I have to leave a glowing review for Debra. She did an amazing custom facial for my first time and my skin feels incredible, not to mention it was incredibly relaxing and just what I needed. Debra described each step and educated me on all the products and procedures used. She was extremely meticulous and thoughtful - I cannot wait to go back. The spa is clean and super cute and the receptionist was wonderful as well.

Ynes was very professional and explained everything to me. She was a very kind person and very gentle. This was my first ever facial and she made the experience well worth it. The establishment is very clean and welcoming. I felt so relaxed the products used smelled amazing and my face feels and looks great. I will be definitely adding facials into my monthly self care routines and Serenity Wellness Spa is where I am going every time

I’ve been coming to Serenity regularly (every 1-2 months) for over a year now. I had tried many spas in SF, trying to find the best value for price for deep tissue massages. Serenity is hands-down the best in my opinion. Although it isn’t cheap, it’s still more affordable than some of the upscale spas in the area, and all of the masseuses are consistently awesome at what they do. I don’t even prioritize seeing the same masseuse every time bc every single time I’ve gone, no matter who I’ve seen has been wonderful. Bee and Mark in particular are very strong, so if you’re looking for a deep tissue they are great.

I love this wellness spa. First the administrative staff is terrific and and efficient and kind. I've been getting almost weekly massages from Mark for about a year. He is part of my selfcare and his lymphatic massages were incredible support when i was going through cancer treatment. I am now getting sport massages from him which have changed my life - I strength train and my muscles are thriving with Mark's massage support!

Pattra took the time to ask me what type of pressure I liked for my massage. I can honestly say that was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She applied the perfect amount of pressure for my liking. I could have fallen asleep I was so relaxed. I highly recommend her services if you are looking for a really great massage.

This has become my go-to spot for massages when my back is bothering me. Joana has been wonderful. Mark as well- he asked me my issue areas and then was able to address them perfectly- he also answered all of my questions with suggestions and insight. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a very relaxing deep tissue massage with Vicky yesterday. This place is very clean and cozy, and I absolutely loved my treatment. Staff is very friendly, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely amazing massage! Both Bee and Joana are amazing! Make sure to give yourself ample time to find parking and make sure the pay the meter as there are a lot of parking enforcements in this neighborhood!

I got my first professional massage here from Bee, and it was great! She made me feel comfortable and very relaxed. I did a Swedish massage, and it was a super relaxing 50 minutes. Can't wait to come back in a couple of weeks!

My first experience at Serenity Wellness was wonderful! I did the facial/massage/detox wrap package and it did not disappoint. Pattra was very kind and knowledgeable, ensuring I felt comfortable from beginning to end. She took the time to understand my skin concerns and desired results, as well as answered any and all questions I had along the way. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated, and will absolutely be returning again!

I just started a skin care routine and wanted to get a facial. Pattra was very kind and made me feel very comfortable as soon as I walked in. The staff members are very friendly. Overall I had a great experience and I plan to book a massage in a couple months.

I've been searching for a new massage therapist for a long time. And I'm thrilled with Pattra. Many therapists ask you what you want and then go through their predetermined routine ignoring your request. But Pattra listened and did as I asked. And she used cbd cream. I had never used it before and the result was amazing. No residual next day pain at all. Extraordinary after a deep tissue 70 minutes digging into my neck and shoulders. My husband bought me a present of a package of massages. Now I have them regularly.

We received a gift from my Aunt for this spa. The choice couldn't have been better. My wife and I had the 70 minute couples massage. Joanna gave me the absolute best massage I ever had ever had and I've had many at the finest hotels and spa's in Napa Valley and other cities. Serenity is very professional and I highly recommend them.

I probably should've written this review over a year ago but hey, better late than never. I've been coming to Serenity inconsistently, but trying to be better (2024 - new year, maybe same me..?). Thida is a blessing in my life. I've come in for melasma discoloration and help managing dry skin. Thida always has wonderful recommendations for treatments and products and my skin always looks incredible after a visit and has improved dramatically. As a bonus, these are definitely the most relaxing facials I've ever had. Highly recommend booking a facial here, you won't regret it!

