My Mother Died From Eating Boar’s Head Liverwurst

"A dessert spot the pair visited after shopping to indulge in ice‑cream sundaes, with those treats becoming a secret lunchtime ritual between mother and child." - Elaine Farley

Serendipity is a great 1,000 plus unit mobile home park that is meticulously maintained and has to wonderfully Immaculate pools that are kept at a balmy 86 degrees. It's off of Route 19 North in Clearwater and is next door to two small pharmacies within the entrance area. There is a CVS at the other end of the Block in a grocery store within 1 mile either direction and every other amenity you can imagine within 3 miles. The park is very quiet and has lots to do. You can go north on Route 19 and make a left on Curlew and go straight out to one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida called Honeymoon Island and then take a ferry to Caladesi Island. The Nightlife here is amazing and there's always plenty to do in Downtown Dunedin which is only 3 miles away. You're nestled between Safety Harbor Ozona Palm Harbor and Dunedin. Tampa is just down the road as is the airport about 45 minutes and also you have Clearwater St Pete Airport which is about 15 minutes off of Highway 19 South approximately 7 miles or so. On Interstate 580 you have from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to Tampa more restaurants than you could ever go to in a year if you went 3 times a day everyday 365 days a year.

ELS has not maintained the palm tree's or the public areas. Moved here in June of 2023 and lot rent was 775.00 and as of today it is $1000.00 plus the water and garbage. Becoming very expensive to live here and as of next year the rent will increase another 5.8%. ELS is just for the money not the people that they are pricing out of their homes. They can't keep maintenance people on staff because they are treating them with no respect.

We have some friends who play in The Ten o band which is a big band. They have a Christmas concert every year before Christmas. The club house where they play is very nice and clean.

The community is clean and well taken care of. It’s the kind of place when everyone waves as you drive by them. If you’re going to pass by someone face to face you can expect to Hear a “good morning, good afternoon or good night”. *Friendly *Clean and more importantly I feel safe

Quite over 55 mobile home park. Doing a job at one mobile home....no one has bothered me. Lots of trees, club house with pool. Construction on 19 makes it very difficult to get in and out.

Yelp
EXTREMELY difficult to get in touch with the office at this park. I assist my CRIPPLED, ELDERLY Mother in paying her rent. I have tried for THREE days to reach them. They are aware of when her Social Security check comes in YET every single month they leave EVICTION threatening letters for her! Last one actually said "you are in default, we will send someone by today to make sure you have vacated the premises" WHAT! NO MY MOTHER DID NOT VACATE HER HOME THAT SHE OWNS!! I have spoken with them in person, and was asked to send it in writing in an email, which I did! They are forever raising the rents. Don't try to call the office unless it has to do with them putting more money in their pockets bc they will NOT answer the phones no matter how many times you call, and you will NOT EVER get a call back (still waiting 3 days now). They took the rent check box that used to be outside, away! So you literally HAVE to see them, but they are never there! If my Mom wasn't in her final days, I would MOVE HER OUTTA HERE! Finally, not wanting to wait the entire weekend for another attempt at paying my Mom's rent, (bc YES, they are CLOSED on the weekends) making MYSELF LATE FOR WORK I drove through the entire 400 lot park to find a maintenance worker and I gave it to him to drop at the office! The door says opens at 8:30 am, This is an UNTRUTH! I was there 3 days in a row until 8:40am. They are not willing to work with my Mom on Pro-rating the rent to her Social Security check date, they would rather charge her the late fee EVERY SINGLE MONTH!! An 80 y/o crippled Woman! Not a very friendly park. This is not a "hate" review, this is a "TRUE AND HONEST" review.

Yelp
Local Park managers (Penny & Sofia) and difficult at best.
