Shangri-La Dubai

This is our second time staying in Shangri-La Dubai and the service and the hotel is as impeccable as it was the first time we stayed here. It is reassuring to know that customer service still exists in this day and age of profit being the main focus by most hotels. We can't say enough aboout the friendliness and corteousness of the all the staff at this hotel. This is definitely our hotel of choice anytime we travel and we will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Keep up the great work in catering to the needs of you customers.

The hotel is very clean, the customer service was impeccable. From checking in Staff Coline was very friendly. The director of rooms Assem was very attentive to our needs. Even the housekeeper Kelum was very polite. We dined at their restaurant The Shang Palace and staff Christene was very friendly and attentive. The daily breakfast was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed three nights with my family.|From the moment check-in process was smooth and efficient. From reception Luz Syla greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome right away.Special thanks to Luz & Nikhil.Our room was Upgraded to the nice view, The room was spotless and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed. The housekeeping team maintained excellent cleanliness daily. Whenever we needed assistance, the front desk and concierge were always prompt and helpful.|We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, where the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The staff took care of every detail, ensuring a pleasant.|I would gladly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff very prompt with their service especially very much liked the customer service of ‘Saudi’ who liked after us very well the moment he found out my son was sick. He was prompt, listened to our problem attentively and immediately found a solution to what we discussed with him. Our stay at Shangri-La Dubai was peaceful and overall very pleasant. However, we did notice a few maintenance and housekeeping issues that we felt were not up to the usual 5-star standards. Based on our past experiences with other luxury hotels, we expected more consistent attention to detail. Nevertheless, many teams at Shangri-La truly made our stay memorable, and we would like to highlight their excellent service. During our reservation, Mr.Akram assisted us with a smooth booking process and ensured all our arrival details and preferences were confirmed perfectly. Horizon Club Team – Mr.Nikhil & Team During check-in, Nikhil and his team ensured a smooth Horizon Club experience. Every time we visited the Horizon Club dining area, they welcomed us warmly and helped us with our requests without hesitation. Their service was outstanding, and we appreciate all their efforts. Concierge Team – Mr.Hareed & Team We received many parcels during our stay, and the concierge team consistently delivered everything to our room with a smile and great patience. Their positive attitude and respect toward guests truly stood out. A special thanks to Mr.Hareed and his team for helping us pack our shopping items neatly and securely. Welcome Greetings Team and Guest Relation Team– Ms.Elizabeta & Team From check-in to check-out, the welcome team ensured a smooth arrival and departure. My kids especially enjoyed spending time with them—their friendliness and affection were incredible. They showed genuine love and warmth, which made our children feel very special. We have attached a few photos as well to show our appreciation. Restaurant Team – Mr.Pradeep & Team The restaurant staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to assist. We appreciate their hospitality throughout our stay. Concerns With Housekeeping Our only concerns were related to the housekeeping team: As per hotel guidelines, bedding linens should be changed every two days, but ours were not changed until we informed the staff. We had requested kids’ blankets, but the same blanket remained for six days without replacement. Only after informing Nikhil from the Horizon Club did the housekeeping team finally address the issue. Additionally, essential toiletries such as shower gel were not refilled for three consecutive days—even after room makeup. When we reported this, the issue was resolved. These concerns reflect our personal family experience, and we understand that experiences can vary from guest to guest. We hope this feedback helps in improving the consistency of housekeeping services.

We stayed at Shangri-La Dubai for 7 nights during our first trip to Dubai, and the experience was truly memorable. The Burj Khalifa and skyline view from our room was absolutely stunning and a real highlight of our stay. The staff at the entrance and reception were warm and welcoming, especially with the kids, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was very good with friendly, service-oriented staff genuinely willing to help, though we felt the menu variety could be expanded or changed slightly over longer stays. We travel widely and appreciate good hospitality, and a special mention goes to Chef Sreejith, whose warmth and personal attention made our breakfast mornings special and added a level of care that is rare to find. Overall, a wonderful stay and would love to return.

This is my second stay in this hotel and I love it. It has one of the most beautiful views of Dubai. That’s why I like to stay at the Club rooms in the high floors, which give you complementary access to the Horizon pool and to the Club Lounge with breakfast and evening snacks and drinks. The service is of high quality, the staff is attentive, friendly and professional. The Horizon 42 bar at floor 42 offers a unique view at sunset. The Balcony bar on Floor 1 has a great selection of beers and cigars. The Chinese restaurant Shang Palace has a great selection of dumplings.

My stay at the Shangri-La Dubai wasn't just a hotel visit; it was the kind of wonderfully smooth experience that makes a trip memorable. From the moment I walked in, greeted by that signature, understated fragrance and genuinely warm smiles, I felt instantly at ease. The room was a sanctuary of calm – spotless, incredibly comfortable, and with a breathtaking view of the Burj Khalifa that never got old. What truly set it apart, though, was the people. Every request was met with a "certainly, madam" and a sincere desire to help, from the concierge who secured a last-minute dinner reservation to the housekeeping staff who left thoughtful little touches. The location is perfect, right on Sheikh Zayed Road, putting you in the heart of the city's energy yet letting you retreat into utter tranquillity. Whether it was sipping coffee at the Dunes Cafe or watching the sunset from the pool, the entire atmosphere was one of refined, unpretentious luxury. It felt less like a corporate chain and more like a impeccable service. I left not just rested, but genuinely delighted – it’s the hotel you find yourself recommending to friends, because it simply gets everything right.
