Just as good as the Taiwanese original, Din Tai Fung serves up high-quality, fresh cuisine. The signature dish, soup dumplings or 小笼包 (xiaolongbao), comes in many different, but equally delicious flavors. Though the other food seems to play second fiddle, the rest of the menu is prepared with just as much thought and flavor. The service is efficient but attentive. Additionally, they offer vegetarian soup dumplings, which are not as good as the meat-filled version, but offer vegetarians the rare option to try this staple Shanghainese dish.
