Shangri-La Phnom Penh

This hotel is only about a year old, and it’s beautiful. Our room was gorgeous. The fitness room is large and well furnished with machines; additionally it has wonderful views of the city and water. The pool is really beautiful and also has great views.|Breakfast was excellent with numerous options. We also had Christmas Eve dinner in the restaurant which was an experience—so many delicious things to eat.|The bar area is pretty, but was very quiet. |All staff we encountered were helpful and kind. In fact, we felt like everyone went ‘above and beyond’ to make sure we had a good stay.|We would definitely stay here again.

Shangri-La Phnom Penh is an outstanding newly built hotel that immediately impresses with its excellent location and refined modern design. As a brand-new property, it offers immaculate, elegant spaces that feel both fresh and timeless.||One of the highlights is undoubtedly the spectacular views from the higher floors—especially from the Horizon Club and the pool, which provide stunning panoramas of Phnom Penh’s skyline and horizon. It is a perfect setting for both relaxation and quiet moments at sunset.||The staff truly elevate the experience. Lonic from the concierge was exceptional in assisting us with delayed luggage, handling the situation efficiently and with genuine care. Barang Oeum from reception was equally impressive—warm, professional, and always attentive. This level of personal service defines true luxury hospitality.

Wonderful experience with Shangri-La Phnom Penh and the lovely hotel team! I emailed them a week before to request for select room arrangements and all of them were thoughtfully and carefully executed. The team fully understood my requests - I have stayed in several 5/6-star hotels across Asia and Shangri-La Phnom Penh has definitely taken the full effort to understand their guests’ travel needs and deliver on them. I am thoroughly impressed by the Shangri-La team - it’s my very first time staying with this hotel group, and I will definitely highly recommend it to all my family and friends! Beyond that, Shangri-La delivers on its hotel comfort - it’s not the kind of modern fancy hotel that has the newest minimalist architecture (it’s more old world luxury), so you can be guaranteed a good and comfortable night’s rest when you return after a long day of city exploring. The showers work amazing (no random hot/cold bursts of water), the floors are properly carpeted to reduce sound, housekeeping is discrete and understands/delivers when the guest has certain requests. Probably one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in the past few years - and will highly recommend to anyone traveling to Phnom Penh.

We stayed for a week in December and loved it. The hotel is new so everything is in pristine condition. The room was large with plenty of space and included a nightly turndown service. The shower area was large with great water pressure. ||Breakfast was served in a bright area overlooking the Mekong with an abundance of fresh options to choose from. The Horizon Club was available for afternoon tea/coffee/ snacks and the evening hours included drinks and canapés. The Horizon Club sitting area is absolutely stunning and offers amazing views of the sun setting on the city. ||The gym is in a huge area with new equipment allowing for decent workouts during our stay. The concierge staff assisted with luggage, booked a trip in the city, and was always available to answer questions with a smile. ||Many of the staff members throughout the hotel are new to their positions and in a training phase. |Each one we encountered provided the most friendly service with a smile at all times. They are going to be super star employees very soon! ||Thanks to Managers Calvin, Stephen, and the rest of the Shangri La staff for making our Christmas stay in Phnom Penh a good one. Beautiful hotel newly opening in the middle of Phnom Penh city. A perfect spot for tourists and people who love to stay inside inner city down town which is close to everything. The service is amazing, the location is perfect and the food is delicious. The rooms are specious and clean and beautiful, I really love the gym facilities, and rooftop restaurants.

Great and very warm welcome by the entire Shangri La Phnom Penh team. Special Thanks to Mr Odi (General Manager) and Mr Calvin (Rooms Division Manager) for their exceptional welcome. The house keeping department was doing amazing job taking care of Suite 4513 during my stay. Shang Palace dinner was so delicious. Breakfast buffet is so much good. Ground floor cafe is very good. Reception level bar and restaurant was so nice. Gym/Spa is great and the treatment at the spa was relaxing. Definitely 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An exceptional hotel with world-class service. The staff’s attention to detail especially Barang Oeum he warmth and professionalism made our stay unforgettable. The room was immaculate with the perfect decoration for our baby daughter first oversea holiday A true five-star experience we can’t wait to return.

The view from the hotel is good. The hotel is still very new and only just passed 1 year since its opening. The staff are generally very attentive and friendly trying their best to serve. The selection of drinks and food offered during cocktail hour is a bit too limited. Overall they still have some room to catch up with other Shangrila outlets but I spent a good time here.
