Our second time atSeven Glaciers and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. The views are absolutely stunning on the way up and immediately make you feel like you’re somewhere special, but what really stands out is how well the food and service live up to the setting, a rare gem.
we were 4 and had the tomahawk for the meat course, (it's a tasting menu), which was the clear highlight of the meal. It was beautifully presented and served with fingerling potatoes simple, comforting, and exactly what the steak needed. The tomahawk itself had a great sear and deep flavor, and while it’s an indulgent dish, it felt thoughtfully executed rather than overdone. It’s the kind of plate that invites you to slow down and enjoy every bite.
The fish course, which was good overall, though it came out just a tad overcooked. It didn’t ruin the dish by any means, but it was noticeable, especially given the high standard the rest of the meal set.
Service throughout the evening was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without feeling stiff or rehearsed.
Desserts were a mousse of chocolate shaped like a round stone, and another that had semifreddo made out of olive oil and rosemary, along with a mandaring made into a gel, who knew..
All in all, Seven Glaciers delivers refined dining in a spectacular location. Even with a small miss on the fish, the experience was excellent, and the tomahawk with fingerling potatoes alone is worth the visit. This is a place you leave already thinking about coming back. We are locals and brought friends along from the lower 48 and they loved it!
