Our visit to Serengeti Bushtops was nothing short of superb! From the moment we were greeted at the airstrip to the moment we were dropped off, no detail was left wanting. The accommodations were excellent, super comfortable and luxurious, while also maintaining the “wild” feel of being in the Serengeti. Our guides, Vitus and William were unreal. Truly. I wish I had a book with all the knowledge they shared during our safaris. Seeing the migration and all of the other Serengeti animals is a treasure we will not forget. The dining onsite was outstanding with Gilead attending to our every need, always with a smile. Every employee was a delight to visit with and always ready to help with anything we needed. |In short, do not hesitate to book with Serengeti Bushtops for a memorable, transformative visit to the Serengeti.

Written by our son, Jack (12 years old) 😊: The reason why I rated the rooms a 5 star is because they gave us very comfortable beds, you can see the animals and every person got a lion stuffed animal. The Bushtops restaurant has the best food I have ever tried. You can also add more sides to your main meal and the drinks are so good too. The location is perfect too because the Bushtops security surround your tent so you should never be worried. I would also recommend the Safari Ride it is worth it because you get to see all the animals and Joseph and Daniel are the best, they are kind, know everything and are caring.

John, Michael and All the staff are spectacular taking care of your every need. The Kopje suite was perfect, providing everything one needs and luxury. Our food was delicious. Feeling secure at anytime of the day or night was never an issue. Our Guides, God Listen Mirau and Baraka John, are hands down the reason our safari was as successful as it was. With their knowledge of the Serengeti (in its vastness), the animals (big and small), the migrations, the plants and how they all interact we were able to not just see & photograph but sit in nature and be one with it. It was a trip of a lifetime. Don't take the risk go with proven perfection: Bushtops Luxury Camp with John & Michael & staff and the 2 BEST Guides ever, God Listen Mirau and Baraka John.

We spent six nights at Serengeti Bushtops, and at times we were the only two guests in the camp. Everything was perfect and we were looked after like Royalty. ||Manager Philip always met us for conversation at the daily fire pit/sundowner event. Maitre Wilfred was remarkable in that he remembered our various preferences, from the type of dinner roll that we enjoyed, to the type of water that each of us preferred. He went out of his way to make our dining experience enjoyable. Our butler Witness paid attention to the smallest details in our tent. Particular kudos go to our driver/guide Leonard and spotter Godfrey - Godfrey has eyes like a hawk (spotted hard to see Cheetahs and a Serval cat). Leonard is a particularly educated and motivated man who made sure that we had the best possible game drive experience, by providing just the right amount of information. Importantly, Bushtops uses open vehicles which elevate the game viewing experience. We took the opportunity to visit a local primary school which was a humbling experience. ||Food was very good and beautifully presented by a talented local chef. One of us happened to have their birthday during our stay - this was acknowledged by staff in various ways including the baking of a special cake, a surprise dinner in a beautifully decorated spot on the camp grounds, and a lovely sundowner on a giant rock about 15 minutes from the camp. Safety was ensured by a group of Kurai guards who patrolled the grounds - yes, lions roam through the camp at night……. Overall, there simply was nothing to criticize and only praise to heap!

We spent 4 nights/5 days at the Serengeti Bushtops Luxury Camp. We went on two full day safaris and spent a day visiting a nearby village and school. Our guide, Leonard and spotter Boneifous greeted us from the plane with cocktails and a light snack before we headed out to the camp. On the way to the camp we encountered numerous animals (Wildebeasts, Giraffes, Zebras, etc) which we thought was amazing, Once we arrived at the camp, we met our butler Adam and waiter Fidelious. The camp is amazing, the food fantastic and the people very friendly. Our game drives were spectacular and we saw 4 of the big 5 (no Rino) and all of the ugly 5. The game drives included just our family group for the entire stay. We were able to have lunch on the Serengeti which was awesome. We ended our last night on top of Simba's rock having snacks and cocktails with our guide Leonard and tracker Boneifous. The tent was very comfortable and restaurant had excellent choices and service. Overall, we consider this a trip of a lifetime and it was made so enjoyable by everyone at the Serengeti Bushtops Luxury Camp.

This is such a beautiful, luxurious camp in the Serengeti National Park. The accomodations are top notch, the food is delicious, and the staff is exceptional! We were so impressed with our butler Adam, our waiter Fideles, and our ranger Leonard along with his spotter, Boniface. I just cannot say enough good things about this place and its people! Such a wonderful experience!

We have done quite a bit of research, consulting with several safari camps and travel agents. In the end we have chosen Serengeti Bushtops and we are so happy that we made this choice!||Everything from the tent, the food and drinks, the game drives to the staff is top notch!||The camp site blends in nicely with the savannah. We could see extensively across the plains and the gorgeous sunset from our tent. On our last day, two little zebras visited us at the front of our tent. We were also told that the buffaloes and elephants visited the camp during our stay. Too bad we were not around to see them. ||The managers Philip and Elias, our ranger and spotter Big and William, our butler Paul, our server Noel and everyone on the team were very warm and genuine and made every effort to make sure we had a perfect stay. Big and William were very knowledgeable about the Serengeti. No shortage of interesting stories about the animals, birds and plants from them and we saw the Big Four (saving the rhino for the next visit), cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, impala, water buck, topi, Thomson’s gazelle, eland, dik dik, baboons, black-faced velvet monkeys, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, vultures, marabou stork, Egyptian geese, “go away” birds, hyena, ostrich, agama lizards…... Big and William were able to track the move of the wildebeests strategically and got us the best position to witness a massive river crossing of thousands of wildebeests! They were able to anticipate the path of the animals so that we could watch the cheetahs, elephants and lions head-on! And the ride to the border of Tanzania and Kenya was unbelievable – we had the whole grassland to ourselves (so calm and peaceful) and we felt that even the zebras and wildebeests envied us as we enjoyed our bush lunch :) Paul was immaculate in his care of us and the tent, including getting packing materials for some sizeable souvenirs that we had bought elsewhere. Noel made perfect recommendations for our meals and asked the kitchen to prepare chicken consomme (which was not on the menu) for my husband when he had a bit of jet lag and lost his appetite. We wished we were able to stay longer so that we could try all the items from the 5-star menu. ||We are still very excited about the trip and have been reliving the memory every day. We will certainly visit again!

I love to research prior to booking a trip - to me that is half the fun, the planning. I looked at so many places in Tanzania and it wasn’t easy making up my mind. Bushtops Serengeti far far exceeded my expectations! The location - you feel the vastness of the Serengeti in the most amazing surroundings, The rooms are luxurious, comfortable and have views you want to pinch yourself! The game drives are amazing- we saw every animal, up close! The food is amazing and we loved that you can eat when you want, they don’t have set times. One of the most beautiful parts of this experience was the staff, every single person, from the security, to the guides, to the restaurant staff. To the massage therapist, to the manager— everyone was delightful and couldn’t do enough for us! I highly highly recommend booking directly with Bushtops, they will book all your flights, make everything smooth and seamless! Kudos to GM Phillip and the amazing people at Bushtops Serengeti!!
