Shangri-La Al Husn, Muscat

Rooms are big and impeccably clean. Mini bar is always full and replenished daily; you can drink and eat everything in the mini bar. The room we got has an excellent view of the sea. There's so many restaurants to choose from, as there are three main properties located next to each other. Food is excellent, including the breakfast spread. There's really nothing to complain about, in my opinion.

What a wonderful place to stay .rooms spacious and very well appointed, queen size bed very comfortable, bathroom huge and spotless with an array of local lotions shampoo and conditioner. Room cleaned and turned down daily with the minibar restocked. All staff were the friendliest I have ever experienced. The restaurants we used were high end and the wine list was adequate. All in all a very nice place to spend a week , will return next year .

We had a wonderful holiday at Shangri La Husn and thought the food and service we received at the restaurants was without exception outstanding. We would particularly like to mention Michaela (Capri), Ei (Bait al Bahr) and Nim (Sultanah/Aperative) who were all very kind and went out of their way to look after us. We would also like to mention our room attendant (Sachin) who serviced our room exceptionally well twice a day and always ensured he came at times when we were out so as not to disturb us. Exceptional! Al Husn is a very special place. The most magical setting, architecture, and staff. We visited August 2024 and will be returning this summer again for a multi generational, 7 person holiday. |What we really appreciate about this resort is the serenity. No piped music by the pool or on the beach, (although sadly some clientele like everywhere think it’s acceptable to play sound out loud on their devices on the beach and by the pool.)|The hotels architecture and service oozes Arabic tradition whilst adding elements of modern day elegance and superb comfort and functionality. The bedrooms are sumptuous with every need considered and you truly feel you are in a different land, enjoying a different culture, which is exactly how travel should be.|This time we stayed in the Panoramic View rooms and we were blown away. As lovers of serenity and a view, I couldn’t wait to draw back the curtains in the morning and take it all in. |On top of all the above, the real reason we come back to this hotel is the exceptional team of staff, superbly overseen by Nick Flynn. |Nick himself takes the time to check in with the guests, Whilst we sat on the terrace for evening drinks he would make time to share a few words with every guest. Exceptional hospitality and the sort of touch that makes you feel so special, so looked after and genuinely welcome. This is almost a service of bygone days, and yet so many other hotels are missing out on this very important detail. We rarely experience hospitality like this anywhere else in the world, and we are very well travelled.|Nick has managed to cultivate this same hospitality across his wonderful team of staff. From the kitchen to the dining room, to the housekeeping, to the reception, to the concierge, to the pool, beach staff, and the spa, every detail and need was catered for.|We ate most nights at the hotel and sampled delicious food with the “special” summer menu. It was very enjoyable to dine at Sultannah every night in the child free environment. We found the summer special menu really suited our tastes and meant we looked forward to every evening, and didn’t feel the need to eat elsewhere. |Returning to this resort for the fifth time this summer, will be the highlight of our year again. I want to say a big thank you to the front desk team for their excellent service. Everyone was very professional and truly outstanding. They explained all the hotel facilities and its history with such warmth and energy. The Sultanah team took equally good care of us during all our meals (both breakfast and afternoon tea). They paid attention to every little detail and made us feel special throughout our stay. One of the best parts was when the Chef came to personally welcome us and explain the breakfast menu. We loved all the food both times. Everything from how beautifully the dishes were presented to how delicious they tasted was perfect. The fried fish was honestly the best I've ever had. It wasn't just breakfast - it was a special experience we looked forward to every morning. I also really appreciated the free cultural tour with Khalid. He shared us so much about Oman's history and culture, as well as the hotel's background. He was extremely kind and made the tour very enjoyable. What makes this hotel special is that every department works together to provide amazing service. The staff don't just do their jobs - they make real connections with guests and create memories that last long after you leave.

Time to pamper yourself is perfect way to say....private beaches...infinite pool amazing activities as I was vegetarian still they were so many delicious options. I celebrated my bday they did such beautiful decor... Enjoyed thoroughly..

this is one of my favorite days at resorts. The view of the beach beside the work was phenomenal and I love the idea there were no kids in this particular resort and I love that we can go to other restaurants near by. and the Omani service were awesome. Everyone was welcoming and the luxurious experience was amazing. The food was good. I think I’d rather prefer multiple options. They have you for dinner and lunch menu specifically Sultanah restaurant but overall was good for three days. they offer pick ups to the souq and outside mall. The spa was fine with the Luban fragrance. The gym is not highly equipment, but was good though. and they have the coolest car museum I ever seen the car collections was so good and they have almost 64 cars. not much of activities, but it was chill and nice luxurious experience and most people there are old people.

From the moment we were greeted at the reception with coffee and dates, to our easy checkout the following day, this was a great way to spend a birthday weekend. |We've been here before and the return visit did not disappoint. ||Special Mention goes out to Jega, the team on reception, the dinner and breakfast staff, and whilst we relaxed on the beach and by the pool, Ankit could not have been more helpful looking after us. ||Dinner was absolutely perfect and the nice touches the team did were really appreciated. The sheer choice of food at breakfast was amazing.||The rooms were comfy, had literally everything we needed, literally everything.||We knew this trip was going to be good, but the level of service we received on this visit was unmatched.||Thanks again for looking after us. You know how to look after people and make their stay very special indeed.
