My frequent visits to Shabestan, an authentic Persian restaurant nestled inside a small hotel (Lemon Tree) always make my ordering seamless. We begin with the delicious starter, Kashk Bademjan (fried eggplant).
We move directly to the main course: a generous platter of Chelo Kubideh (ground lamb meat) for the group, complemented by their exceptional trifecta of rice—Saffron, Dill, and Wild Berries.
A highlight drink is the Khak Shir, a delightful, sweet beverage made of chia seeds and rose water. This was an excellent recommendation from Alexa, who is cheerful, pleasant, and exceptionally helpful. She possesses a sharp attentiveness, anticipating our needs perfectly—from custom platter arrangements to our specific rice selection.
Shabestan consistently ranks as my favorite Persian restaurant. A well-deserved five stars!
