My Mom has known Sergio and Lena for upwards of 25 years. We love them and their store. Have purchased several pieces from them and will be going back after a long hiatus to get new wedding bands.

Finally decided to take the plunge and propose to my long-time girlfriend. Unfortunately I didn't know any jewelers and knew even less about diamond quality. Luckily, my soon-to-be-wife had described exactly the type of ring she wanted, so I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. I decided to go to the jewelry district in Downtown, and upon arriving was overwhelmed by the amount of places to shop. Each building I entered had around 40-50 booths. As soon as I would approach a booth, I'd get attacked by someone asking if I needed help. I'm the type of person that likes to browse around by myself without being bothered, and if I need help, I'll ask for it. And as soon as I mentioned that I was in the market for a wedding ring...their eyes would light-up with dollar signs. I never really felt comfortable with anyone and always had the feeling that everyone was after my money rather than my satisfaction. I then approached Sergio's booth, and was simply greeted with a smile. I liked how they had such a wide variety of jewelry. I found a ring very similar to what my girlfriend had described. Sergio was very helpful in explaining to me how a diamond is valued i.e. cut, carat, clarity, color, etc. We agreed on a price, which was well below my budget. I not only walked away Sergio's booth with a better understanding of diamonds, but also knowing that I got a great deal on a beautify ring. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Wow! I went to visit Sergio and Lena with two of my nephew for an engagement ring, and long and behold I fell in love with two beautiful pieces for my self. What a perfect place to shop, if you don't see what you're looking for on hand take a picture or your own design. Leena will work with you. We all came home very, very happy.

Sergio and Lena are two of the most charming people I've met. I was strolling along Hill Street and looking for earrings and a necklace to replace some jewelry that was stolen. I had picked out a topaz necklace at 23rd Street Jewelers for $3000. I was shocked to see nearly the identical necklace but with much bigger stones at Sergio's at a fraction of the price. I also picked out a unique pair of gold earrings different than I had ever seen before. I highly recommend Sergio's if you are interested in (1) great customer service; (2) a friendly no-hassle atmosphere; (3) unique inventory of quality items; and (4) great prices. After spending the day looking for an engagement ring. I shopped around several vendors before going to Sergio's. Leena and her Husband were very friendly and professional and took the time to answer my questions. They had a good selection and were easy to work with. I decided to get the ring from Sergio's and it was so worth the drive to DTLA. I highly recommend anyone looking for high quality jewelry to go and give them a visit.

I have known Sergio for over 27 years. Sergio is a gentleman. I recently bought our wedding rings from him. Sergio certainly gets 5 star, I was not so thrilled with his wife. I did not have a good experience with her shopping for our rings. If you get Sergio to help you, go for it. Real nice gentleman. The missing 2 stars are because of her.

These guys were great. They answered all our questions and gave us plenty of options within our price range for selecting a diamond. I would definitely recommend them.