While visiting SF I booked a couples massage here this past weekend. My massage was great, the staff was kind and polite. I was also thrilled to see they carried a few more items from the Epioncè line of medical grade skincare than my own medspa back in Portland. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication/mishap between my friend and the receptionist-- though not at all her fault. The owner of the spa reached out to me via email to clear everything up. I was so glad she emailed and we were able to figure out what happened. When I visit SF again I will definitely be back. :)

I'm a regular at this spa, coming in for a CBD massage every 3-4 weeks or so. The place is small and pretty no-frill, but it is one of the best boutique spas I have ever been to. I always book with Pattra and she is absolutely incredible. Her movements are extremely effective for my sore muscles and her firm pressure help release a lot of tension. She also listens intently to what I need and delivers. I ask for firm pressure and it definitely kills (in a good way!), she is strong!! But when I have come in for a more relaxing and light to medium pressure session, she delivers just as well. I've also come in for a few facials from various aestheticians. The consultations have been great and I feel like they are perfectly personalized for what I need. I have never been less than extremely satisfied with any treatment I've had done here. Overall, this place is great. It's simple compared to a luxury day spa, but the quality of the services themselves is absolutely top notch and keeps me coming back. It's the type of place you come back to regularly instead of treating yourself once in a blue moon. Great location, too!

I've experienced some of the best massages by Mark at this quaint place! The deep tissue massages are worth trying as well as other techniques he is well versed in. He is attentive and provides recommendations for self care at home. This is a no frills, straightforward place with variety of services. The return customer discount is always a plus!

I have been a regular client at the spa for five+ years. I see Mark once a month for a deep tissue massage. There is no one better for treating problem areas and providing a relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a couple's massage on Monday 7/1/2024 - we had a wonderful experience! My massage therapist Bee Wessarokjit CMY was excellent!! Violet the receptionist was warm and attentive. My husband's massage therapist was also excellent from what I heard (he left his own positive review). We highly recommend Serenity Wellness Spa. We already plan on gifting our daughters some massage sessions!! Thank you Bee and we hope to return soon!

Had an amazing massage with Machie. I've had a few massages in the city and this one was by far my favorite. She made sure I was comfortable and understood what I was looking for. Given that she is an expert in the feet, she spent a fair amount of time doing reflexology on my feet after starting with my back and it was unlike anything else I've had. I left feeling totally refreshed and reset. I look forward to my next appointment.

Long overdue review: I LOVE serenity wellness. Small business, clean, great natural products, and fantastic staff. I've been worked on by: Alexandria, Nakia (who is not always available because she works with an NFL player ), and Kimberly. All were wonderful, Nakia was who I scheduled for my pre-wedding deep tissue massage, and she made sure to see a picture of my dress so she didn't bruise me in areas my skin showed outside of dress (I like a lot of pressure and Nakia doesn't mess around). And my latest facial/massage with Kim was outstanding. My skin was literally glowing after 3 years of not having a facial. She also took the time to review all my current facial products via email after hours! I could not believe it. And I love that Kim didn't push me to buy any products! Will be a recurring customer.

I have been looking for a facial that includes massage and I was thrilled to be booked with Kim. Not only did my face get a much needed massage, but my neck, hands and shoulders, too. The Spa uses all natural skin products and my face was glowing when I left. I must remember to have facials more frequently and I will definitely book again with Kim.

Amazing service by Thida on my very first facial in San Francisco! My skin came out silky soft and I felt like my hard-to-get areas are so refreshed. This post-extraction mask stung like a motherfucker but all was worth it. I usually purge (breakout) a tiny bit right after facials bc of all the gunk coming to the surface but not bad at all this time

For a therapeutic sports massage, Mark is the best. He finds the knots and trouble spots, and works them loose so that you can return to form like no other therapist I've experienced. Recently, I strained my IT band, which threatened my ability to compete in a triathlon (which ended with a Double Dipsea). Just a week before the event, I saw Mark. He worked and worked and worked on releasing the knots and tight spots, while also giving good attention to my back and shoulders and arms and feet. I felt great afterwards. Better yet, each day thereafter I continued my recovery, and was ultimately able to compete in the triathlon. If I hadn't seen Mark, I would have had to sit it out. Thanks to Mark, I had one of the best race days of my life.

