The food was okay for the price. There were a lot of vegetables. The meat was also of good quality. I think there was just nothing too special about it. The only unique thing might be the sesame yuzu/ponzu sauce, but it felt lacking for me. So it's a place where you would eat if you want vegetables and maybe a healthy meal after all the ramen and tonkatsu. Also we were seated near where the servers are and they were quite noisy. But when they would talk to us, it would be very courteous at least.

We tried this type of meal here first and were not disappointed. Staff did not speak much english so we figured out how to eat this dish on Google / Youtube. Food was delicious.

I’d say this place is convenient for people who eat alone, but the taste is kind of mediocre and flat. I am quite confused about the usages of two bowls of sauce- I wish they have better instructions or introductions.

The atmosphere is good. The food is a shabu course. The soup is tasteless, you'll get 2 type of dipping sauce. There is a welcome drink of plum wine. When you finish shabu, you will have udon next and finish with ice cream.

We went here for lunch and took recommended lunch set meal of beef & pork, including vegetables. It also came with free refill of rice and pickles. Soon as we ordered, hot water came with 2 types of dipping sauce. We could cook and eat right away. Beef and pork were good. However, couldn't taste the soup since it was just hot water and so does vegetables, which is tasteless due to boiled in only hot water. Vegetable didn't really match dipping sauce too. Service was really good from reservation time until billing. PS

Google
A shabu restaurant that you never miss to visit every time you visit Osaka. They have both beef and pork. The food comes as a set, and the shabu pot is separate for you. Every time, I order the largest meat set. The meat is sliced thinly, has large pieces, and is soft and tender. It is served with a large plate of vegetables and a bowl of rice. There are two dipping sauces to choose from: sesame sauce and ponzu sauce, which you have to ask for yourself. This restaurant has two branches in Osaka. If you like to eat shabu, you shouldn't miss it.

Google
The meat quality was abysmal and the portions laughably small for the exorbitant price. Honestly, the only remotely positive thing was their four-language menu – give yourselves a pat on the back for that, I guess. I ordered their "Premium Japanese Black Beef Set" – what a joke! You get a sad plate of beef slices, another plate of token vegetables, and a bowl of dipping sauce. The beef looked deceptively well-marbled, but once it hit the hot pot? Disgusting. It turned disgustingly mushy and mealy, with absolutely none of the rich, buttery melt-in-your-mouth quality or aroma that actual Wagyu is famous for. This is hands down the WORST so-called 'Black Beef' I've ever encountered – it screamed low-grade offcuts or stuff that’s been freezer-burned for years. Avoid this place like the plague. Total scam. average cost is about 3k yen.

Google
I liked this restaurant, especially the lunch set that was served during 11:00-15:00. You could enjoyed both beef and pork. The location was easy to be found. They had second floor and more tables for customers. The meat was good and fresh, including vegetables. The staffs were nice and good to recommend the menu. If you looked for the quick meal with quality, I recommended this restaurant.

Yelp
Meat was so good amazing service quantity was less so better order a large one sauce is on the point they make their own sauces for two people they have only one ice cream. The waitress forgot to bring the noodles. She got them when we were done eating. But food was good.

Yelp
4.5/5 This was my final dinner spot in my Japan trip. My family wanted a shabu shabu spot as a final sendoff, and a Tabelog search in Shinsaibashi came up with this place. I reserved the day before and managed to get a 7pm Sunday reservation. There are multiple levels to this restaurant; I believe I was in the top floor. The menu is quite extensive, but mostly can sum up to pork, beef, black wagyu beef, kobe beef, regular beef, and jumbo options for each one. My family of 3 started with the black wagyu beef and jumbo beef. It's a little different in which you're given a pot of water, and then you get sesame sauce on the side. Add some garlic and (for me, A LOT of) green onions, and you have your dipping sauce. Yes, it was amazing. After everything was done, you get to use some of the hot pot "broth" for your udon, which was really creative. I can never see udon the same way again lol. Service was slow to start, but eventually we got the standard expected treatment. Aside from that, everything else was top tier, and the very reasonable pricing made that even better.

Yelp
Excellent shabu - very Japanese with a starter of plum wine and ending in udon noodles with broth. Price point was very good and the quality was very high. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Simple and tasty shabu-shabu. We were seated right away and got the standard beef combo (not the jumbo). This was enough food for us, but if you're starving, I'd recommend adding more meats. As others have said, there isn't true broth here like at US hot pot places. Instead, you boil the veggies and meats in water and then dip the cooked food in their house sesame sauce (which was very good). You can add additional garlic, green onion, and chile powder. Then you get udon for the leftover broth and sauce that they provide. Our server gave instructions for how to cook the udon which was also helpful. This meal was easy, quick, yummy, and affordable. I'd recommend if you want a straightforward meal with little frills or fuss!

