Beautiful calm atmosphere, beautiful views, super quiet space to enjoy your wine and be with loved ones. The flow of the tasting was very nice, and the explanation of the wines was very in depth. They also have horses as well, so its a unique place in that sense! Would reccomend and come back 🌿

We absolutely loved Shadybrook estate! Kerri was a blast to hang out with, she was super personable and knowledgeable about the wine. She made our experience a 10/10. The wine was delicious, we ended up signing up for the membership. Kerri, if you’re reading this we’re coming back to see you!!!!

I can’t say enough nice things about this experience. I booked a horseback ride and private tasting as an activity on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Our trail guide was wonderful and knowledgeable and the horses were sweet and beautiful. The views and property—stunning. When it came time for our tasting, our wine expert Roxanne catered the tasting menu based on what wines we already knew we enjoyed. This was appreciated since I’m not a huge red wine person, which tends to dominate a lot of CA tasting menus. All the selections were delicious but especially the Rapp Ranch Rosé. The charcuterie board was delicious (and so pretty). Our wine expert explained the pairings and even had a handout for us to take home. Well worth adding to your Napa Valley itinerary! They really roll out the red carpet for guests!

We did the perfect pairing tasting that came with a nice charcuterie board. We booked the 11am slot and when we arrived no one was here yet. They sat us a very nice and private seat with a nice view. Our sommelier Pedro was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the wine, and what pairings it would go well with. The menu we had was custom with our names on them, that was a nice special touch. We don’t really drink wine but we really enjoyed the experience and 1.5 hours went by very fast. I would definitely come to Shadybrook/Rapp lane again.

Absolutely stunning location for a post-wedding wine tasting! Came here to celebrate my cousin and her husband. There was a charcuterie board, a tasting of 5 wines from lightest to richest (white to red), cornhole, and and several standing tables. I wish there was more coverage from the heat and a refill of the charcuterie board, but besides that, no complaints. The staff was nice and open to answering questions about the wine process; you'd have to ask since they're busy attending to everyone's drinks. I really enjoyed their red blend.

Amazing wines with topnotch service to match. Booked a tasting at Shadybrook Estate and we enjoyed every minute of it. I love that it's close to downtown, but felt like you were elsewhere. The property is beautiful and I can't wait to visit again!

My company selected Shadybrook for a team wine tasting. As a non-drinker, I called in advance to ask if they had any non-alcoholic options. They told me no. I asked permission to bring a non-alcoholic beverage and checked to see if they would have ice on hand, which they confirmed. On the day of the event, they told me they didn't have ice, and my only option was chilled water. This was super depressing and not welcoming at all. If you are hosting corporate events, you need to do better with catering to non-drinkers.

My fiancé and I generally truly enjoyed our experience here. The employees were very very kind and welcoming. The property is well kept and clean. There is a cute little barn cat that greeted us during our reservation. On that note, you must have a reservation to visit here. This winery estate seems to be a word of mouth estate. 5/5 service -- they're really intimate and explain everything 5/5 wine -- delicious 3.5/5 price Price however, I get it. They are a smaller winery. You aren't going to run into this wine in stores; you can only purchase it on the estate. We did the perfect pairing with charcuterie and it was wonderful. This winery REALLY will depend on your vibe. If you're into the calm collected wineries, it's for you. If you're passing through Napa generally as a first time rodeo to hit big names and spend equivalent money, maybe not? Just depends on your personal taste and opinion. We would return. We left with a bottle and it was delicious. Personally, I love wineries that are a little more exclusivity and tranquility , but it totally depends on your vibe. Overall: as someone from Southern California, this felt like a spot more for the locals.

Fun trail ride, though you don't need to do that to enjoy the wine. Kerry was amazing for our wine tasting - knowledgeable and fun. Wines were delicious. Plus you can't beat the scenery and views. We had such a nice time.

Interesting service we tried to get a glass of wine and we're kinda like shamed for it pretty bizarre. Wine was good and it was cool to go up and see the horses never been to a winery with horses so that was something different. We asked to sit on a couch but had to sit in a special corner because we weren't doing a tasting even though the place was empty.

Yesterday was so much fun! Our hostess was really friendly and gave us thorough explanation about their winery! I love their charcuterie board! It pairs well the wine! My favorite was the rose wine and the red wine shadybrook reserve(I might be wrong). The vibe was perfect! So serene and peaceful! Over all their wines are one of a kind! Also I sign up for their membership!

