Servigroup Diplomatic Hotel

Nice rooms and cleaning was excellent, hotel itself is very nice and with a great location between old town and the strip. As a couple in our 50's who like a bit of quiet and a bit lively it was great. Only minor downside was that it does tend to cater for elderly guests, over 65's really. The breakfast was good but absolute chaos every morning filled with with grumpy Spanish pensioners who all seemed miserable lol.

Stayed in this hotel 2 years ago with friends and we had a great experience, staff helpful, restaurant meals lovely. But unfortunately I’ve done a solo trip this year and how Benidorm has changed but not for the better. The streets of the new town are falling apart,pavements breaking up and that’s awkward using a mobility scooter, there’s weeds popping up everywhere,streets are dirty and smelly certainly not the Benidorm I used to rave about this is my fourth time here but sadly the last . The hotel is still lovely but the meals are absolutely disgusting, couldn’t believe what they were serving the other day ( pigs trotters in some sort of gravy , and also roasted pigs cheeks and today Friday bulls tail , they must have a different chef because nothing like this was on the menu 2 years ago. The hotel has a lot of elderly Spanish guests that look at the English like they are something the cat dragged in, and they are rude and seem to have left any manners back at home ( if they had any to start with) on a better note the staff are still amazing, polite and very helpful ,can’t think of much more to write only that I will never set foot in Benidorm again ( oh old town not so bad )

The best place I ever stayed! Could not fault it. Everything was to the highest standard and very professional and attentive staff. Amazing! Deserves 5 stars and more

The hotel felt homely as you entered the reception area. Rooms were cleaned daily with a change of sheets and towels. Restaurant was roomy and plenty of food choices. Entertainment was really good. Most definitely we would stay there again and highly recommend the Diplomatic Hotel without a doubt.

Just returned from a stay at the Diplomatic Hotel, Really nice hotel and food and very clean, just be careful if you staying in the back as there is a hotel opposite that has a loud air con unit going all night which keeps you awake.|All the staff were very nice and helpful, would definitely stay there again, Nice central location.

Very happy with this lovely clean hotel / room our room is on the second floor overlooking the pool were very impressed with the breakfast as theres alot of choice its very well presented as we are bed /breakfast only this is are second visit and we will return

First time at this hotel, will be back. Breakfast fab. Could do with improvement in the spa. Otherwise better than expected Thank you

Went here for the 2nd time at Christmas as hotel is lovely four of us.||Beautiful Xmas decorations and food was good. Entertainment is not for us as they cater mainly for over 80s. Duo singing very boring.||Rooms are fine except they allow dogs who owners let them bark constantly or leave the pets to bark no thought for others.||Maid left our balcony door wide open one day so watch out for this error.||Woman in charge in the main restaurant is very unprofessional and rude.||We was trying to book a table for Xmas day with her. Said she does this of a morning. Very strange as when we entered the restaurant in the evening she was taking booking. Argued 21hr was 10pm we tried to tell her it was actually 22hr. She told us to come back tomorrow. I walked away but was waiting further away from husband and 2 friends. As they turned their backs she started to make very rude jesters behind their backs not realising I was watching her.||Asked to see a manager who is very nice and said she was making light of it all. I asked if this was true why did she wait till they turned away. I knew she had lied to her manager about the situation. The manager said she is going to apologise to us all. Really Xmas day no apology left 27th still no apology so I can only say. Very unprofessional very rude and tells Lies.||I was not the only guest she was rude to speaking to others.||Good hotel not so good staff she should be removed or not be head of anything requires training lots of it as has no people skills. I will be writing to head office to inform them of the situation.
