In all our years of traveling, our recent stay at Shangri-La The Fort has been one of the most memorable we’ve ever had.||What made it so special wasn’t just the beautiful spaces or the wonderful amenities — it was the people. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. We’re not celebrities by any stretch, but the way the staff treated us made us feel as if we were.||At breakfast in the High Street Café, Wilmae, Jessebel, Kyli, and Sofia always greeted us with warm smiles, remembering little details and surprising us with treats that made each morning feel extra special. ||Housekeeping, led by Gio and Jo, kept our room in perfect order — but what truly touched us was the joy they brought to our 6-year-old. Each day, they would leave a “towel animal” for him to discover. He would rush excitedly back to the room, eager to see what new creation awaited him. His favorite was the adorable pair of teddy bear twins.||By the pool, lifeguard Noel made sure our son had a wonderful time and Carl was always attentive and kind.||And at the Poolside Café, Ian, Ymann, and especially Jom looked after us with such care. On our last dinner, Jom even arranged a special Bon Voyage dessert — a gesture that meant so much to us and made our farewell bittersweet.||To the management team, we wanted to share just how much your people made our stay extraordinary. It wasn’t only about excellent service — it was the way they anticipated our needs, remembered the little things, and treated us with such warmth that we felt completely at home. They turned simple moments into treasured memories for our family, especially for our 6-year-old, who will always remember the towel animals and the friends he made here. You can be so proud of the team you’ve built — their genuine care and kindness are what set Shangri-La The Fort apart, and why this visit will remain one of our most cherished travel experiences.
