Šestá Větev

My wife and I fell in love with Šestá Větev, a charming, retro(ish) coffee shop near downtown Brno. Although it seems to attract a younger crowd, we always feel very comfortable there. The staff is incredibly friendly, and we've often found ourselves engaged in surprising and interesting conversations with some of them, particularly Klára. The coffee shop features two large windows that offer a perfect view of the bustling street outside. If you are lucky, you can snag a small table inside one of those windows and be ever close to the happenings outside. Whether you are alone, needing some time to think while enjoying a cup of coffee, or with a friend to chit-chat about stuff, this is a great place to try. As a Texan from Houston, I find it to be a fascinating spot.

Retro look, retro feel, handmade foodbites to die for, nice selection of whiskey and rum choices .. Take a date, bring a mate, get some quality time away from the normal tourists spots.. 😊

Nice hipster looking place with a decent coffee and great home made lemonades. Small dishes available, gluten-free options of dining. Coffee to take away available. Good place for work or for a drink in the evening. Location is in the city centre with a view through the park, which you will appreciate mostly in spring or summer.

Great place for every time of the day...you find here breakfast, lunch, good coffee of course and drinks too. Drinks to try: charcoal, beatroot and matcha latte You can pay with credit card

I don't like homemade Limonade here. Rest is perfect. Vegan / Vegetarian food options. Perfect red Spanish wine. Nice staff. Interier is perfect, wood everywhere.

Absolutely charming. It is kind of unassuming from outside, but inside it is bursting with retro charm. All personal is extremely nice. Coffee is amazing, done obviously by people who know what are they doing. Highly reccommend even for go to coffee.

Amazing hipster looking café. Great coffee selection and also great looks. Make sure to try the cinnamon syrup cappuccino. Prices are very acceptable.

A great café with a retro feel, interior is fitted with wood and metal which is very pleasantly combined. The place is not too spacious, but rather cozy. The coffee is great. They also have a selection of cakes and something for a small bite, too. The windows point towards the park, which can seasonally be a very pleasant view. Great atmosphere, close to the center, but not easily found by tourists. Give it a try.