Yelp
A very unassuming shabu shabu place on the outside, but boy, the food is amazing. Honestly, I didn't think that plain boiling water, sesame sauce, and (soy?) sauce alone would cut it. But what I hadn't factored in was the fact that the meat was fresh and itself already tasty. This is a far cry from shabu places in the US. We ordered a number of different meats: * Pork: Despite being the cheapest option on the menu, this already surpassed expectations. I did get the middle-sized portion, because I felt the "small" might be too little. Very delicious. * Beef: Just plain old "beef" on the menu, but it's very high quality. I would recommend the beef just as strongly, and again, I would recommend the middle-sized portion. * Vegetable and udon combo: This is where my naivety shows -- I actually wasn't sure if these udon were cooked already or not. I stuck them into the boiling water anyways, until they were nice and chewy. They do cook fast though, just like the meat does. Overall, fantastic staff, amazing food, and quick service. They were very communicative about the 3pm "LO" (last order) deadline, and we had no problems -- despite not speaking even a smidgen of Japanese. Just like with many other restaurants, grab the bill and pay at the front (the first floor entrance). The table is a little small, so we had to eat decently quickly to make room for more plates. I didn't mind though. Will definitely make it a point to come back! *In case you're following my reviews and wondering why I say "I'll come back" for *every review, is because nowadays, I leave reviews as a bookmark for myself. There are certainly other restaurants I've tried that I didn't have time to review. So, in turn, if it's bookmark-worthy for me, I'm hoping it is for you too!

Yelp
For about 30USD they offer quality beef matching prime beef IMHO. We chose the jumbo choice beef and Japanese black beef set as our entree and we were not disappointed. They start you off with a shot of plum wine to perk up your taste buds and slice off about 10 full slices of beef if you chose the choice and 6 slices for higher quality of beef. Believe me, you won't be disappointed with the "jumbo" portion. With your meal you also get a box full of mighty fine vegetables. Finishing your meal, the server creates an broth with the pot of water, adding a bit of I believe bonito and yuzu soy to add with your udon noodles. Great touch =). To top it off, your offered a nice scoop of almond ice cream. The restaurant was clean and well kept and their restrooms were well maintained. You'll also appreciate the tentative servers and cashier. Meal: ***** Environment:**** Service:**** Overall score 4.5

Yelp
Ok, this is my favorite shabu shabu place in Osaka because they are very friendly and the food is great at very affordable prices. They fresh ground their seasame for their seasame sauce and the store manager is a sweetheart that is also ready to please. She gives me almond ice cream every time and makes udon at the end. The beef is if very high quality and every cut is delicious. The difference is the level of marbling of the beef. The more expensive cuts will have extremely high marbling which will melt in your mouth. The lower cost cuts will be leaner and more bite. Either way they will be delicious. I highly recommend coming here since their set menu is very reasonable, and they are very friendly to foreigners.

Yelp
We had hot pot here tonight and I think we all enjoy it, especially on a freezing night. First off, the food was great. We ordered the choice beef and choice mixed pork and beef. The meat was tender and delicious. Each order comes with decent amount of meat and veggies. You get udon and sorbet at the end. It doesn't come with rice so if you are used to getting rice with your hot pot, you need to order it separately. Also, it only comes with sesame sauce, which was a bit salty for my taste. If you like ponzu, you can request for it. Service wise, it was a bit slow but still good. We had a party of 6 and was lucky to get in right away, seated in a private room. The waitress was very nice and informative. My only complaint is that the service is a bit slow since we noticed only two waitresses working the whole floor. Other than the pace, everything else is good. Lastly, pricing is reasonable. One entree set per person for choice mixed or beef is $18-$20, which is not the cheapest but not bad for decent meat, veggies, udon, and a scoop of sorbet. Oh, I think they made their own udon noodles because it tasted really fresh and good. We were all full by the time they bring out the udon but everyone still ended up finishing it. All in all, I recommend this place. Good food, decent service, and reasonable price.

Yelp
amazing shabu shabu. english menu but clientele is all japanese... no tourist trap risk. sign out front says "don shop" so don't look for english letters saying "shabu".
