Shaka Riki

The food here is fantastic – the katsu curry and ramen are absolute standouts, with great value for money. Service overall was really warm and friendly, and the staff made us feel very welcome. One note: on our second night visiting, the young male host at the door tried to turn us away at 9:25pm, even though the restaurant clearly closes at 10pm. It seemed like he wanted to wrap up early, which wasn’t a great experience. Thankfully, the waitresses quickly stepped in, were super sweet, and even made me an origami stork for my birthday 🥰 – which completely turned the night around. Would still highly recommend for the food and overall atmosphere – just hope the front-of-house host improves his approach.

Amazing atmosphere, lovely staff and a whole session on the menu made vegan. I loved it, 10/10 everything was truly delicious and the plates also had a good size. More than recommend.

Really good raw fish. I had the small tuna poke (watch out, it has no rice!), and avocado tuna roll. All delicious! Downgraded: salmon poke bowl - if ordered again, ask no cucumber, no wasabi, no coriander, no rabanito, but OK. Watch out: there are lots of mosquitoes Complimentary miso soup was amazing

Had dinner at Shaka Riki and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was beautifully designed with a relaxing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were attentive and kind throughout the evening. I ordered the salmon and tuna sushi rolls—both were fresh and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to my waitress, Demi, who was incredibly kind and friendly. Her hospitality truly stood out and made the evening even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and would absolutely recommend a visit

My favourite restaurant in uluwatu. Service is amazing. They bring you hand towels, peanuts, lemon water and miso soup all on the house. They are accommodating to allergies. The restaurant is gorgeous it feels like fine dining but with really reasonable prices. Toilets really clean and nice. Staff lovely always topping up water. They also brought bug spray over for us. The food was delicious. I had the veggie gyoza and they were so good and the curried udon noodles. Lush! Would 100% recommend.

i had an awesome first time dining at Shaka Riki. i got salmon sashimi and the fish was super fresh and delicious. the tonkatsu pork ramen was amazing and super filling, broth done so well. complimentary miso soup was lovely as well. the staff were so wonderfully hospitable, Ari brought me a paper crane after my meal. felt so welcomed and warm here from the parking attendant to the door to inside. thank you!

I had a great dinner experience here. The food was amazing - there’s a good variety from your classic Japanese staples, to some unique takes I hadn’t seen before. Plenty of non seafood dishes too! On top of all that, the staff really made our time here special. So kind and welcoming!

Impeccable service - the best I have seen in Uluwatu. The service staff are onto it and don't miss a beat. Food is incredible - fresh and tasty. They even gave us an origami swan to end the night - great touch!