Omg this massage was so good! I felt like a brand new man after! And it lasted longer than expected (only realized later once I was walking home, I will have to leave more tip next time...). Amazing! Already set another appointment for this weekend! Thank you Sharon, you're the best!

Fabulous spa. Ynes gave an incredible hydrating facial that I very much needed and an amazing face massage. She is super friendly too. Best facial I've gotten and will definitely be back.

I got a body detox wrap and facial combo. The facial was 5 star. Absolutely loved the whole process and the results. Sharon showed lots of attention. I was really disappointed with the body detox wrap. First of all the whole process is a bit make shift. There is barely any exfoliation and then they put a cream and wrap you with plastic. I haven't seen results after or a day later. I'll update this if I do. For the cost, I really didn't think it was worth it. I'd give 0 stars. In combination I give 3. Probably I'd only go for the facial next time!

I have been getting monthly facials from Thida for over a year now and am thrilled with the results. My sporadic acne has cleared up, my skin glows and people tell me I look younger. Thida also recommends products to me that work and I feel she really cares about improving the quality of my skin. It also helps that she seems like a lovely person and is a hard and thorough worker. I highly recommend her treatments and the spa in general.

A day of pampering is what I needed and a day of pampering is what I got! So I "was" a facial virgin. Thida is a complete sweetheart. Explained the whole process and was gentle throughout. Included light massage (laughing... with my eyes closed, the image I had in my head was of a kitten gently kneading my shoulders). My skin felt clean/hydrated and the array of scents with the different potions used on my face was intoxicating :). Loved that there was no "hard sell" into buying products afterwards. I have to say that Serenity Wellness Spa hit a high bar and I know there is no where I will ever go other than there. Look forward to another session with Thida.

Serenity spa lives up to its name. It was a relaxing atmosphere and the facial aesthetician was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. My skin glowed afterwards and I felt amazing. I will definitely return!

Wow!! I have been looking for a place in the city where I can get a good facial. Yes I have settled and been like this is decent enough without seeing results. I have been here before because because several years back I to a few treatments for my body that were phenomenal. Why did I stop going? Because I am stupid and thought all places were equal and they are not. I got introduced to Epionces through a trusted skincare friend who I value her opinion. I went on the website and found that Serenity Wellness Spa was one of their distributors. I scheduled an appointment as I have been here before and I am telling you, you want to book an appointment here. Nanthida is the real thing. She is a diploma esthetician. I am not sure what that means but I asked. The initials are CIDESCO. It is the like getting a higher education in skincare. Lets just say from the get go I knew this was going to be a good facial. The products Serenity Wellness Spa sells and promotes are top of their class. The ambiance is calming. The location is clean, welcoming, and the place where I want to get all of my wellness and self care done at. This location also has an ND . That is a Naturopathic Medicine doctor. I have met her before at a different location she is worth looking into.

