Shangri-la Boat Tour

Went on the sunset cruise for my birthday yesterday and we had such a great time! Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and the boat was clean. Darren was very accommodating and we had a great time talking to him. Would definitely recommend this!

had the pleasure of spending a weekend aboard the Shangri-La Jay, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped on deck, the crew was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The yacht itself is beautifully designed—sleek and modern with a cozy yet luxurious interior. The cabins were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. We especially loved the flybridge, which was perfect for sunbathing during the day and enjoying drinks at sunset.

We were supposed to stay on the Freestar. 3 days before we were supposed to stay there we were informed it wasn't available. We were offered to stay on the Shangri la Cheer which is a party boat. One of the cabins was a crew cabin. The boat was DIRTY! The manager informed us that the boat had a charter and gave us a small credit. On returning we found the decks were sticky from spilled drinks and sodas. Avoid this outfit like the plague!

I would like don't put stars at all Unfortunately, my experience at the New Year's Eve Cruise Party, for which I spent $160, was highly unsatisfactory for several reasons. Despite my attempts to reach out for a resolution, the organization has failed to contact me, leaving me with no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. From the beginning, we encountered rudeness from the host, which dampened the experience. Despite this, we decided to proceed, as we had no other option at that moment. The main issue arose when we discovered that food was available for purchase only. At the time of booking, it was stated that only the bar was for purchase. However, at the event, the only food option was an oily pizza slice from Freshslice Pizza for $5 each. This was already disappointing, but the situation worsened when we were informed that the afterparty required a separate payment. There was no mention of this in the event description. Additionally, the advertised limousine ride to the gallery for the after-party was stated to be included in the general admission. However, upon arrival, we were informed that this ride was only for VIP admission. The event description clearly stated: "General admission with red carpet photos upon entry (no photos were provided, and the carpet appeared to be a bathroom rag) followed by champagne upon entry with a limousine elite ride to the Gallery for After-Party." Same as we were not aware that there will be extra charge for after party since there was nothing about it. To add a bit of humor to this unfortunate situation, it seems that the event description of the party was updated after the fact. Luckily, I have screenshots of the original description, will see if they help me to report this organization as for possible fraud. It is completely abnormal that this could happen when people use EventBrite platform ( funny that they also don't care that description was changed post even via their platform and haven't even block this organization) for expensive events to get good experience , and they end up feeling trapped.
