Tempted. Between a 3 and a 4 on this review. The hotel is a beautiful beautiful building. The rooms are amazing but not particularly clean, especially the bathroom. The floors are marble and tiled so very very noisy. This with outside noise which I appreciate can’t be helped do not aid a good nights sleep. We ate in the buffet once and the food was ok. We ordered room service on the second evening and this was excellent. Other than our initial welcome staff walk by with no acknowledgement. We visited reception twice for change but were advised they had none. We were only asking to change 500 Indian rupees. The bar is a lovely area and the snooker table is an added bonus.

Expected better. Poor restaurant breakfast service. Limited menu. Room service was slow and reception response was unsatisfactory. Room amenities could have been better. For the premium being charged, its average. But if they work hard. This can truly become heritage house which is currently being under leveraged

Booked royal suite for 2 days but extended to 3 days, but not available, got Suite room for 3 days. Excellent place to stay with great palace like ambience. Very well maintained and decorated heritage hotel. Breakfast was complimentary which was very good with lots of varieties. Read some negative reviews before going about unresponsive staff but had a very different experience. Staff was very cooperative. Food was tasty. Overall excellent experience, will stay again.

First vacation with our daughter and we had an amazing time. The heritage vibe of the hotel was so different and captivating. Stayed in the suite room and it was well maintained. Total value for money. The staff at Reception Miss sajda was very helpful and courteous.

We had a very nice and pleasant stay at Shahpura House. Everyone was very hospitable and customer service was great. Himmat Singh, Devender, Mukesh and Biju Singh was a pleasure to talk to and provided very good service. The breakfast was really good the first two days of our stay particularly . Monday and Tuesday. House keeping is a tad bit slow but still good. Overall a great stay.

Shahpura house is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and were able to truly kick back and relax after busy days visiting the local forts. The winning gem for this hotel was the Spa -both Biju and Avi were amazing massage therapists and were able to ‘Deknot’ our backs so much so we booked the ‘Destressor’ therapy two times. I highly recommend this hotel and especially this spa.

This review is long overdue. We stayed here in July based on our travel agent’s strong recommendation and the beautiful pictures online. Unfortunately, our experience was a huge letdown. When we checked in around 9 PM, the room had an awful smell, and the toilet flush was broken and came apart. We immediately requested a room change, but the staff refused at first. After several back-and-forth conversations, they finally agreed to move us but only the next day. Around noon the following day, we were given another room, which had rag cloths in place of face towels. Even basic requests like water were ignored; despite calling three times and going directly to the lobby, no one brought any. To make things worse, the section of the building we were in didn’t have an elevator, which made it difficult for elderly guests to climb up to the second floor. When we thought maybe we were just unlucky, we saw another family arguing with the management during checkout. Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures online this place is poorly maintained and offers terrible service. It’s definitely not worth the price they charge.

We booked the royal suite in Shahpura House for 2 nights 4th-6th Dec with family. After check in, the staff walked us to our room and told us that they had decided to upgrade us. He then showed us a small room, the most basic room they have in the hotel. When we asked how this can be an upgrade and that we want to see the royal suite. He has the audacity to say that they gave us this room so that it will more comfortable for my mother as the royal suite does not have an elevator. My mother is in her early 50s and has no problems walking or using stairs whatsoever, we made no such request to the staff. After back and forth we were finally taken to the royal suite room. We felt a similar sense unwelcomeness in the restaurant. So despite the hotel being well maintaned and beautiful we did not enjoy our stay. THE buffet breakfast and food here was the worst we've had in our 12 days across Rajasthan
