A magical hotel in a gem of a city run my a family of diamonds! So charming kind and thoughtful. An authentic experience in a 375|Year old medieval customised hotel that caters for your every need. A place run on Passion and lifetimes of Rajasthan know how. The owners are above all else the kindest people you will meet. If you are similar in temperament you must not miss this opportunity. We loved it…it is also quietly famous!

Charming guesthouse, ideally located in the old city center and quiet at night. The spacious rooms and rooftop with stunning views create a lovely atmosphere, especially with the cozy dinner by the fire. The staff tries to compensate for certain flaws, but improvements are needed. Cold showers after a long day are disappointing, and the bathroom had a strong smell from the pipes, requiring ventilation all night. Breakfast service was very slow, with local guests served before us despite our earlier arrival, which felt unfair.

During our trip to Jodhpur, we stayed at Shahi Heritage, a 375-year-old haveli that is beautifully maintained. The property is truly impressive—the rooms are spacious and exude a royal charm. The rooftop restaurant offers a stunning view of Mehrangarh Fort, which made our stay even more special. However, I did face one issue. While the property offers complimentary pick-up service, I was told that a drop-off would also be provided. But at the time of checkout, they charged extra for the drop-off. Considering the location of the property isn’t accessible by a four-wheeler, I believe both pick-up and drop-off services should be provided to ensure convenience for guests. It felt inconvenient to be left to figure out transportation for the return after being assured otherwise. Overall, the stay was wonderful, but this small issue left a slightly negative impression. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future.

The best place to stay in jodhpur . The owner Mr.Vishal and Mr.Krishna made our stay very comfortable from start till end .. They gave us early check in too since we arrived at 7:30 . The room is beautifully decorated and I guess this is the only property that has a good view of mehrangadh fort. The food was nice , we had breakfast and dinner there. They invest in maintaining the property and it can be seen.

The room had rose petals on the bedside lockers giving the room a very pleasant aroma. We were greeted by a very friendly labrador named daisy who really makes you feel welcome. The owners are very friendly and even help you with transport.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as a family of four with two rooms, the big suite upstairs with a great view of the fort and the kids in a more characterful if smaller room downstairs. It's a lovely old building with a stunning central foyer; one half expected Indiana Jones to come swinging across the room with his bull whip at any moment. Owner Vishal was very keen to please, as were his delightful family and we had a friendly cook at our disposal for breakast and snacks on the two roof terraces; a lower more spacious one and higher dinky one perfect for panoramic views and a great place to soak up the muezzin as they kicked off all across the blue city. Fab views of the fort. Yes it's a little out of the way but this meant for a quieter, more authentic experience away from the touristy hubbub of the Clocktower and Stepwell areas. I loved the local vibe and enjoyed peaking at the everyday going ons (including great street cricket) from the terrace. Don't miss out on the superb Vijay's restaurant about 10 mins down the main drag (hanger right at the juice bar - a very good one but we were sadly and stupidly overcharged or would have had many more). Vijay's has excellent local curries (kaji v good) and outstanding parathas and lassis - all super cheap. The fort is also excellent (200 r tuk tuk to entrance) with hilarious audio guide. We loved Jodhpur and this was a very nifty place to stay.

- VERY HIGH STEPS. - Cars don't go there so you always need a Tuktuk/Auto to get in and out of the old city - Temples start their early morning pujas right beside it, which are extremely loud - Shower only has lukewarm water - Don't book with breakfast since it always takes them 20 to 30 mins to make (very small kitchen) - The restaurant is mediocre, I would recommend eating outside in the city (Priya Restaurant is pretty good) - TERRIBLE value for the price, room cost us 5000 INR per night but had no amenities except soap and no daily drinking water !!! Also make sure to ask for a proper receipt for your stay, since they tried to give us the booking confirmation as a payment receipt idk seems a little shady to me. !!!