An excellent experience! I had found this gem after speaking with a client of mine who emphasized the importance of investing in facials regularly. Browsing through Yelp, Serenity Wellness Spa and it's raving reviews brought an end to my search for where I would book my very first facial. Upon entering, I noticed how peaceful and tranquil the environment was. I was greeted by the spa owner, Sharon, who I had booked my 50min massage + 50min facial with. She had me fill out a form of basic background information and then led me to the room where the massage and facial would take place. A warm and comfortable space, I undressed and got under the blankets that were placed on the cushioned massage table. Sharon entered shortly and began the massage. She had me start by taking two deep breaths of the essential oil in her hands. This instantly put me in relaxation mode. She was able to work on the parts of my back that cause the most discomfort yet was able to massage the entire body within 50min. She focused on arms, legs, back, and shoulders(my most tense area). After the massage, she got started on the facial. She applied steam to my face, cleansed twice, then exfoliated my skin with a gentle exfoliant containing enzymes. She had also performed an extraction which wasn't too painful. Sharon then applied two different types of facial masks. As these were setting, she gave me an arm, shoulders, and scalp massage. After about fifteen minutes, the mask was removed and she started to massage my face. She applied the finishing products to my face a lips. During my appointment, Sharon talked me through each of the steps she performed and which type of products she was using. She gave me advice on which products work best and answered questions I had regarding skincare. Sharon was very insightful and knowledgeable. She recommended products which she used for my facial and had them available to purchase as well :) I loved my experience at Serenity Wellness Spa and will be incorporating these appointments into my schedule regularly! I will also be booking the 50min massage + 50min facial for my significant other. This package would be perfect as a gift for your friends and family. My wife and I did a couples message yesterday and we both still have not stopped talking about how amazing it was. Just the right amount of hard and soft. Everyone working there was very sweet. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I purchased a facial/massage package and the facial portion was cancelled last minute while I was on the way from the East Bay. I really wasn't upset at all, just bummed because I was looking forward to this whole spa session. Machie gave great customer service and Sharon, the owner, reached out and was even more accommodating. She rescheduled me for the following Monday and did both my facial/massage at a discounted rate. I'm usually picky with massages depending on touch and pressure, but with Sharon it was tolerable and a relaxing experience. The facial was very refreshing and I liked how she advised me what to do with my skin. Overall pleased! I will come back and try the body wrap and chemical peel.

I just had a massage at Serenity today with Bee. She was exceptional. Just the right amount of pressure and she focused on the areas I wanted to address in my back. I left Serenity feeling completely recharged. Thank you, Bee!

My husband surprised me this weekend with a massage at Serenity and they were so nice to accommodate me. I was very taken back with their wonderful customer service and surprised when they greeted me by name. I had Pattra as my massage therapist and I received a Swedish Massage and it was the best massage I've ever experienced. Pattra knew the places where my body needed extra attention and the rhythm of her hands when she massaged was smooth and fluent. I've never experienced that level of fluidity before in a massage and there were areas where I was thinking I'd like her to massage and her hands would immediately go there. It was like she was n sync with what my mind and body was needing. I felt like I was between sleeping and in a trance, completely tranquil. I get massages quite a bit and have even received luxury massages at Burke Williams and such but hands down Pattra is the best massage therapist I've had. If you're looking for a massage that's not too hard and not too soft. I'd say ask for the swedish and definitely ask for Pattra.

I don't usually do reviews but this one was warranted. I had a great experience at the spa, check in was easy, the facility was clean and the people friendly. I came for a deep tissue massage. My massage with Mark was exceptional. I've been hurting for awhile and Mark knew what was the issue upon touch and he worked hard to fix the problem. He is the best and most caring massage therapist I've seen. I feel like a new person and will continue to see him.

I used to like going here but then I was getting massages from Machie who TEXTS while she massages you with one hand for a $200 massage. Happened multiple times so i stopped going.

My skin feels light, refreshed, and cleansed after an amazing hour long facial with the amazing Nanthida, who treated me with a microdermabrasion and a purifying deep pore cleanse. She was very thorough and made sure to treat the areas that are more problematic for me, as well as offer me many tips and suggestions I can apply at home to keep my skin looking as healthy as possible before my next visit. Cannot recommend enough. The results were instantly noticeable and I desperately needed her expertise! Well worth it, cannot recommend enough.

I keep this simple: The spa is not a spa, no showers, no place to relax. 2 Stars! The sandra kept bossing me around. Zero Star! The massage person gave a good athletic massage, lacks warmth, wants you out of the room fast because they crammed her full of appointments with no breathing space. 4 stars! They send these auto survey to catch their bad service and prevent people posting the truth.

Amazing, Thida is the best! I've been going here for a year now and have noticed a huge difference in my skin. Thida is amazing and kind, and whatever concern I have with my skin she takes that into consideration with her treatment and there have been really amazing results!

I called and was greeted by an extremely rude and short receptionist. She put me on hold (without letting me know) for at least 5 minutes as she proceeded to schedule a consultation for me. Although, it was not a formal hold and I could hear her casually talking the whole time in the background. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. I hung up and tried calling back multiple times but no one would pick up. I was looking forward to getting a facial there, but not anymore. Terrible service and first impression!

