Ses Estaques Adults Only - Catalonia Hotels

We have just returned from a very relaxing 7 night stay and loved it so much we have booked again for next year, booking direct with the hotel as opposed to a Jet2 package. |Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel has an extremely relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a chilled out holiday. |We were allocated room 1101 which had a walk through wardrobe area, spacious separated bathroom and spacious, airy bedroom. Balcony was also big with 2 soft leatherette tub chairs with a sea view (all rooms have sea views). |Breakfast is served in a separate building in the grounds just a minute’s walk away and overlooks the bay, just beautiful. Great choice of food to suit all tastes, we could have sat there for hours. |The local marina is only a short stroll with plenty of bars and restaurants and the town centre just a few more minutes away. |Cannot recommend this hotel and the staff enough.

Following our first visit in October 2023 we decided to return for a short break a year later. We arrived slightly later in October and both the resort of Santa Eulalia and the hotel were noticeably quieter as they were winding down for the season. |As this was our return visit and both times we'd booked directly with the hotel we were rewarded with an upgrade to a deluxe suite which was fantastic - extremely spacious with 2 balconies and a separate living area with full size dining table. |There is not much to add from our previous review, we found this to be a fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff, a great location (it feels secluded but is actually minutes from the marina) and a comfortable spacious room/suite with great sea views. We had another enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lovely week half board package at the Ses Estaques. My videos of the hotel ( taken with staff permission) and Santa Eulalia are on Youtube for anyone interested.||Beautiful picturesque setting and easy flat walk to harbour and town/ sandy beach. Loved relaxing on the sun beds next to the sea. Plenty of activities going on around the pool if you want them. Evening entertainment very popular!||Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Guests were mainly returning seniors from the UK. Food tasty and enjoyable.|I was told further refurbishment is due for 2025 season and although a bit dated, our “ twin room with partial sea view” 538 was absolutely fine, comfy beds/ pillows, good hot constant shower ( bit of an obstacle course to get in!) nice cold fridge, very modern air con. No digital safe though…small keyed box costs 3 euros per day. Tourist tax 3.30 euros each per day.. ||Transfer from airport - we were first off on arrival and last to be picked up on return. Ibiza airport was busy but ok, they have the new scanners in security so no need to take items out of bags. ||Santa Eulalia was as beautiful as when we were there the same week in 2019, although perhaps a little less vibrant and a few places closed down sadly. Weather very warm with strong winds at times and a fair bit of cloud, nice for walking about but hot enough to be in the water!||We had a great holiday at the Ses Estaques Adults Only and would very happily return.

This hotel is perfectly located, close to all amenities whilst offering beautiful views & a sense of tranquility. ||I was in a little apprehensive about my room before visiting as I was aware from other reviews & images that some rooms & parts of the hotel are dated & in need of renovation. I was very pleased to be given a newly renovated single room which exceeded my expectations. It was spacious & very comfortable with gorgeous views (& sounds) of the lovely Ibizan sea. I enjoyed some gorgeous sunrises from my room which was lovely to wake up to. ||Staff give a warm & friendly welcome & are very helpful providing lots of information & recommendations on things to see & do on your holiday. Food & service in the restaurant was good overall. The restaurant opposite the beach (part of the hotel group) is divine & the food & service are excellent so I would highly recommend a visit there during your stay. I did not join in on any of the activities but the staff leading the entertainment both seemed very friendly & they mixed well with the guests making everyone feel welcome. ||There are several solo travellers so you feel perfectly safe & comfortable in this hotel alone & it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. ||Parts of the hotel are showing signs of age, however I understand it is in the process of being renovated & if the room I was given is anything to go by, I expect it will look wonderful once all parts of the hotel are completed to match the Ibiza vibe. Housekeeping was a little inconsistent but a quiet word with reception ensured anything they missed was addressed so no major issue. ||There are beautiful walks either side of the hotel as well as all the shops & restaurants behind. The bus service is reliable & an affordable way to explore the Ibiza town & other sights. ||Overall a lovely holiday & for location & the friendly staff, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Catalonia Royal ses Estaques is a gem of a hotel in an idyllic location and was just what we were looking for for total peace and quiet. It's small, only 39 rooms, and luxurious without lots of bling. Situated right next to the sea, all the rooms have a front facing view. It's stunning. There are also two pools. One is a rooftop infinity pool and the other is set in the pretty garden area with a poolside bar. The rooms are a good size with a nice balcony with comfy cane bucket chairs and the bed is enormous. Toiletries are high quality. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. The reception staff, Jennifer, Alex and Andrea were exceptional.|Breakfast is served at the hotel's beach restaurant which is around 50m away and is delicious and full of choice. Again the staff are very friendly. We also tried lunch and dinner at the restaurant and weren't disappointed. Room service was also good.|We had a great holiday here and couldn't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday, the Catalonia Royal ses Estaques is ideal.

A really excellent hotel on a beautiful peaceful spot at the sea. The rooms, beds, shower: great! The breakfast is the best we ever had: superb. Service also excellent, the team is great and always want to help you in any way. Good restaurant nearby. Only WiFi isn't great but that didn't bother us much. We will definitely come back next year.

This was a return visit for us. Staff are amazing. They can’t do enough. Francis on reception was so helpful when we wanted to change rooms. No fuss made. Christian is always around to chat to and help with anything. Dulce was just lovely the way she looked after our room with her friendliness and cheerful smile. Everywhere is exceptionally clean. All the restaurant waiters and waitresses are so busy keeping the tables cleared but still have time to chat to you. Pablo the chef’s food was delicious and plentiful. |Dari, entertainment manager is adorable. Dancing, Pilates, yoga, Pétanque, aquarobics he does the lot with so much energy and a huge smile. |Jose was rather lazy, just working out his contract I felt. |The setting is amazing. Some mornings work started at marina before 8 and it was a bit noisy but not too intrusive|We will be booking again.

This is a good standard 4star hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The dining room was well laid out with large tables but with plenty of room to move about. The food was some of the best for choice that we have had and all well displayed. There was even a small section dedicated to gluten free. The garden and pool areas were well kept and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We only had a few small problems with our room 223. We are a couple in our eighties and did not arrive until 10pm so did not see much until the following morning.We found that we did not have much of a view as we looked out over a raised flat roof.which was in poor condition. There was also a 12 inch step up to the balcony which was difficult for us with nothing to hold on to. We olso asked for a bath but had to get into the bath to turn on taps and put plug in due to a large fixed shower screen. I am sure that if we had mentioned the above to staff we would have been moved to a better room but we could not face repacking everything as we were only staying one week and only intending to sleep in the room. |Another problem that we and many people had was poor wi.fi. My phone was continually losing connection and having to sign in again. I was unable to connect my notebook at all. Staff were also unable to solve but apparently many people have this problem. |Although we have had a moan these were very small problems and would rate this hotel highly .It is also in a good position near the end of the prom.|We would be happy to return.
