Just wonderful. Best things to do is to come for sunset and don’t hesitate to walk to go closer the mountain. The moment is unique, the colors change quickly. When the sun disappears, go back to you car, drive a bit, and stop after some minutes to observe the end of the sunset from the mountain. You will see, that’s sensational

We bought 4x4 tickets on the market square in Humahuaca for $15000 pesos each. They packed 6 adults into a Toyota Landcruiser. 25 km gravel road climbing 5000ft (we didn't fancy the drive ourselves). There is also a $1000 pesos per person entry fee to pay when almost at the top. Once up there the discomfort of the journey is forgotten. Truly a spectacle unlike any other. Facilities at the top should you need them. We didn't walk down to the lookout as the climb back up seemed too steep, with so little air, at over 14,000ft. Highly recommended @grandrovervoyager.

If you can get there, either by means of an organised tour or by renting a car, make this your priority. Pictures cannot do the place justice. Be aware you will clime to over 4300M above sea level so altitude sickness is a possibility. Having said that it is absolutely worth it. One of the most amazing places I have ever visited. If you can, walk down the path to the farthest view point. Then take baby steps back to the car park. You won't regret it

Exceptionnal place, it was stunning, even better than what you can see on the pictures. We climbed from Humahuaca with a guide and were astounded by the landscape (and the altitude too!).

One of the most beautiful colours I’ve seen travelling 😍 Argentinians Mountains are nothing to envy to other countries ! You’ll meet wonderful animals around there “Bicounia” but before to get there you have to know : - if you don’t have a 4x4 please just take a lift with the guides at the tourism office they are really kind and tell you a lot about the place(6.000$ pesos p.p) + 200 pesos p.p for the entrance . - you can go by yourself but be aware the road are not easy and you could break your renting car. - you’ll get to 4000m of altitude and there you’ll need a sweet or warm clothes to be comfortable. - at 3pm start to be very windy at this times so preferably go in the morning 🥰 - For drone Flyers check the wind which in altitude is higher . . Enjoy the beautifuf view !

What’s to say… just go there. We were early May in the middle of the afternoon. Thinking a bit later might be better for pictures but I’m sure anyone can google that ;-)

Spectacular. Try to go when there isn't rain (such as in the morning). The view is amazing and you can commission a Jeep for 6 people in the bus square at Humahuaca for 500 pesos. It is absolutely worth it! Keep in mind, it is cold up there, especially if it rains, so bring warm clothes. I guess it was about 10-12° when we arrived. If there is sun it is warmer, but be prepared!

it was a very interesting place. however, keep in mind that the road is unpaved with stones, the serpentine takes about 1 hour
