Serenity in the Marigny

we booked this place after seeing the wonderful reviews everyone has left and to our shock and horror, our experience was nothing like the reviews. there were GIANT roaches in 2 out of the 4 rooms we booked (that we noticed!) and one of the windows kept flying open throughout the night in a third room, leaving the entire street to be heard into the room loudly. When we asked for help and perhaps accommodated into another room, they sent a guy to tie the swinging window with a CHARGER CABLE, and just gave us a bug spray to deal with the roaches. HARDLY SERENE IF YOU ASK ME. protect your peace, go stay at some other bnb.

Very comfortable rooms. Great location, close to the French quarter and Frenchmen street but far enough that it’s quiet. Good breakfast provided. Th staff were friendly and communicated well. We had access to the roof deck and hot tub which was clean and comfortable.

An absolutely fantastic stay here. Great location, quiet, very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast provided by Daphne. I believe there are 5 rooms in total so it's not a hotel, more like a relaxed bed and breakfast. We had access to the jacuzzi and sauna on the top floor and that was a great bonus. If you'd like to avoid the chaos of the French Quarter but still be in walking distance this is perfect. Thank you Daphne!

I've never written a review before, but I just had to share what an AMAZING experience I had at Serenity in the Marigny. After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance and book a 4 night stay to escape from my hectic day-to-day for an extended birthday weekend. I scheduled several spa treatments over the course of my stay since my goal was to get some serenity in my life, and my goal was more than met! Daphne was a generous and a wonderful host, and her team was amazing. From the beautiful room, to the delicious breakfasts, to the relaxing massages and facial, I had a great experience. This is a bed and breakfast, so if you're looking for the traditional hotel experience, then this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for something cozy and more intimate, with a more hands-on touch, then this is the place for you.

This is a great place to stay. I stayed here over a year ago and forgot to write a review. Has a great hot tub on the second floor. The rooms are very nice. The location is great especially if you like to listen to live music on Frenchmen Street. They have a common area where you can sit upstairs as well and I left my checkbook there (and did not even realize it) and it fell in between the sofa cushions, and the owner of the property contacted me by phone that they found it and they mailed it back to me at their cost. Five plus stars for unbelievable customer service. Nice breakfast too!!

While attending a collegiate event in New Orleans, my husband and I had an opportunity to stay at the "Serenity in the Marigny" Bed and Breakfast. So many reasons to thank Ms. Daphne and her staff for accommodating us. The process for checking in and out was quite simple and there was secure access both outside and inside the B&B. The location was absolutely perfect for us as it was near many cultural activities. We can attest to the fact that the staff, ambience, decor, and quality of services at this B&B places it in a "league all of its own"! The breakfast was delicious, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean; and the upper floor Spa was sooo inviting! In fact, there really is no comparison. This will be our "GO TO" spot every time we visit New Orleans and we are planning to go back in the very near future. From Millie and Fred...That's a promise!

Enjoyed a couples massage and rooftop picnic. I can’t say enough about the experience. The picnic was beyond lovely! Daphne, the owner took excellent care of us. The meal was well thought out and just perfect. The setting had lovely flowers and a sweet ambiance. I don’t think any experience could outdo this one! We will return on our next trip. Perfection!

Daphne, the host, has a beautiful building and an amazing location in the Marigny. The rooms are well appointed and lovely. You can walk to Bourbon or Frenchman and the neighborhood has a wonderful historic character. Breakfast is fresh fruit, pancakes, or waffles, perfect boiled eggs, again lovely and perfect. There is a beautiful common area upstairs with a sauna and hot tub. Highly recommend Serenity in the Marigny.

I was in town for my cousin's wedding and thought it would be nice to get a massage the morning of the wedding after tooling around town for a few days. Was ecstatic to find this spa just a few blocks from my Airbnb. Wonderful little bed and breakfast, kinda wish I had stayed there lol. I got the blended fusion massage with hot stone and it was absolutely wonderful! I actually fell asleep during the massage which legit NEVER happens so you know it had to be extra good! After I was checking out, the woman at the desk showed me around the building a little bit and it was so adorable with some awesome amenities (omg that KITCHEN!). My therapist and everyone else I interacted with here were just lovely. I am definitely going to look into staying on site the next time I am in Nola!

Flying in from out of town I had to blindly pick a day spa. I spent a lot of time online looking at websites services locations and any customer reviews I could find! The staff was unbelievably knowledgeable and personable and tweaked my services to fully accomplish my desired results! I did a foot bath detox, full body massage, & seaweed wrap... the wrap has immediately noticeable results & I feel fully pampered relaxed & detoxed! I will be returning for 2 more wraps for maximum results. **Im traveling for work so I was unable to choose my hotel accommodations but if you like the Intimacy of a bed & breakfast I absolutely recommend Serenity in the Marigny as a place to stay!

In town for a work event and wanted to treat myself in my last day. I got a 80min massage, and it was great. They have a salt water jacuzzi which was nice! Also a sauna but I didn't try that out this time. Met daphne, the owner, who was very kind and showed me around the bed and breakfast as well, will have to stay here next time I am in town :) thank you!