Charcuterie was average at best with an average price based on pricing in all of Napa County. One cheese selection missing without a replacement. Ambiance was exceptional. Service was above average with the server well informed about the wines and the wine making process. We spent over $800 at this small winery; would not throw in a couple of wine glasses. They don't have to, for sure, but it's free advertising as we often share our wines with friends in glasses from wineries thus promoting their wines and products. Must not need more advertising. Overall a nice time. Would go next time and just taste without purchasing. Hope this is helpful.

The service, ambiance/views, and wine are all solid. We appreciated that they were able to move us to a better table when we asked (we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and really wanted a table with a nice view). The downside is that the pours were sort of small, especially for what we paid ($95 per person for a tasting and cheese pairing). Also, despite the winery knowing we were there to celebrate our anniversary, they didn't acknowledge it. Our server never mentioned it, and we didn't receive any kind of extra special anything (like maybe an extra pour?) To help us celebrate the occasion. That was kind of a bummer.

We had a romantic afternoon of horseback riding and wine tasting. Couldn't ask for anything more. The staff there was excellent.

Amazing property and some well priced and good tasting wines. Beautiful views from the patio. The server was a bit too eager to sell club membership. Had she waited until we were ready to purchase wine, she may have had some luck.

The ambiance of this winery was beyond superb. This was the best experience we have ever had at a winery. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Also, Gabriele our tasting host was the best we could have asked for. He was so kind and had the best energy. We loved this experience and can't wait to go back. HIGHLY recommend! And it was the most epic day of weather we could have asked for. Go in April

Amazing and personable host, Jennifer, and Carla the cat was an excellent co-host! We loved the wines, and we each bought a bottle. The setting is AMAZING- truly beautiful site. Next time we'll add a horseback ride!

If you want a more personal touch then go here. Set on an exceptionally beautiful estate off the beaten wine path, Shadybrook offers excellent wines and views. We heard about this place by word of mouth and it did not disappoint! Ask for Lindsay to be your wine specialist.

I definitely recommend this winery to anyone Visiting the Napa Valley. We had an awesome view during our tasting and there was a beautiful fire pit to keep us warm during our morning tasting. All of the wines are delicious, I'm usually not a Chardonnay fan and theirs is really good. I had to grab a bottle of their 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon because it was so delicious. The service was amazing and the scenery is beautiful. They offer horseback riding which I think is really cute and makes an awesome unique experience. I've already told friends to check them out and I will continue to recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice destination on Napa. The drive here is relatively easy as is the parking situation.

Came here for our anniversary and it was beautiful, peaceful, and romantic. We were seated in a private couples section that overlooked the canyons and vineyards. Our tasting menus were personalized with our names and a happy anniversary message. Our host Pedro was personable and guided us nicely through our tasting and pairings. The wine with the pairings was very thoughtful and delicious. We are new to wine and we loved both the wine and the experience. We will definitely be back.

Perfect winery for a girls trip to Napa. We booked our reservations online, I believe they are appointment only. The views here were unreal and looked like it came out of a post card! The staff was attentive and explained the different glasses throughly. The wine tasting was excellent. There were plenty of out door seating and I really appreciated the different outdoor areas so that you can walk around with a change of scenery. Because Shadybrook was the first winery of the trip, we had high expectations for the next. A must visit.

They had good wine and friendly wine liaisons. When it's warmer you can sit outside on a lovely patio overlooking the vineyards.

5 stars isn't enough! We brought a group of 18 here for a tasting. The wines were amazing. Most of us either purchased wine or became members. The customer service was 2nd to none. I wish every winery/vineyard was half as good as Shadybrook. Skip the large commercial vineyards and RUN to this one!!!

Birthday wish come true! This place was so incredible and I can't wait to come back again already! My husband surprised me with the horse trail tour conjoined with the wine tasting. Our guide Danny, was so helpful and engaging, she answered so many questions about the vineyard and horses themselves! I loved every minute of it. Then we went to our tasting which was immediately greeted by a wonderful server, Andrew, who broke down each wine in informative and tangible ways. (I'm relatively new to wine tasting) and though the ambiance was breathtaking and Andrew was so knowledgeable- it never felt intimating or pretentious. Side note- i was dealing with a work crisis and was being interrupted constantly by work calls and Andrew was so understanding and compassionate. I so appreciate cause all I wanted to do was be present and soak it all in! He allowed for those moments to happen and kept the spirits high. I will definitely be back, thank you Danny, Andrew, and the entire staff!!

