Very clean, nice decor rooms, fabulous paintings from a local artist in lobby. A great location next to stunning Harbour and a shirt walk to the historic part of Mahon. Very friendly staff, extremely attentive and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and bed was nice, room a little small. Very quiet as off season,so no buffet at dinner, but a fixed menu, which has became a little bland after a few days, not a huge amount of variation in food, would have been nice to have had a salad bar personally. Overall really lovely hotel, the staff made it a really nice experience. Thank you !

We had another excellent stay at the Port Mahon, our first since the recent refresh / light refurbishment. The hotel is spacious and roomy, and the update to the rooms with new bathrooms, smart TVs etc. has helped to modernise it. ||We had a standard double room with a balcony - this was a little compact with a corner balcony on the outside which was fine for us, but you might need to pack light. The housekeeping staff were great even re-arranging our teddy bears suitably!||The breakfast offers a very good selection that should cater to all tastes, once of us is Coeliac / gluten free and managed fine, although you might need to bring your own GF bread. There is a good hot selection and all the usual cold items plus some local pastries etc. which is nice. There is a pancake and omelette bar where you can have these items cooked to order which is a nice extra touch.||We tried dinner one night as the weather wasn't great - this was pretty good value buffet with a good selection and steak / fish could be grilled to order. There is a good tapas-based lunch menu served in the bar / terrace.||The staff are attentive and always helpful, with the outside areas very tidy and no issue with sunbeds etc. most of the time. The pool was consistently cold but we had a slightly unlucky week weather-wise.||The hotel is around 15 walk from the city centre inland, or half an hour via the Port, there are bus options very nearby as well into the centre or over to Es Castell if you walk 5 minutes or so up to the stop at Sinia des Muret. Free parking for a hire car in the streets around isn't usually a problem. It is a sedate locale that suits independent travellers ||Thanks to the team for another great stay.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the hotel Seth Port Mahon, having visited previously in 2021. We booked a junior suite with terrace both of which were very spacious, clean and well-furnished. The staff were truly excellent in every part of the hotel - so helpful and courteous. They really took care of us. It was my husband's birthday during the stay and a half-bottle of cava and a card from the hotel was left on our return to the room that day which was a nice touch. We loved the breakfast in the morning. It was nice to have omelettes cooked every day - something that we didn't have previously probably due to COVID restrictions. The chef had a dry sense of humour which we appreciated. The hotel is very well-situated being about a 15 minute walk along the promenade to Mahon. We also walked to Es Castell one day and got a bus from the station to Cuitadella on the other side of the island. We will certainly be back!

We stayed for four nights last week and enjoyed it very much. We were in a Junior Suite with a harbour view and a large comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was well appointed with a walk in shower and the air conditioning was very quiet and efficient. The hotel supplied a bottle of water, a packet of crisps, two bottles of lager and two bottles of fanta and there was also tea and coffee available (but no milk!)||Buffet breakfast and evening meals were comprehensive with a good selection of hot and cold food which was readily replenished.||The only complaint as far as we were concerned was the late start of dinner which was 7:30 and a bit late for our liking. ||The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool and we would recommend this hotel.

We have just come back from a lovely week staying at this hotel. All of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful! From the reception team, to the restaurant staff and cleaners. The hotel was clean, the food was good and the location, for us was perfect. Approx 10 minutes by car to the airport, approx 20-25 minute walk to the centre. The view from our room was just stunning! This was one of the suite rooms, highly recommend.

Stayed here for a week mid August and just got round to writing this review. ||We were the only two checking in and were delighted to find our room was ready at 11 am as we fully expected to have to wait for a few hours. Even more delighted to be told we had a sea view. We were at the back of the hotel but the view of the harbour was lovely. I would definitely pay for a sea view room at the front if I came back. ||The room was very good. Quite spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and lovely walk in shower. Tv, mini fridge, safe (for a fee), plenty of storage and excellent air con. ||I have to say that we had the most relaxed dining experience we’ve ever had in this hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and there was non of the jostling and queuing that we’ve had in other places. Breakfast was a bit busier but evening meal was very chilled. Couldn’t fault the food. All the staff we encountered in the hotel were friendly and helpful. ||They do not take cash at the bar in the hotel but you can just charge to your room and pay by cash or card at reception when you check out. |The drinks prices were about the same as in town and I enjoyed having a quiet drink there. We found that the bars in town were absolutely rammed and had trouble finding seats some nights so the hotel bar was better in my opinion. ||The marina is just at the bottom of the steps over the road and it’s lovely to have a wander along in the evenings looking at all the yachts. Town is a fair hike, not a few minutes as others have suggested, so wear comfy shoes. But it’s worth the walk to the old town. Gorgeous. ||The pool was lovely and you could always get a bed with plenty of umbrellas available. ||We had a lovely stay here, really like Mahon and I was sad to leave.

The location of this hotel and the exceptional efficiency and friendliness of staff provided a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing and stress-free 2 weeks. (Not the place if you 're looking for a lively time!) The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. Love this place so much have already booked for next year.

Super friendly hotel staff. Hotel rooms are being modernised but ours hadn’t been yet but we had a beautiful view of the marina. Beds were comfy, room was clean but furniture tired and dated. Breakfast was great, always plenty of fruit, cereal, cooked breakfast items with additional eggs/ pancakes cooked to order. Evening menu varied and good quality.|Great location being close to the marina and harbour although there are lots of steps down to it. However, a few minutes walk there is a lift directly down to the marina. 20 minute walk along the marina and harbour with lots of bars and restaurants along the way. Being October when we visited quite a few were closing for end of season. By the harbour, where the cruise ships moor up, there is another lift taking you up to the town centre with lots more shops, bars, restaurants and market. Overall a beautiful place that is very clean, friendly and felt safe. |Highly recommended.