This place is amazing! I came a few weeks ago with a friend and got an amazing deep tissue (with cupping) massage from Machie. The next week I had a sudden calf injury after playing tennis and could barely walk. I called Serenity in a panic and they got me right in. Not only did I feel like I was in great hands with Mark, he also gave me guidance on how to recover. He also checked up on me and gave me tips throughout the next week and now my calf is pretty much back to normal! I think the massage really helped. They now have a very loyal customer in me!

Today I had one of the most relaxing, restorative massages I've ever had and I've had a lot of massages. Sharon used just the right amount of pressure for a combination of therapy and relaxation. The aromatherapy oils, quiet background music, and her soft voice created a serene environment. The entire experience was one I would highly recommend. She also is an excellent licensed esthetician.

If you're looking for an amazing facial, stop searching and go see Thida at Serenity as soon as you can. I've done the customized 70 min and customized 90 min facials, and both times I came out glowing - I can't tell you the number of compliments I received on my skin. And Thida takes the time to really understand your skin, and helps you take care of it even after you leave Serenity with her recommendations and advice. Without a doubt, I'll be visiting regularly.

Lovely experience- greeting staff was very attentive and welcoming! Kim, my esthetician, was super friendly in addition to being knowledgeable and informative about treatment and recommendations. Wonderful skin treatments complemented by a relaxing and restorative massage. Left with glowing skin and even on a gloomy day received many compliments as I went home. I went to get a facial at Serenity because it has a 5 star rating.  I went in because I had an irritation on my chin, and my skin needs some TLC in winter, and I got customized 70-minute facial.   I had a wonderful facial experience at Serenity. Kimberly was my esthetician, and she was fantastic. She was friendly, careful, and considerate. Before we began, she listened to my concerns carefully, and was very mindful of using products that would work well with my skin, and kept me informed all along about what was being used.  Kimberly mentioned that she used the Kiwi mask, Serenity own brand, and it really was amazing.  I liked her firm facial massage, and it felt as it tightened my face. I will definitely go back. I love that she customized the products she uses for my skin type, and that she was so mindful of my sensitivity to some exfoliants.  I was very comfortable and enjoyed it very much.

One word: K-I-M I started coming to Serenity for facials 2-years ago in hopes of treating my breakouts and Kim has been absolutely wonderful. She's extremely knowledgeable and very detailed during each facial appointment. I can't say enough good things - Whether it's acne related or for self-care, treat yourself to a facial and make sure you schedule it with Kim! :)

I've been coming here for years! Sharon and her team are really wonderful. They are very kind and the services are always fantastic! I've had various massages and facials over the years and even brought my Mom in from time to time. Most recently, Bee, a newer therapist gave me a massage. She was wonderful! Prior to that JoAna made me absolutely melt. You can't go wrong and I highly recommend this place!

Everyone here is so wonderful! They know their craft. Can't recommend Mark enough but I've also seen other professionals here that were just as talented. Whether massage or facial, this place is a quality spot.

This is not the fanciest place I've ever gotten a massage but it is the best. I've been coming to Mark for deep tissue massages on a regular basis for years. He's helped me with back and leg pain related to degenerative disc disease, mild scoliosis and spinal stenosis. The massages are sometimes uncomfortable due to tight muscles that need to be worked but I don't go there to relax...I go there to feel better. Mark is very attentive to his patients' needs and always seems to be learning about new ways to help them. We've done deep tissue, acupressure, cupping and sports massage. The spa is always clean; the staff warm and welcoming. I felt very comfortable getting a massage after they reopened and Mark was back.

I have been coming to this spa for massages and mostly facials for a quite a few years. Before the pandemic, Kim had done my facials and I cannot say enough good words about her. I've wanted a facial for a year (thank you, Sharon, for keeping in touch to let me know when they will reopen), and now that they are open again, I had a facial today. It was so nice seeing Kim again. She is professional, extremely sweet and polite and asks if everything is okay throughout the facial. Kim did a stellar job again today. I also like that she educates me about my skincare. Now that the world is opening up a bit, I'll continue to see Kim as often as I possibly can. Thank you, Kim. This spa and all it's staff (Sharon is on top of everything!!) is stellar!