I am so glad that I booked a wine tasting experience here for a birthday celebration. It was a much appreciated change in scenery from the busier and louder wineries in Napa, and the smaller and more intimate setting was the perfect way to end our tour of the valley. Gabriel and Carla the Cat were our gracious hosts who entertained us throughout our tasting. Gabriel answered all of our questions and provided some great commentary on the history of the vineyard as well as their award-winning wines, while Carla was a crowd-favorite between glasses. Thank you Gabriel and the Shadybrook team for an amazing experience!

Always an amazing experience - the pairing of charcuterie and wine is well curated and the boutique setting is so personal and wines are well blended, that you don't feel like you're in the high pressure and busy rooms that much of Napa has turned in to. Beautiful grounds, seating area and amazing service. Gabriel has hosted us the last few times and he is fun and knowledgeable. Love coming here - it feels like family.

Private and exclusive tasting. First time visit. I did the Perfect Pairing. We had 4 tastings and the charcuterie board, which lasted 1.5 hours. We sat on the patio and had excellent service. The staff was very attentive and explained everything to us in a way that us wine novice would understand. The property is stunning and the overall ambiance is incredible. It was quiet and cool under the umbrellas. If you go in the evening, I'm sure you would have a beautiful sunset and stay warm with their patio heaters.

I came to Shadybrook for the 5th time yesterday. 3 of 4 people in the group had not been previously, all were overjoyed when we left. Honestly, this place is superior. I've been to a handful of big and small wineries in Napa, and this place is by far the best experience. I booked a 90 min "perfect pairing" and we were served by a (handsome and very polite) gentleman named Gabriel. He taught us about wine, some about the property, and even more about life. We pet horsies and ate cheese and spent time with loved ones on a beautiful piece of land. Maximum good vibes all around. Thanks Shadybrook. I'll be coming here when I'm 700 years old.

Price doesn't match quality of wine Service was fine Views are great Location felt tucked away and it was nice to be secluded and not crowded. For the price of the tasting fee there are much better wineries in the area to taste.

I am so glad to have found Shadybrook's ultimate ranch experience package. I surprised my wife for our anniversary with this incredibly fun outing and it will be a lifelong memory. The property itself is beautiful and scenic. Truly picture perfect wherever you are from the horse back riding or on the wine tasting patio. Our horseback guide was awesome, Hannah gave us history of the estate all while making sure we had a safe and fun experience while we strolled through the vineyard on horseback. Next, Lindsey guided us through an assortment of exquisite wines and an impeccable charcuterie arrangement. she was super knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. I could have stayed on that patio all day long taking in the sights and enjoying their delicious wine. If our family ever gets the chance to come back, we will definitely be stopping at Shadybrook again. Amazing hosts!

Fabulous experience horseback riding and wine tasting in Napa ! Loved the ride, and the incredibly informative tasting room experience

This was our first outing as fiancé's and decided to come here to do the horseback riding and wine tasting. We were immediately helped by one of the people at the gate to sign waivers, get a helmet and meet the beautiful horses. It was such an amazing experience, I can't believe I forgot her name but she was absolutely phenomenal! Since it was our first time horseback riding, we were a bit nervous but she made sure we were safe and most importantly, have fun! And we definitely did! After horseback riding, we were seated by the fire pit to enjoy our wine tasting. Eric was such a great host, he's so informative and attentive! He made our first experience so great! I'm looking forward to coming back here soon for their amazing wine and probably bring some friends here to experience their phenomenal wine tasting and horseback riding!

Shadybrook winery never disappoints - the grounds are lovely and serene and the staff never rush anything. They are enthusiastic about their wines and are more than happy to take their time in discussing the tasting and the history of the estate. Definitely recommend spending time enjoying the view and the wines!

