Our friends, Jo and Mark, brought us here for our Anniversary. We came for brunch and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. My Hubby started with the "Tomato Gazpacho". I usually don't like cold soup, and I half expected it to taste like uncooked garden maranara! This was so tasty and sweet, i definitely could have eaten an entire bowl myself.
Mark ordered the "Neopolitan Morning" with "Dad's Homefries" and a "Wolferton's" muffin. (see photo) Can I just say that I've heard about these muffins for years and they are delish! All we heard from Mark were happy sounds so I think it's safe to report that he loved his meal.
Hubby and Jo, both ordered the "Smoked Salmon Platter", Wolferton's Muffin (an amazing english muffin), ricotta, capers, roma tomato, red onion and a roasted grapefruit.(See photo) The unanimous consensus was that everything tasted so good and the flavors and textures complimented each other well.
My meal was the "Special Frittata". (See photo) A light egg frittata, sprinkled to perfection with roasted red peppers, sweet corn, goat cheese and scallions. I'm going to try and recreate it. The ingredients were balanced so perfectly, every bite was a delight.
The coffee and cappuccino were delicious. And finally, the four of us shared "Terry's White Chocolate Panna Cotta" topped with fresh berries and a crumbled Amaretto Cookie. The perfect end to a perfect meal.
Thank you Will (our server) and the entire staff for your guidance and service.
Don't put off coming to Sette Luna!
