Very nice Hotel. Exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed the food although not to everyones taste but wonderful selection. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish entertainment each night. It was fascinating to watch the locals dancing.|I found the dining room and bed room staff very pleasant and helpful. Not so the reception staff. They were rude and arrogant especially the male staff in particular the younger guy. He left my transfer paper work thrown to the side all day and never informed me. It was faxed at 10.09 am and I must have passed him at least 4 times that day and he just ignored me. I finally received it late that evening from a female receptionist who just happened to find it.!!!|On the morning I left I went to reception with my door card. He never spoke or said thank you or safe journey. Just a rude scowl on his face. I'm 72. Never again would I stay or recommend this hotel. All due to the reception staff

The hotel was perfect for our Christmas 5 day stay. Clean, comfortable rooms including a disabled room for me. Good food and a good selection in the dining area. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommended this hotel. Reasonably close to the sea front. Hope to return.

This was a great stay! I have food allergies (gluten and dairy). This hotel is FACE certified by the Spanish coeliac society. They have a separate gluten free menu for dinner with a gluten free toaster and an option to make separate gluten free fries. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating; finding cakes and other products I might like as substitutes. They also provided breakfast before the buffet opened so we could eat before our early flight home. If you don't speak Spanish, google translate can be useful for asking about specific allergens but some of the staff spoke English and they were all extremely helpful. The other food items in the buffet are not labelled with other allergens so it is important to ask if things are fried in butter if you have a dairy allergy. The spa is lovely too and the hotel is well located (only a 2 minute walk from the beach). The staff who went above and beyond made this stay just that extra bit special.

Had a 5 day break here in mid March. I have been before a while ago, so, I knew it would be ok. I have stayed at a few decent hotels in Benidorm and used to stay at Sandos a lot, but as the food and drink has declined, I have changed to pasters new. ||Check in was fine, nice and fast my friend and I were was allocated rooms 131 and 132 respectively on the first floor at the back. No view, but I did not expect one as, we did not pay for a pool view.| What we did get though, was a lot of unnecessary noise from the staff. Around 0845 the cleaners would be coming in to start work and gather for a smoke and a chat under our balconies. then in the afternoon there was banging and a lot of general noise from workers and staff, whilst we were trying to grab a few hours sleep. had I been staying longer i would have insisted on a room change.|(Note: if you are staying here, make sure you do not get allocated rooms 130 through 135 or 230 through 235. if of course, you like peace and quiet in the day)|Ok, that said,|now for the rest....|The pool area is nice, lots of space, although the bar was not open much as it was still regarded as pre season.|The reception and bar area is very pleasant to sit in, spotless and the staff are friendly and very hard working, nothing is to much trouble and they smile a lot.||The entertainment, i felt was very Spanish themed, which was fine with me, as we went out a lot and we are in Spain after all.||Many of the clientele here are 50 plus, which makes a nice atmosphere and you do not appear to get the drunks, stags and hen parties in.||The location is very central, the old town 5 minutes walk to the right and the Strip 5 minutes walk to the left. the beach 2 minutes walk straight ahead.||The rooms: Well equipped, with a nice balcony, Fridge, Safe (Free to use), nice bathroom with bath and shower, x2 bottles of complimentary water, once during your stay, push button blackout curtains. TV with some English channels, spotlessly clean and well maintained.|Cleaners do the rooms between 0900 (after a smoke and annoying me lol ) and 1500 and always turn up and do a first class job..|Note: There is no kettle or tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Now, if you are like me and like a brew on the balcony each morning you will need to bring your own. |The food: We went half board, Breakfast and Dinner||The Breakfast, i can only say is absolutely phenomenal. I am fortunate enough to stay in many hotels around the world and i admit, this one would take some beating.|There was nothing they did not have that i could see, from fresh juices directly from the fruit and fresh frit too.( some hotels in Benidorm cannot even provide that) to omelettes made to order. Both English and Spanish bacons though to cereals and a huge choice of breads and pastries. You can even grab a glass of prosecco, if you are that way inclined yes, apart from that, the waitresses always smile, say hello and are constantly working to keep you're table clear and the place spotless. I had a sneaky peek in the kitchen and that , along with the staff in there were spotless too. | First class , the best i have ever experienced. 10/10|||The Dinner: same scenario with the cleanliness and staff. the food was fine, although, it was a little repetitive, (chicken skewers twice in three days).|there was not such a huge choice as other hotels, but, it was very nice and very well presented.||Overall, apart from the small noise issue first mentioned, i would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel as a great central base and relaxing stay.|I myself will return no doubt, but not stay in the aforementioned rooms. That being the only reason it lost one star.

Excellent hotel. We have just returned from two weeks there. We are Scottish and there were very few Brits staying in the hotel (which can be a good thing). The other residents were mainly elderly Spanish, so the hotel was very peaceful at night (we're 50 & 51 which was great for us that there were no Stag or Hen parties staying here). We were made to feel extremely welcome and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean (no tea or coffee but that didn't bother us) and the buffet breakfast was very good with enough British choices. The downstairs bar is absolutely beautiful but the drinks were slightly pricey with smaller measures compared to nearby bars, which meant the bar was often quite quiet. All of the evening entertainment was in Spanish which was fair enough but still enjoyable. The pool areas were excellent and fairly quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location which is close to the beach and local bars and restaurants and is a short walk into the Old Town but is far enough away from The Strip so there is no hassle and we felt very safe. Highly recommended and we would happily return. Many Thanks! 💕💕💕

Unfortunately, we didn't check all the reviews before we made the booking. ||||This hotel has quite impressive features, but something in not quite right. Given the star rating and the prices, I think we were well within our rights to have expected something better. ||||Some of the reviews I have read since then, suggest a Spanish leaning. I would have to say that I think there is some truth in this. The food in the restaurant would support this notion. The evening entertainment seems to only be for elderly Spanish guests. We did ask reception for a change of room, but was told that the hotel was fully booked. A Spanish couple, who we became we friendly with, told us they didn't have any difficulty in changing their room. It does make you wonder.||||I am sure that many have enjoyed their stay here, but one can only judge by their own personal experiences. This hotel is very expensive by Benidorm standards. It is my opinion that the food does not match the star rating. The service and attitude in reception is very disappointing. ||||There were some good points about the hotel, but they were obscured by the negative points. ||||Pending the expected reply, I should point out that we are both pensionable age and don't drink. For the record, this is the only the second bad review we have ever posted.
