Chicken dumplings are the move and always order the green beans with minced pork.

There’s a Chinese restaurant I pass by every day on my way to drop off my daughter, so I decided to stop in. Since it was my first visit, it's hard to fully evaluate the entire menu, but based on what I had today, the food was average overall. The most disappointing part of the experience was that, while we were still eating, the staff began clearing our dishes without asking. It felt as though they were rushing to prepare the table for the next guests. That said, the house fried rice was the most enjoyable dish of the meal. -. Taste of foods: 7/10 -. Freshness of Ingredients: 7/10 -. Staff Friendliness & Attitude: 1/10 -. Speed of Service: 9/10 -. Cleanliness: 6/10

We will avoid this restaurant because of its service. The curry chicken was average at best and I wouldnt recommend it. Orange chicken and Tofu eggplant were two options worth trying. Overall, the food is good and is worth a try. We ordered a bunch of items and thoroughly enjoyed them. The thing that we hated most about the place was its service. The waitress was clumsy at best where she spilled water on the table and took 5 mins to bring napkins to clear it up. She did it again to the table next to us. Anytime we requested anything, she would forget and needed another reminder. When we gave her 12% tip, she had the audacity to call us back and demanded 18% tip.

Shanghai Bun in West Windsor offers a decent dining experience for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine. During a recent lunch outing with my son, we sampled a variety of dishes including pork soup dumplings, wine chicken (served at room temperature), spicy beef noodle soup, and pan-fried chive buns. The standout dish of the day was definitely the spicy beef noodle soup, which delivered bold flavors and just the right amount of spice to tantalize the taste buds. The pork soup dumplings and pan-fried chive buns were also enjoyable, meeting our expectations in terms of taste and quality. In terms of service, we found the staff to be attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were promptly met throughout the meal. While Shanghai Bun may not be for everyone, it delivers solid food and service that are in line with expectations. Overall, it's a decent option for a casual lunch, and I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Food was authentic and made with passion. The dim sum was incredibly flavorful and artfully crafted. The soup dumplings were super aromatic, rich, and filled with lots of juice and flavorful pork. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone craving dim sum. In addition, their wonton soup was really good and some people at my table had noodles and they all really liked them. There was a variety of options and the atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. The food came quickly and service was great. Amazing restaurant.

We found this place while searching for good restaurants around Princeton and thought to give it a try. It is usually full in the evening. The chicken dumplings with peanut sauce were amazing and liked it a lot. Egg plant and tofu was good. We also liked the seafood soup. The spicy chicken was okay. The quantity was good enough and the items were moderately priced too. The server was very friendly. Overall it was a good experience and would visit again of we are in Princeton.

Was a NYPD Detective, and many a nights after closing out a case, the men and women in my squad would go to Chinatown to Woh Hop which is a Legitimate Chinese restaurant. I have to say, this place hits the mark. The taste of the food was exactly what I expected, Good Chinese food But don't let me be your judge, see for yourself, and enjoy. GREAT FOOD!!! No fancy decor, just great food. Our server was great, and our food was hot. Have a good time.

We had just the most amazing meal there! The staff is friendly and the food was just so well crafted. It came out almost instantly. It was fresh, hot, and so tasty. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! The prices were crazy good. We ate so much for so little money I felt like we were underpaying for food so we'll done!!!

Great, really authentic true Chinese cuisine (Shanghai style). The restaurant Shangai Bun takes up the space of the old (and not quite popular) Indian restaurant Ganges that went out of business years ago. The prices are good, and the portion sizes are more than generous. Honestly, their average main course could be shared between two people. Not to be missed is the restaurant's traditional appetizers section, Dim Sum. The service is friendly and efficient. If you are a culinary adventurous type and would like to sample the really authentic Shanghai specialties, we would suggest you look at the restaurant's menu online and do your research. Some staples, such as tendon and black mushroom gluten puffs, need some getting used to. We stopped by at the rather unusual time, briefly after 5 p.m., on a Friday. Shanghai Bun was almost full. That should give our readers a rough idea of how popular the restaurant really is.
