Well situated in the heart of Helsinki, the oldest hotel in Finland, although original location not the current one. Lovely old building. Amazing atmosphere. Rooms are a very comfortable and the restaurant serves the most amazing food. I highly recommend their fish dishes. Easy access to the rest of the city, the airport and the rest of Finland as the central train station is directly opposite.

Nice old architecture but need of renovation. Room was clean but small. Relatively good view from the highest floor room windows. The elevator was old and slow, much faster to take the stairs. Good location in the center of the city but expensive parking, 36€ in the garage. Bad breakfast.

Right in front of the Helsinki railway station so its very convenient for travelling as well as access to lots of restaurants and shops around Helsinki city centre. The hotel itself was established in the 1800s so has a rich history. Buffet breakfast is decent and the staff are lovely.

A hotel with an excellent location just next to the main railway station of Helsinki. The best shops just around the corner. However the rooms are not in an excellent condition and the floor on my room would need some renovation. There is no privacy in the rooms as you can easily hear the discussion and the words in the rooms next to your room. The breakfast could have wider selection when compared to other Scandic hotels.

Where better to stay when visiting Helsinki? This charming unique Finish hotel was the perfect spot to spend a couple of days. Close to the Market, Islands, Parks and many many excellent restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable, no AC but even in July/August the nights were cool. To get you started in the morning, the breakfast buffet is a good choice.

Historic hotel, lovely staff (a common theme in Finland). Room was quite small although overlooked the railway station. Room was hot but the windows had to be kept closed overnight due to general city noise. No tea / coffee making facilities were available in the room. The hotel bar was closed however there are numerous alternatives within a short walk.

This could be so much more. As many hotels in Finland, this is quite run down and tired. The location is good and with a refurbish, this could be a really cool hotel. It was dirty and really worn down, ad to all the small things that was missing in the room like no DND sign, no alcohol in the mini bar and so on and so on. The light switch just fell of, the walls was dirty and almost every single surface was damaged. Staff was really nice, they get both the stars.

I was very unhappy with my stay at Hotel Seurahuone this time. I go this hotel several times a year. But regular customer do not seem to be appreciated at all. Each time I have to fill in the full customer information. Customer friendly hotels check each booking to find out if the customer is a returning one and them welcome him/her with a smile and the words: "Great to see you AGAIN!" When I tried to go to breakfast this morning, during about 15 minutes, there was no seat available. Very funny! And when I arrive tonight the room was not made (and I did NOT put any sign saying so on my door. So Hotel Seurahuone stands for VERY LOW service quality! Sad!
