I just moved to Austin from NYC and the truck with all of my clothes / furniture has still not arrived. In just a week of being here I had an unexpected interview come my way and I needed an outfit fast! I'm also 18 weeks pregnant and it's 90 degrees here so I knew I needed a polished yet not-so fitted dress. When I saw my new house was by the Sezanne pop up, it was the first store I ran to for help! I could not WAIT to finally see the products off line - the flowy dresses also looked perfect for a baby bump! I was greeted immediately upon walking in - and once explaining that I was pregnant and looking for a dress for a big interview, the associate started pulling items she thought would be great and began a fitting room. Once she went to the back to get more options, I continued to browse and two other associates approached me in such a warm and helpful way! Now I felt like the whole team was helping me!! If I had it my way - I would have just bought accessories because I don't like spending too much money on clothes while pregnant. Once I started trying on, almost every flowy dress (even in smallest sizes) were HUGE on me - I'm 5'4 so I think the fit models for Sezanne must be a lo taller. I was feeling discouraged, but was so grateful to the team and was still obsessed with the quality of the brand. The team couldn't have been more supportive trying to see what else they had without being too pushy - just genuinely helping to see what else they had in stock that would work. At the very end, someone brought me the Elvina dress in size 34 and it not only came together so chic and polished, but also covered the bump perfectly in a professional & feminine way!! I could absolutely wear this again when not pregnant which is the best part. I styled it with the Amandine shoes (which I loved) and if I had more $$ to spend, I would have also bought the Justine bag. Will have to go back for it once I get this job!
