Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore

We stayed at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa for 11 days and had a wonderful time. The service was spectacular, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the stay feel effortless. We also used room service, which was convenient and consistently good. A really nice touch was the small goodies and little treats they left in our room, those thoughtful details made us feel very welcomed. It’s also incredibly family-oriented with lots to do for kids: a kids’ club, a kids’ pool, and plenty of activities, including on the beach. Our little ones enjoyed every single day during our stay. Breakfast was another highlight, fantastic with many different options and something for everyone. Overall, a great choice for families and we’d happily return.

Location of the hotel is very beautiful. Many things to walk and explore. Even though it says, only beach resort, beach is not real beach and the water their is very dirty. Housekeeping and in room dining team were so good, kind and on time always. Big thanks to these two teams. Even the chefs in the breakfast area were so kind and welcoming. Worst ones were the pool bar staffs and front desk staffs, they were not very friendly and don't care even if you are with your family with young kids. Beware, pool bar staff wont hand you the menu if you are on the other side of the counter, you need to go get it by yourself. This is my first experience from a five star rated hotel. Even when asked for a beer half of the beer was foam, he didn't even cared to remove and fill properly. Overall i didn't feel any 5start hotel experience from this place. Have to agree that the view from the room was amazing. Keeping the rude staffs behavior aside, If you are a nature lover, this is the best place.

We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa from 25 December 2025 to 2 January 2026. We were travelling with children, and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, very family-friendly, with a great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities. The beach, pools, and overall surroundings are perfect for a relaxing family holiday. We would like to give special thanks to the housekeeping staff, especially the cleaning lady who took care of room 906. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and did an outstanding job every day. Her warmth and professionalism truly made our stay even more pleasant and memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so enjoyable. We would be very happy to return and highly recommend this hotel to families with children.

We’ve just returned from a family holiday at Shangri-La Sentosa and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Perfect for kids, yet still elegant and relaxing for parents who actually want to feel like they’re on holiday too. There was so much to do with the kids that we didn’t even use the kids’ club — the pool alone kept everyone entertained for hours. We stayed four nights and honestly could have stayed seven. The pool was amazing, and a huge shout-out to Gary and the lifeguard team who were always attentive and made sure the kids were safe at all times. The fun team organising pool games was a highlight — the kids were entertained while Mum enjoyed a pina colada and Dad finally had time to read a book. Bliss. The location is fantastic. Universal Studios is only a five-minute free bus ride away, and the resort itself feels like a tropical sanctuary. The gardens are beautiful and we loved spotting the wildlife around the property. Our ground-floor room with two double beds was extremely comfortable. One bed was a sofa pull-out, but it was surprisingly comfortable, and the linen was excellent — something I’m quite fussy about. Special thanks to Ann, who made our stay even more comfortable by promptly providing extra doonas and towels whenever we needed them. She was always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, Ann. We will absolutely be back. Shangri-La Sentosa truly strikes the perfect balance between family fun and genuine relaxation.

Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa is an excellent choice for a relaxed and fun-filled family holiday. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for families, with lovely views and easy access to the resort facilities.|The food was very good, with a variety of options and a decent vegetarian spread. The special kids’ buffet was a delightful touch, thoughtfully curated and much loved by the children. Dining felt easy and enjoyable for the whole family.|The pool and splash pad were a big hit with the kids, offering hours of safe and exciting water fun. A major convenience is the shuttle service, which makes traveling to Universal Studios and other Sentosa attractions extremely easy and hassle-free.|The staff truly stand out — warm, courteous, and always ready to assist, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The beachfront location adds to the charm, with direct access to a clean, peaceful beach and beautiful sea views. Overall, Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa perfectly combines comfort, family-friendly amenities, and excellent service. Highly recommended for families visiting Sentosa.

This resort is exactly what I expected, I wanted a place for my son to have a good time, very kids friendly, lots of free activities for kids recommended age 3 to 12. The facilities are a bonus (free laundramat 😉) In room dinning is delicious, breakfast buffet is just perfect. Staff and especially the in room cleaners are very polite. Will be back.

This hotel is 10/10. All the staff is so friendly and helpful. There are a lot of fun stuff to do at the hotel and near it. Basically, the location is great! The beach view is spectacular and relaxing. Their breakfast menu was excellent with a variety of options like Japanese, Chinese, Singaporean, Indian cuisine and a lot more. My family had a great and memorable time and will definitely stay again(longer).

It's our 3rd time at Shangrila Sentosa and the kids absolutely loved it. Rooms were clean and spacious albeit slightly run down but overall still good. The hotel pool with slides were great for the kids and lots of water activities to do for free at the beach.The shallow pool is warm and very good for kids as some parts were only ankle deep, making it easy for babies and toddlers to play in. The kids club provided a good place for the kids to hang out during the afternoon heat. Breakfast and dinner buffet spread were good and quality of food is above average. There is a kids section at the buffet which is well thought and kids enjoyed taking their own food. Overall a great family oriented beachfront resort packed with activities for the kids and we were fully occupied for 2 full days at the resort. Will definitely recommend to families with young kids.
