We recently stayed at Hotel Seth Port Mahón in July and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is ideal; peaceful and slightly elevated in the prime location on the headland, with beautiful views over the harbour and an easy walk into the town centre. It’s a calm and restorative place to stay, and we felt genuinely welcomed by the friendly, professional staff at the hotel.||The welcome drinks on arrival were a lovely surprise: a small gesture, that always goes a long way to making you feel welcomed. It immediately set the tone for a thoughtful and relaxing stay. We were also really pleased to find a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room - which are amenities that are surprisingly rare abroad. We were able to buy milk from the local supermarket without difficulty.||The hotel is elegant and well-kept, with spacious rooms, a lovely terrace, and a real sense of tranquillity. We especially appreciated the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at dinner - evening meals in the serene dining room were a highlight of our stay. Breakfasts were a lot busier, but also impressive - with a lovely selection of local delicacies included in the pastries section, which made it very memorable.||There are just a few small touches that could elevate the experience even further. The large outdoor planters on the first floor are currently empty - adding colourful flowers like geraniums would breathe new life into the hotel. Fresh flowers in the lobby would also be a lovely, welcoming addition. Lastly, while the swimming pool is well-sized and pleasant, it could benefit from a deep clean or power-hosing / regrouting to address the visible black mould between tiles.||Overall, this is a lovely, peaceful hotel in a stunning setting - and just a few enhancements would make it truly exceptional. We’d absolutely stay again and would like to thank the manager and entire team for a very memorable and comfortable stay. We would recommend to others.
