What to Pack for Paris: A Complete Checklist

"A contemporary French fashion label founded by Morgane Sézalory that emphasizes timeless, wearable pieces marrying comfort and style—ideal for a city where people walk everywhere. The brand’s versatile staples are highlighted by an oversized Max Shirt (styled open over denim, over a dress, or tucked with sandals) that accommodates unpredictable weather, the Gaspard cardigan (which can be worn forward or backwards), and the Judith low sandals, praised for repeated, long-lasting wear. Overall, the collection is designed to simplify capsule packing while adding a distinctive Parisian flair." - Annie Gabillet Annie Gabillet Annie Gabillet is a seasoned traveler and editor. This is such a charming little women’s boutique. The clothing is made with high-quality materials—mostly cotton and linen—so everything feels soft, breathable, and super comfortable to wear. What I love most is that the store has so much space to explore. It’s not just about shopping, it’s about discovering little treasures tucked around each corner. I spent the whole afternoon here with my girlfriends and we had the best time browsing, trying things on, and just enjoying the cozy atmosphere. It was such a lovely experience!

The staff was lovely and super helpful - very willing to assist and check for items that may not be on the floor. The selection of items was of course not wholly represent of what is available online, but what was out included some really lovely items from recent drops. The prices all matched online but a tip for if you would like a tote, grab one of their lifestyle care products near the registers. I hope they open a permanent location close by!

I am beyond thrilled that Sezane has a location so close to me now! I've been one of their online shoppers for a while, and when I found out that they had a pop-up location right in DC I knew I had to go check it out. I was very happy that I visited when their fall collection was out, as I had been eyeing a couple of pieces that I wanted to buy but wanted to see in person first. Although it is a smaller inventory store they have a good selection of both classics and new pieces, including clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry (for women only). The decor was so cute and every single staff member was very friendly and helpful. I hope this location stays here permanently as I'll be making a few more trips to add a few more of their pieces to my wardrobe!

Clothes were lovely but the staff were cold and downright rude. This was the last weekend they were open. No one was being greeted and employees were whispering gossip/complaints. Took my money to Anthro and Reformation.

Such a cute store! Loved all the displays. Sales associates were helpful, answering my questions and providing advice about fit and style. So sad that the pop-up store is closing.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the store was mobbed. This was my first trip to Sezane, and I wanted to try on a sweater I saw on-line. If I hadn't had a specific objective, I probably would've walked out, but I'm glad I didn't. The staff was friendly and attentive, despite the crowds. I bought the sweater and a small handbag. Unfortunately, this pop-up is closing in May because that's when their lease ends. Hopefully, Sezane finds another space, as the store is a great addition to the selection in Georgetown.

Went to check out the store on 12/28/24 around 5-6PM with my sister who shared my excitement for our very first trip. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by an African American associate. She was personable and genuine! However when we requested assistance at the sweater counter- there were 3 young white women. The one who "assisted us", a brunette with long hair, gave subpar service. She made no attempt to make a sale, kept telling us that sizes were out of stock and literally threw the sweaters down on the glass counter after I made 3 requests to see an item, a white sweater with embroidery. There were 2 other associates at the counter along with the brunette with long hair who were heavily engaged in personal conversation +/- banter. The merchandise selection was well curated but the service at the sweater counter was horrible! Management should address and correct this ASAP!

I think I read a review on here that said something like, “if you’re thinking about visiting their pop-up, just do it!” And I’m so glad I did. I went on a Thursday morning, and I had no wait times, and was quickly helped at the knitwear. I got advice on fit and sizing, and they pulled other color options for me to try. Wonderful experience, merci beaucoup! If you’re thinking about going - just go!

Yelp
Updating my review to add my experience to actually getting to shop in the store. I went to visit Sezane in Georgetown and thankfully this time the store had power and was open. It was a Saturday afternoon and there was a small queue to get into the store. I didn't have to wait long before I was let in. The store is small but very cute and lovely. I love the decor and how the items were set up boutique style. I also love the touches of homage to Sezane in the city of Washington D.C area. I enjoyed browsing the items, but the selection is very limited FYI. I hope this location remains permanently.

Yelp
Such a beautiful in-store experience for this brand. The staff was lovely and super helpful - very willing to assist and check for items that may not be on the floor. Yelp
I absolutely adore this pop-up and hope that they remain here permanently! The staff are always nice, the selection is limited but there's always something you can try on for size. I love Sezane as a brand and it feels perfect that there is a location in Georgetown! Pleas don't leave!
