This review is long overdue. We stayed here in July based on our travel agent’s strong recommendation and the beautiful pictures online. Unfortunately, our experience was a huge letdown. When we checked in around 9 PM, the room had an awful smell, and the toilet flush was broken and came apart. We immediately requested a room change, but the staff refused at first. After several back-and-forth conversations, they finally agreed to move us but only the next day. Around noon the following day, we were given another room, which had rag cloths in place of face towels. Even basic requests like water were ignored; despite calling three times and going directly to the lobby, no one brought any. To make things worse, the section of the building we were in didn’t have an elevator, which made it difficult for elderly guests to climb up to the second floor. When we thought maybe we were just unlucky, we saw another family arguing with the management during checkout. Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures online this place is poorly maintained and offers terrible service. It’s definitely not worth the price they charge.

Beautiful herritage property with prime location to live by, top notch ambience each and every corner of the palace has picturistic detailing. Makes you feel like living with the royal experience, restaurant has best lal maas and other dishes, Raman ji from the Restaurant staff has been there all the time to serve all the guest, staff is also welcoming and helpful. We had no complaints apart from the timings of the Restaurant which closes by 10.30 PM and then they can serve you in room dining but very limited options. If you're a party people and want to have fun then must arrange yourself into the setting.

The Shahpura house is an incredible location, which give me tears in my eyes seeing its beauty! What a magnificent place. You will be overwhelmed by its beauty and purity! The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. The restaurants ate splendid with food of the highest quality. The Rasa resataurant offer magnificent view over the city and on the Amer Fort.

The Shahpura House is a singular experience that allows the visitor to get a sense of pre-partition opulence. The decor is of the period (1940s) with stunning details in every corner — ornate painting, molding, furniture, chandeliers and more. The staff are exceptional — friendly, helpful, and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is a reason to wake up in the morning. And the pool is perfect for refreshing a weary traveler on a hot Rajasthani afternoon. You will not be disappointed!!!

We stayed 2 nights and Himmat Singh was amazing to us. A very kind and caring man who always had a smile. Unfortunately we were not impressed with the food or the food service. We are all our meals there over the 2 days and tried both restaurants. We found the food to be ok but nothing exceptional. The hotel itself is truly beautiful and well maintained.

How glorious is this hotel. The hotel has the old India atmosphere with traditional wall paintings, marble floors, unique architecture, and charming areas to explore. You feel like you have been taken back in time. Facilities are excellent, with courteous staff and live entertainment each night. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.

Shahpura House Hotel is a beautiful property with a traditional charm that truly stands out. The rooms are neat, spacious, and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The rooftop restaurant is lovely and adds to the overall experience. However, a few areas need improvement. The breakfast buffet was average, and the baked items such as croissants and donuts were below par. Our experience with the spa was also disappointing. Despite receiving a call from the spa, there was no male masseuse available in the evening. When we tried to book a session for my wife the following morning, we were told that no female masseuse would be available during those hours either, which was quite frustrating. The valet service also requires attention. The staff often appeared disengaged instead of being attentive to guests. On a positive note, the reception team was excellent — professional, courteous, and always ready help. However, with a five star hotel status, we expected more from Shahpura House. Hence the 4 stars.

My experience with Mr. Vineet, the hotel manager, has been outstanding. He is attentive to every need and request, provides warm and personal attention to every guest I send, and always acts with great professionalism and efficiency. The level of service he delivers is truly exceptional, and his genuine care for the guests’ comfort is remarkable. A highly professional manager I wholeheartedly recommend! Hotel is very luxurious all staff is very good and all services is very good specially thanks for housekeeping services of jai Singh kartar . and durvesh thanks LEVANAKAHIRI aldorf .
