"One of the most beloved Vietnamese eateries in Saigon, SH Garden has lovely views of a pretty part of the city, but it has earned its following with dishes that celebrate the flavors of all the country's regions, from north to south. Situated on the rooftop of an old colonial edifice at the intersection of Nguyen Hue and Le Loi streets, around the corner from the Opera House, it surveys a pretty part of the city with plenty of other colonial buildings nearby. Named for its owners Son and Ha, the restaurant doesn't compete with the higher-price-point options in the city and instead serves good old mom-style cooking."

Highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant that offers authentic dishes set in a pleasant tranquil atmosphere. A water garden greets you at the entrance with the option to dine outside around the water features or indoors inside a villa. Tastefully decorated with a grand piano where live performances make for nice background live music setting as you enjoy your meal. Menu had wide variety of dishes. I recommend the Iberico ham which was succulent and packed with flavour. Wagyu beef on hot plate was also mouth watering. Large portions, delicious and satisfying. Prices on the expensive side but worth it considering the quality and taste of the dishes, level of service and atmosphere. Parking is limited.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at SH Garden, and I can’t say enough about how fantastic the experience was! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles from the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Their genuine hospitality truly set the tone for the evening. Now, let’s talk about the food! The grilled fish was a standout—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with a delightful smoky flavor that paired beautifully with the accompanying sauces. The Iberico pork in Northwest style was another highlight; the tenderness and rich flavor were simply unmatched. Each bite was a celebration of culinary artistry! The southern Vietnamese spring rolls were fresh and vibrant, bursting with flavor and crunch. They were the perfect starter to whet our appetites and set the stage for the main dishes. One of the things I appreciated most about SH Garden was the incredible variety of food choices available. Whether you’re in the mood for something traditional or looking to try something new, there’s truly something for everyone. The diverse menu reflects the rich culinary heritage of Vietnam, and it’s hard to choose just one favorite! Adding to the delightful atmosphere was the soothing sound of traditional Vietnamese music playing in the background. It created an inviting and relaxing environment, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, SH Garden is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal. The combination of delicious food, outstanding service, and a warm ambiance makes it a must-visit spot. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their diverse offerings! 🌟

Spring rolls and prawns were good, even if the mayonnaise and the sauce covered too much the delicate flavor of the main ingredients. The minced meat was delicious (Marinated beef sirloin grilled on clay tile served with bread). Refined and warm environment, but with a couple of flaws: some strange smell inside, not sure if coming from the kitchen or the air conditioning; chairs that cannot slide under the table, so position for eating is not very comfortable. Attentive staff.

Very good dining experience exproong this restaurant. The relaxing natural environment, live guitar music, friendly staff guide on how to eat the bamboo shape fish cake, good appetizer of pomelo salad, unique pinkish lotus rice, all are just nice at right place. Definitely this is Michelin standard of dining experience.

There are two SH garden in the city, but this one is definitely better than the one in district 1. Food are definitely amazing, but it also have a much more calm and decent mood. Definitely foreigners friendly.

Beautiful garden oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was calm yet attentive. The food was delicious but price-wise I find it quite expensive for the portion provided. One would do better to order their sets which are much more reasonably priced.

Its the nice place. I had lunch in this restaurant, look good, not hot. We chose Vietnamese cuisine, tasty, not too much, is enough. Good service. But the price for drinking is too high.
