants were a problem. Too much salt on the bacon sometimes.||||
