Shamrock Irish Pub

The mood is always high at Shamrock! I found the place two years ago and always ended up going back there. The DJs are amazing: Robert, Joao and Gigi have good musical taste and are very friendly! They always made me sing. Bar stuff is also great… it really feels like a second home

It was a nice and beautiful atmosphere. I enjoyed it yesterday, that's my friend on stage. Next time, I will sing one of my favorite song 🎵

the place itself is fine but i’m disappointed because they have a whole page on their website about how they’re a great place to watch rugby, but for the all blacks vs ireland game they didn’t even have the sound on because they had karaoke at the same time. also the guinness pour was fine but it didn’t taste very fresh (maybe it’s not ordered often?)

I've visited the Shamrock Pub on several occasions. The pricing is moderate, comparable to other venues in Munich’s city center. On popular nights like Fridays and Saturdays, the pub tends to be quite busy, creating a lively atmosphere. However, one aspect significantly detracts from the experience: the karaoke nights. The volume of the karaoke microphone is set so excessively high that it drowns out the actual music being played. Unfortunately, the singing quality is often poor, making it difficult to enjoy the ambiance or hold a conversation. Due to this, I’ve decided to avoid the venue in the future. The loud and off-key singing from intoxicated guests still echoes unpleasantly in my ears.

Went there for a comedy night, but it was cancelled without any notice until the audience had already arrived. The beer tasted like soy sauce.

I love how attentive the waitr and waitress. It is my first time to go here and it serves my expectations. The crowd are nice, relax and fun. I love how the moderators keep the audience energy interaction. I love the interior design of the pub. It has well lit and very spacious in my liking. There are tables and seats which will help to ease the sounds when we need to discuss something and not shouting at each other. I love the round table in the front of the counter and also those round seats, which I find it very comfortable to seat on. Bathrooms are cleaned with well lit and hand sanitizers. The steinofen pizza is superb 👌 worth the price. And it is affordable. The drinks.. the Shamrock, is a must try. Also those different shots. Thank you for the waitress who assist us to order the usual liking of first time Vodka and Tequila drinks. I just wish, that to have the Card use, the minimum hopefully be at least 10 Euro. And also, by paying with cards, I hope there is automatically receipts to be printed. Will look forward to hop in this pub again 😀 and will surely recommend to my colleagues and friends.

Absolutely love the place. Considering other karaoke places in Munich which are next to non-existent this one steals the show. Decent food options.. good drinks options and always an enthusiastic crowd. The bar keepers are also very friendly and chill.

Service was ok but they skipped our song twice and never said a thing. I told the guy in charge of the songs and he said to go away in a vey rude way. And also to add, it was my birthday and i told them that it was my birthday and they still skipped two of our songs.

Always a cool place to have a Guinness or three. The staff is very friendly and there is always something going on, be it karaoke, live music, etc. It can get crazy full, but I see that as a good thing :-)

This is my favorite place to do karaoke in Munich. They do it on Tuesdays and Fridays, and either day you need to get here early if you want a table that has a view of the stage. If not, you can just stand in front of it like everyone else. It starts around 22:00, but I would suggest getting there around 20:30/21:00. They have decent pizza and nachos and normal prices for beers. I have had many a drunken night here singing karaoke and it is always a blast. The crowd is always rowdy and really into it, so it is a great place to sing. The only downside is that in the summer it gets SO hot in there, because it is a basement bar. Enjoy!

Nice Irishpub in Munich-Schwabing, not far from the university. Gets quite crowded Fridays & Saturdays. Thursdays there always is a poker night as well as a pub quiz. on Tuesdays and Fridays there is karaoke with great ambiance! There always are many irish and british folks there, leading to a much more authentic feeling. The toilets could be cleaned more often and sometimes the staff could be a little faster and more polite. Prices for drinks are on an average Pub niveau. 3,4EUR per beer (they serve Bavarian beer as well as Irish) and between 4-6EUR for a whiskey for example. If you like Irishpubs, you will like it here. If not - better look for sth else.

That's a good place. I have been there two or three times. It's the classic place where you can meet friends to chill with a beer. The music is really good.

Late Irish place with live bands and dancing. Gets very packed at the weekend. Thursday they have a pub quiz from 8. Food is not the best but you don't come to this place for that. The bathroom could be cleaned more regularly during the evening.

I hated this place so much. You can't really do anything properly in Shamrock. If you want to eat, food is not good. If you wish to enjoy the music, you can't unless you're standing in the middle of the pub. Slow service at the bar. Suitable for Erasmus students.