Came to Shadybrook after meeting the winemaker Rudy and so happy we did for a number of reasons: 1. The view is absolutely incredible. There's no bad seat in the house and you get some GORGEOUS sunlight here. 2. The staff is super friendly. Jennifer served our table and was super sweet and helpful. 3. I guess this part is important - the wines are delicious. Most tastings you'll enjoy 2-3 out of the overall selection. There wasn't a single miss here. We bought a few bottles and if our SF apartment had room for more I would have definitely gotten a call from AmEx asking if my purchase is real. The Cutter's reserve and the estate Cab were mouth watering. The rose was perfect to start off the sunny day with. Overall: great staff, beautiful views and delicious wines. You can't go wrong visiting this property

Wonderful experience. Did the 30 minute Horseback ride and tasting. Service was outstanding and the view from the patio spectacular.

This place is a true find! The environment is very relaxing, and the staff is professional and attentive. The back couch near the fire pit is an incredibly romantic place to taste wine and eat some charcuterie. Our server, Andrew, was very knowledgeable about the wine and the process along with the origin of the grapes. Jennifer, the tasting manager, was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. Now the wine tasting: The wine is excellent. My fiancé went home with 3 bottles of the Chardonnay, and I chose one of each of the red. The pinot resembles a bit of a burgundy with a very light almost tawny color, and a strawberry finish. True to tradition, and could probably use a couple years of aging. After the pinot we were poured a Rapp Ranch Cutter's reserve. In heavy contrast to the pinot it was thick and delicious with a sizable contribution from Petit Verdot. I would recommend the Cabernet as well, as it is very well priced for its flavor and complexity in comparison to some of the surrounding wineries. Perhaps their best wine. They also have horses to ride! And a high end boarding stable. We went and introduced ourselves to Dale and Winston at the barn. Pretty great horses.

Beautiful winery with wonderful service and delicious wine. They had just released the 2019 Chardonnay on the day we visited which was a treat because the tasting was initially all 4 reds. So it was nice to have that white in there. They have a small sign on the table to greet you when you arrive for your tasting which I thought was a really nice personal touch. The winery was very peaceful and we got the history of the wine with each pour. They offer charcuterie boards which seemed yummy from what I saw when they brought it out to other tables, but we didn't opt for that this time. There is a stable if you want to check that out when walking the grounds after your tasting. They offer horseback riding too, which I might have to come back for one day!

My boyfriend and I came here after visiting a more well-known and trafficked winery and were over the moon delighted by how personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine the staff were at Shadybrook. We didn't feel rushed, we were welcomed and had really great conversations with both Rachel and Brett who were taking care of us. Rachel was so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the ranch, the grapes, the different vintages, and of the wine, she was such a delight and a great storyteller. Brett was lovely too and indulged my boyfriend with the latter's bad jokes and talk of literature. One of the owners, Alice, even stopped by our table to talk which was so cool and sweet of her. The patio is gorgeous, the people are phenomenal and the wine was spectacular. We left with a few bottles of wine and definitely recommend a visit here! We'll be back!

The property is lovely and has great views. We were warmly welcomed, in spite of a date mixup. It was an unhurried & relaxing experience. The wines were delicious and interesting. Our host was very informative. The cheese plate was a nice bonus. We will return.

Shadybrook is my favorite winery. Every time I come it's like a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed the horseback riding with breathtaking view. The wine tasting was epic. The customer service and ambiance are for sure a rating of 5 stars. This is one of the best and top wineries in Napa. Oh and I love love those horses. Thank you Shadybrook for the hospitality and top notch customer service.

I went for the trail ride and tasting package. It was worth the price for sure. The property is beyond stunning. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and provided exceptional service. The 2019 Shadybrook estate red was my favorite, but the cab from rapp ranch was also great. Loved the charcuterie it came with. I can't wait to return one day.

My husband and I went here for our one year wedding anniversary. We originally booked the cave tour, but received a call from them a few hours before saying that due to a staffing issue, they wouldn't be able to do the cave tour. They offered us the perfect pairing tour completely comped. It was an amazing experience! Jennifer was so great. Her recommendations for pairing the different wines with the cheeses was spot on. We also had an awesome view of the hills and vineyards. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.

Wow! This was my first time in Napa and I was extremely impressed. My brother and I did the Perfect Pairing tasting and immediately we were greeted by Mary who took us under her wing. She taught us so much about the wine grown at Shadybrook and Rapp Ranch. I never thought hearing someone talk about wine could be so interesting. The wines were all delicious paired with the charcuterie board and Mary kept replenishing our board. I left with a smile on my face and a satisfied tummy I can't recommend this place enough! We also stayed a little past our 1.5 hour time and never felt rushed.
