Our stay at Shahi Heritage was really nice. The property is 375 years old, and it is very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, and the fort view from the rooftop is truly beautiful. They have a good variety of food at reasonable prices. We especially loved the tomato cheese grill sandwich. The staff is very helpful, and the host was very kind. He even offered to refill our water bottles, which we appreciate as we avoid using plastic bottles. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Jodhpur if you want to experience real heritage. Only suggestion is that the kitchen hygiene can be improved a bit.

The stay was very comfortable, price was affordable and the rooms were luxurious and the view from the roof top was mesmerizing and the hospitality was very accommodating and the host took care of security and safety while reaching the hotel by guiding about the location. He took care of small details and ordered the restaurant for Jain food depicting the dutyful towards the tourist and guidance at each point of stay. Highly recommended

The Shahi Guest House is full of beautiful rooms, prepared to make your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible.||It’s just a hundred metres to the slope of the huge Jodhpur fort. With amazing views and a real sense of heritage in every floor and corner of the building.||The Haveli family are very welcoming and flexible. We had bus trouble so arrived in jodhpur very late and thankfully they were awake and waiting for us.||Their breakfast menu offered a range for most tastes. We ate on the roof terrace with memorable views of Jodhpur fort and the local streets with Blue houses. Indian Kites fly overhead, and parrots and monkeys visited the rooftops nearby.

The name says Shahi Haveli but there is nothing ‘shahi’ or ‘royal’ about this place. Its located in a very narrow lane, and is a very old building with super steep, narrow staircases which are a pain to climb. The food in their rooftop cafe is just average & overall service is not satisfactory. The owners tried to be helpful but overall the property has a dull outdated vibe to it.

We stayed at Shahi haveli from March 8th 2025 for 5 nights. We had very large room with 15ft ceilings. Pics donot justify the room, much better in reality. Filled with lots of artifacts and old artitecture of room is beautiful. Retrofitted with all.modern amenities like cold a/c and hot water all the time. rooftop location is perfect to view Fort during day or night one can experience day to day life of common person of old city from this haveli, upclose. Yes we heard complaints from fellow travellers regarding location, little far from main market and resturants But that is a small price to pay, Other above mention experiences are worth it. Auto rickshaw was available for price of $ 2.50 can. During day to go to main market. Night time coming back was slightly more. Mr Vishal the owner lives with his family on premises . Dispite being busy, Very helpful and knowledgeable about city. All in all it was pleasant experience

A magical hotel in a gem of a city run my a family of diamonds! So charming kind and thoughtful. An authentic experience in a 375|Year old medieval customised hotel that caters for your every need. A place run on Passion and lifetimes of Rajasthan know how. The owners are above all else the kindest people you will meet. If you are similar in temperament you must not miss this opportunity. We loved it…it is also quietly famous!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as a family of four with two rooms, the big suite upstairs with a great view of the fort and the kids in a more characterful if smaller room downstairs. It's a lovely old building with a stunning central foyer; one half expected Indiana Jones to come swinging across the room with his bull whip at any moment. Owner Vishal was very keen to please, as were his delightful family and we had a friendly cook at our disposal for breakast and snacks on the two roof terraces; a lower more spacious one and higher dinky one perfect for panoramic views and a great place to soak up the muezzin as they kicked off all across the blue city. Fab views of the fort. Yes it's a little out of the way but this meant for a quieter, more authentic experience away from the touristy hubbub of the Clocktower and Stepwell areas. I loved the local vibe and enjoyed peaking at the everyday going ons (including great street cricket) from the terrace. Don't miss out on the superb Vijay's restaurant about 10 mins down the main drag (hanger right at the juice bar - a very good one but we were sadly and stupidly overcharged or would have had many more). Vijay's has excellent local curries (kaji v good) and outstanding parathas and lassis - all super cheap. The fort is also excellent (200 r tuk tuk to entrance) with hilarious audio guide. We loved Jodhpur and this was a very nifty place to stay.
