if looks are deceiving then this cafe rates very highly masquerading as a high-end cafe lots of staff running around behind each other. I don't think any of them new what they were doing. A person taking the orders at the till was less than helpful she certainly didn't deserve to be in her position or in the hospitality industry whatsoever. I waited in line to have them to take my order and after waiting for 5 other people to be served before me and then she decided to serve me only because I was the last person standing. I tried I tried to order two drinks one coffee one milkshake and a six point toasted sandwich. The discussion that took place over the 6 point sandwich we don't do that here ECT. Was a master class on how important they were and the indignity of asking for anything different was not happing in the their establishment. Rather than continue the one-sided conversation I cancelled the four point sandwich. Paid the bill by swiping the card went back to the table waited 25 minutes the coffee turned up no milk shake. Questioned waitress she disappeared came back 10 minutes later appolagised. Later I checked the charge and found I had only been charged $6.10. Another Launceston business masquerading in the hospitality space . The most sad thing is they believe their fantastic. The LGH cafe beats this chook house hands down .

I really enjoyed the coffee here, and the portion size for a brekkie bowl is really nice.

Would definitely recommend a visit here! We loved our breakfast! Everything was amazing! Breakfasts were all delicious, all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Coffee was the best we've had on our trip around Tassie! Service was fantastic by all staff, thanks!

The staff is very friendly, the location is also nice. I had the vegan breakfast which tasted good! It would be nice if it would be possible next time to add tofu scramble or to get a vegan sweet after but without chocolate - but you can get a vegan brownie with beeries and I saw a vegan energy ball.

We feel at home! We are regulars and it is always a pleasant experience. Coffee is always spot on and the people who works here are the so very soul of these beautiful place. We love 7M’s new location.

Overall, I’d rate the experience as average at best. Customer service was friendly, polite, and well-mannered, but there were some missing elements—such as not providing table water—which made the experience feel incomplete. I would also note that the café isn’t kid-friendly. There’s a strict “time limit” policy for those only having coffee and snacks, which is understandable given the tiny, cramped space filled with as many tables as possible to maximize turnover. However, it does make the atmosphere feel rushed and uncomfortable. As for the food, the haloumi was disappointing, with undercooked “poached eggs” that were overcooked. The arancini balls lacked flavor and came in very small portions, leaving them underwhelming. All in all, while service was pleasant, the food quality and overall experience didn’t live up to expectations.
