Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius

We have just had the most relaxing 10 day stay here. It's the first time in my life that I've been to a resort for so long and not felt the need to leave once. Normally we'd go out for excursions, but there was plenty to do and various places to hang out in the resort, so we just stayed and enjoyed it all.||||The service was really great and we were very well looked after by everyone from the front office team through to housekeeping. The variety of restaurants was also good, and we rotated through them all over the 10 nights we ate in the resort. We stuck to the a la carte restaurants which always had a good atmosphere and excellent service. The sushi at Kushi was a standout, but all of the restaurants were really wonderful.||||We were lucky enough to be in a Signature Suite which gave us a lot of space. If you can afford the uplift in cost then do it, as it's a huge upgrade versus what you get in a more standard room. Having breakfast in Coco's was also much nicer than the buffet breakfast available in TSK.||||We thoroughly recommend this resort, and will very happily return for another stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this breathtaking resort. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm, genuine, and unforgettable – truly the epitome of hospitality. Shangri-La Le Touessrok managed to excel in every way and completely stole our hearts. Special gratitude goes to Dass, our host, Heeru and Pooran at the restaurant, and Sonam Tatur from the Sales team – true hospitality heroes who made our experience extraordinary. Of course, Mauritius guarantees sunshine, blue seas, and pristine white sands, but what sets Shangri-La apart is the attention to detail, genuine care, and world-class service. We especially loved Coco’s, where dining by the beach with panoramic sea views was pure magic. The Indian fine dining experience at Safran was another highlight – chic design, outstanding service, and food that still lingers in my memory (the king prawn dish was divine!). The resort offers endless opportunities to explore, including their exclusive private island with its own restaurant – the prawn linguine there was out of this world. Every moment left us feeling spoiled, cared for, and completely at ease. This was without a doubt the highlight of our stay on the East Coast of Mauritius. 🌴✨♥️

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything about our stay was faultless. No matter which restaurant we visited, the food was exceptional, and the service consistently outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit here.||||The staff truly go above and beyond to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Our rooms were also kept immaculately clean and tidy throughout our stay, which made the experience even more comfortable and relaxing.||||We would especially like to mention Dastagere (Das), who welcomed us on arrival and looked after us throughout our stay with genuine warmth and care. A special thanks also to Jean-Marc in the main building for his cheerful greetings, the wonderful team at Cocos Restaurant, and the excellent service from Kush, Dylan, Ronan, and Martine.

We spent 5 days here while on our honeymoon and enjoyed every moment! The property is absolutely stunning, I was blown away by the interior decor of every spot at the hotel. The adults only pool was great for us. I had an amazing facial at the spa. We ate dinner at both the Indian and Japanese restaurants which were exceptional. Enjoyed the tennis court and gym facilities. Overall 10/10 experience

Our festive stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok was memorable, with a fantastic welcome by the ever-energetic Jean Marc, who truly stood out among the staff and embodied the hotel’s spirit. The room was impeccable. Facilities were excellent, and staff generally helpful. We particularly enjoyed the boat trip to Ilot Mangénie. The buffet, while satisfactory, lacked the exceptional touch one might expect from a resort of this calibre. While the recent renovations have refreshed the property, it felt as though some aspects still required refinement. As a 5-star-plus resort, we anticipated a more personalized service experience and elevated dining from one of the island’s most highly rated hotels.. Nonetheless, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay, with moments of excellence that hint at the full potential of the Shangri-La name.

Expensive but worth every penny. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the service was immaculate. All the good options were great and there was enough choice for our 2 week stay. Highly recommend the golf course too if you have time.

Our stay at Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius (2025) was truly beyond exceptional — heartfelt, personal, and deeply memorable. Her care, energy, and dedication were unmatched. She went above and beyond every single day to make sure we were comfortable and happy, often anticipating our needs before we even asked. Her presence genuinely made our stay special, and she deserves all the recognition for her outstanding service. The concierge team was also amazing, offering excellent recommendations and taking care of all our bookings and activities with efficiency and grace. The dedicated WhatsApp service was incredibly convenient — fast, responsive, and always handled with a personal touch. Every request, from spa bookings to small daily needs, was managed flawlessly. Our room was spacious, serene, and beautifully maintained — the perfect escape in paradise. The beach team made every activity fun and easy, and the culinary experience, especially at TSK, was filled with warmth, flavor, and care. Shangri-La Mauritius is more than a resort — it’s a place where people truly care. Every staff member left a positive impression, and we’re so thankful for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return.

We were looked after so well so I wish to tell you how fabulous the staff are in particular the lovely ladies who looked after our room in the Coral area of the hotel.||A big thank you to Sabrina & Sweety, such a pleasure to meet them||In concierge we dealt most or the time with Lindly. He is so helpful with help and information with a great smile!||In TSK buffet restaurant where breakfast is served I would like to thank Sharda, Davita, Snita & a young trainee (blue shirt) who served us coffee & tea everyday at breakfast. They really looked after my wife & I.
