A traditional Romanian restaurant with cheerful staff. The food is OK -- meat was tasty but with heavy cream sauces and flavorless simply grilled veggies. The decor is very nice, with its vaulted arched ceilings. They also gifted us a fatty pork appetizer served with raw red onions. I loved my chicken soup.

An Unforgettable Traditional Dining Experience! This is hands down the best and most authentic restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining at. After multiple visits and trying a variety of dishes, I can confidently say that everything on the menu is a perfect 10/10. Beyond the incredible food, the experience itself is truly unique—from the traditional dancing to the local spirits, it’s an absolute must for anyone visiting Brașov. The staff are both friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. A huge thank you to the team for such an amazing experience we can’t wait to return!

Very good traditional restaurant. This place was recommended by locals. Most tables are downstairs in a cave like atmosphere. Definitely give them a try. The only thing I don’t recommend is the chicken schnitzel it was way too thin for my liking.

This restaurant is spectacular, one of the best meals we had in Romania. Everything is super tasty and the service is very good too, and the place is very beautiful. The pork crackling served as a side dish is fantastic. We even bought some from the store in front of the restaurant to take home.

This place came highly recommended by both locals and tourists, for good reason. Cozy underground environment in an old cellar, efficient & attentive service from well-presented staff in traditional dress, delicious traditional Romanian/Transylvanian dishes. Good vegetarian options from the fasting menu. Complimentary fried pork belly & bread when you sit down which was well-seasoned and tasty (if you are vegetarian, let them know when you sit down, or you will get the pork without asking for it). I wish I stayed in Brașov longer so I could eat here again.

Based on a local’s recommendation we ate dinner at Sergiana today and were very happy we did! Service was very attentive and timely plus the food was super! I had the Sarmale (mixed meats rolls with polenta) and it was excellent. The wife had a Greek salad as she didn’t want much for dinner and it was very good. They also included complimentary bread and fried pork skins. We had wine and beer with dinner and the cost was very reasonable. We walked in and were seated quickly without a reservation.

Wonderful traditional România food. Plenty of options. Cool underground restaurant very similar to beer halls. Would recommend to get all the classic traditional dishes.

The underground room makes it the perfect place to dine in during the hot and humid summer days. Food is tasty and plenty, service is good. A bit off the beaten path but a good choice nonetheless..
