I had a decent stay but there are a lot of rooms for improvements.||WiFi is only available in the communal area but no in our tent. While the tent has electricity for lighting, we can’t charge our phones or cameras in our tent. They would get water from the lake so it’s not the “cleanest” water you can get and I have a feeling I was not really completely cleaned up even after the shower. You would need to constantly ask for more water as they try to conserve them.||It is a camp site, not a resort so I think it is generally decent given the circumstances, but there are definitely better camps in the area.||Food is okay, staff is generally friendly.

We stopped for a night here to complete our Northern Serengeti leg of the Safari. The room was at best, a shower and a bed to sleep in. Dinner was good, and the view of the plains from the tent(especially sunrise) cannot be missed. Creature comforts of modern hotels are replaced with manual/sustainable initiatives, they’re done well but there’s still room for improvement.

Had a wonderful time. Very private and safe. The staff was amazing. Both Kevin and Daniel were top of the line. Highly recommend the experience. Great food and accomodations. The tents were cozy with private bathroom and shower. Wifi works well weather permitting.

We stayed at 3 tented accommodations across the the North and Central Serengeti (at a similar price point) and Savannah was our favourite. The rooms are functional rather than luxuriously furnished, however, the service is excellent and the food was very good during our stay. The packed lunches were the best which we experienced. ||||Shower is fulfilled by a bucket of hot water and therefore has a finite time period, however, staff are happy to supply you with hot water as required and is therefore more than adequate. ||||The location in the North of the Serengeti is Westerly and was excellent for the migration during August 2018. We were completely surrounded by Wildebeest and had great access to the river for the crossings. An excellent base in the North of the park.

As part of a G Adventures tour from Arusha to northern Serengeti where we slummed it basic camping for 4 nights, this place was a real treat. In the middle of nowhere, protected by rangers with daggers & bow & arrows, we spent 3 nights. The staff are the highlight here, unbelievably welcoming & ready to cater to any need. En suite tents, hot water showers, campfire, alcohol for purchase, free bottled water., candlelit dinners. The Mara river & wildlife literally on your doorstep & we didn't have to drive more than a half hour to catch 2 wildebeest crossings. Would have NO hesitation recommending this place.

Brian at EcologicalAdventures and Hamiri were amazing naturalists and tour guides. The camp was well appointed with wifi, charging stations, comfortable tents and a staff that was 5 out of 5 star amazing. Michael was kind and considerate in getting hot water for daily showers; Leonard who led the camp made sure our every need was accommodated. The dinners were not only delicious but creative and healthy. The Bush TV (campfire) every evening was a special touch to bring all the guests together for a drink before dinner was served.

After a long day of travel in hot and dusty conditions, we arrived at the camp. Due to incorrect expectations set by our tour company, we were not impressed. The camp is basic with a donkey system shower. We were upset and expressed this to the camp manager Leonard. The way in which Leonard handled the situation was professional and impressive. In fact his whole team was incredible and we had a wonderful stay. The chefs deliver delicious foods under difficult situations. Michael delivers the water and the camp is clean and well looked after. Please note there are no credit card facilities. To Leonard and the team - Asante sana.

Above all is the borderless feeling - the animals proximity and the night sky as you have never had above you. Spent ther 2 nights.
