We recently stayed at Hotel Seth Port Mahón in July and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is ideal; peaceful and slightly elevated in the prime location on the headland, with beautiful views over the harbour and an easy walk into the town centre. It’s a calm and restorative place to stay, and we felt genuinely welcomed by the friendly, professional staff at the hotel.||The welcome drinks on arrival were a lovely surprise: a small gesture, that always goes a long way to making you feel welcomed. It immediately set the tone for a thoughtful and relaxing stay. We were also really pleased to find a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room - which are amenities that are surprisingly rare abroad. We were able to buy milk from the local supermarket without difficulty.||The hotel is elegant and well-kept, with spacious rooms, a lovely terrace, and a real sense of tranquillity. We especially appreciated the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at dinner - evening meals in the serene dining room were a highlight of our stay. Breakfasts were a lot busier, but also impressive - with a lovely selection of local delicacies included in the pastries section, which made it very memorable.||There are just a few small touches that could elevate the experience even further. The large outdoor planters on the first floor are currently empty - adding colourful flowers like geraniums would breathe new life into the hotel. Fresh flowers in the lobby would also be a lovely, welcoming addition. Lastly, while the swimming pool is well-sized and pleasant, it could benefit from a deep clean or power-hosing / regrouting to address the visible black mould between tiles.||Overall, this is a lovely, peaceful hotel in a stunning setting - and just a few enhancements would make it truly exceptional. We’d absolutely stay again and would like to thank the manager and entire team for a very memorable and comfortable stay. We would recommend to others.

Wish I had a balcony. That would have been great. The room we had was fine. The beds . Best hotel beds I have had in a very long time. The shower was great. One of these big square head showers. The air conditioning was powerful. I couldn't figure out how to control it so I ended up waking up a few times through the night to cold. Anyway I worked around it. To re cap accommodation was very good. Just wish I had booked a balcony. Food was very good. Staff very nice and helpful.

This is the fourth time going to this hotel, and it never fails to please us. Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. |The buffet breakfast is amazing and the buffett meals are very good too.|Nice pool with lunch time meals. It is a 20minute stroll into town. lots of nice restaurants in the port. |We will be back.|The Daniels Family

I believe this hotels greatest attribute is it's location, with its view of the harbour and many good restaurants nearby. Our room was a 'superior room with balcony'. The room was adequate, with an excellent bathroom/shower. The balcony, however, was a disappointment as we were in a courtyard and overlooked, or were overlooked by, other balconies. I found this a little intrusive. Also, I was surprised that use of the rooms safe deposit box entailed an extra charge. Should this not be included in the room price?|The food was ok, but not exceptional. The guys working the bar/ food tables were good and friendly where possible, but they were working their socks off ( I did wonder if they were short of staff or if they run on minimum numbers) . The reception staff were OK apart from when I returned my pool towels to retrieve my deposit, the guy on reception at that time was clearly irritated that I'd disturbed him and was in fact quite surly. |All in all, this is a decent enough hotel but, as I say, it's main strength is it's location. Will we return? Probably not.

Only here one night and I'm impressed. Very quiet reception on arrival as it is apparently most of the time. Few kids but not exclusive adult only. The place is spotless. No charge for safe deposit box, just small deposit for key. The room air-conditioning is magical, again no charge. Small balcony overlooking the bay so stunning views. Beds are comfortable, small fridge, hair dryer, and a great shower. TV with a few English speaking channels . Looking forward to our first breakfast. Shops and restaurants close by. This is just lovely.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. We are made to feel so welcome and at home every time we visit. I would recommend paying a bit more for a suite or junior suite on the front of the hotel for the spectacular views of the harbour and marina. It’s worth every penny!

Very clean, nice decor rooms, fabulous paintings from a local artist in lobby. A great location next to stunning Harbour and a shirt walk to the historic part of Mahon. Very friendly staff, extremely attentive and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and bed was nice, room a little small. Very quiet as off season,so no buffet at dinner, but a fixed menu, which has became a little bland after a few days, not a huge amount of variation in food, would have been nice to have had a salad bar personally. Overall really lovely hotel, the staff made it a really nice experience. Thank you !

Wonderful. The meals were great, especially the breakfasts. Our room with terrace was spacious and comfortable, with a fine view of the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful, as were the guests. A selection of nearby cafes at the harbour for lunchtime meals.
