We stay at this excellent hotel twice a year in transit and cannot recommend it enough. It is perfectly located with stunning views. The rooms are immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The staff are charming and helpful, especially the front of house staff - a special shout out to Sylvia and Antonio - for whom no task is too much. Breakfast is generous and beautifully presented. Dinner was equally delicious with a good variety of dishes to choose from. A shout out to Vicente, our cheerful waiter.|We can’t wait to return next year.|Thank you to all the staff.

We visited Sethotel Port Mahón in august 2025. Because we booked through another website we experienced some issues regarding the payment. Luckily, the team was prepared right away to resolve this issue. Once we arrived, we were stunned by the view of this hotel, which directly overlooks the sea. The breakfast / lunch / dinner options were amazing, so many choices (ranging from vegan, to fish and meat) and the food was always freshly prepared. The room has everything you need, especially the AC came in clutch as we weren’t used to such great weather. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Our special thanks go to the two waiters; Mario and Diego. They made our stay amazing, were always ready to help and even took the extra mile by being down for a chat and a laugh. With pain in our hearts we had to say goodbye to them, and all of the staff. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is 100000% worth your money. Thank you Sethotel!!!

Really nice hotel in a lovely location overlooking the natural harbour. All of the staff, without exception, are friendly and curtious. Happily letting me indulge in my attempts at speaking Spanish. The food, which is buffet style for breakfast and evening meal was spot on. Every evening the Chef was more than happy to explain which dishes were gluten free, and there was sufficient, including some nice puddings. No rowdy guests, always a sunbed available. Would not hesitate to come back

We stayed in room 131. From entering the hotel finding our room was ready made a great start to the holiday. The lady at check in was exceptional and set the very high standard, and all other staff met the same very high standard. Our room was spotless and the lady who cleaned our room needs a special mention. The size and location of the hotel made it ideal for couples. with easy access into town via pavement over looking the harbour. Equally the lower path along the harbour side was a great walk. This hotel managed the perfect balance between friendliness and professionally. Cannot find fault ideal location and great value for money.

Wish I had a balcony. That would have been great. The room we had was fine. The beds . Best hotel beds I have had in a very long time. The shower was great. One of these big square head showers. The air conditioning was powerful. I couldn't figure out how to control it so I ended up waking up a few times through the night to cold. Anyway I worked around it. To re cap accommodation was very good. Just wish I had booked a balcony. Food was very good. Staff very nice and helpful.

This was our 2nd visit to Hotel Port Mahon & another really enjoyable one. We rebooked mainly because it’s such an easy place to stay with very little schlepping about, unlike some of the bigger hotels that take an age to get from one end to the other. This is just a great place for recharging your batteries as although it’s so near Mahon, it’s a really quiet & tranquil place. Absolutely gorgeous views from the terrace & pool, great to slip down to the Port if you want something a bit livelier & easy to get into Mahon. As we have friends living on the island we’ve been lucky enough to have been taken all over & the location of this hotel really is hard to beat! Mahon centre is lovely & walkable for most and with the lifts at either end of the harbour, it makes it more accessible for people with more limited mobility. Although, not particularly flashy, this place is quietly comfortable, with lovely staff and a restful ambience. Sunbeds are easy to come by, the pool scene is so restful and quiet and overall the food is pretty good. We actually had the pool to ourselves on several occasions! On both our visits we’ve found the rooms to be really pleasant, with good storage, a useful mini fridge, tea & coffee and comfy beds! The cleaning staff really are outstanding and kept our room immaculate! I can’t deny that having paid extra for a ‘superior with balcony’ we were a little disappointed to be facing inwards over the garden with a very small balcony, especially as last year we were just in a ‘twin with balcony’ but had a seaward view across the garden. However, I don’t think this is particularly the hotel’s fault, but more dependent on which travel company you book with - sea view rooms seem to be hard to come by (unless you can afford a suite!) but if you can get one, the view is spectacular (I had a little, longing peek when they were being cleaned!) All the staff here are lovely, but special mention to the charming Diego, who remembered us from last year and always looked after us. Just a delightful stay which flew by far too quickly! I’m sure we will return - hopefully we might manage a sea view next time!

We stayed for a week at this hotel in a basic room for me, my wife and our nine year old daughter. I have to say, I cannot find fault with the hotel at all. It’s good value for money, the rooms are basic (ours was anyway) but very clean. The staff at the hotel are excellent and could not be more helpful and kind. The hotel is well located if you want to access the harbour and town of Mahon but you want something a little more quiet. It’s not a beach hotel, but it’s a lovely place for relaxing by the pool with a cold pomada. We really enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to stay there again. Whilst we were in Menorca, we did a few trips: |The toot toot train around town - very good for giving you a comfortable tour of the town to get your bearings.|The one hour boat tour of the harbour- we loved this. The views and history is amazing.|The Land Rover off road trip to the lighthouse and cheese farm. - The guides were both into their history and wildlife so this was a great trip to see some Roman graves, the lighthouse and a lovely cheese farm. I’d recommend this. |The seven hour boat tour around the north of the island. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of this trip probably because I’m a grumpy old bloke. Firstly, they played lots of loud music (why isn’t the sound of the sea enough) and we went to two swimming spots. The first one was rammed with people. And there were a few noising kids smoking like chimneys. The second swim stop was better but there were so many boats moored up that it felt a bit like swimming next to an NCP car park for boats. A good example of how a place can become a victim of its own success. The scenery from the boat was nice though. |The staff at the hotel are very knowledgeable and are happy to recommend things to do. We also hired a car for a day a visited Sant Thomas which is touristy but nice, Mont Toro which was worth the drive for the amazing views, and Fornells which was obviously once a nice fishing village which has now been taken over by holiday villa owners. The sea food restaurants are worth the trip though even if they are expensive (82 euros for a lobster stew is bit steep I think) it was delicious though. .

As a regular visitor to menorca this was our first time in Mahon and at the Seth port hotel. Only ten mins from airport the hotel check in was fast and really friendly. 10 euro deposit that’s returned for safety deposit box and most guests need to leave a deposit for a pool towel but we had a junior suite so they are in the room. The junior suite is beautiful. Large the most powerful air con I have ever known. Incredibly clean and stunning view across the harbour. Beds were so comfy. Lovely large bathroom with the most amazing smelling shower gel. So guests can opt for half board where they have a buffet with some cooking stations or dine a la carte on the terrace. We like to explore so just did bed and breakfast. Le terraza restaurant which is the al la carte is great but more like a posh snack bar Food is very good though. Breakfast is also buffet breakfast but has everything you could need. |To get to the harbour there is a lift just outside the hotel but it broke day two so each harbour trip to use the harbour restaurants did involve a rather annoying 75 step treck back to the hotel. Some great restaurants we tried. El rais, latitude 40 degrees, Sallida and the cardoman Indian. A walk into Mahon is about twenty mins or a bit longer by the harbour but that has a lovely modern lift back up to the old town. We also did a trip to isle de rei by boat through Hauser and worth and ate at the cantina. An expensive but lovely restaurant on the island which has a museum and art gallery. Anyhow back to the hotel all the staff are lovely and a particular thanks to Mario one of the waiters who is just so charming and always a joy to talk to. The swimming pool has more than enough beds and is lovely and quiet. All in all a charming and lovely hotel. Oh and has entertainment three times a week and we saw a singer Nathan Daniels who I have to say was incredible. Soul singer and as good as many top performers. Thanks Seth port. Great holiday
