Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji

The motel was a beautiful place. Everything was clean. All the staff were very helpful and polite extremely friendly. The manager takes time to speak to you. The only downside is the travelling to get to somewhere when you get out of the resort but overall great place to stay.

This resort is pretty nice and well maintained. The greeter Napoleon and all the other staff are amazing and kind. In general, the resort itself is older than most resorts and it costs quite a bit. The room was cleaned very well, stocked, and there are a few food options. Buffets are amazing, lots of varieties, and service is great. Pool and facilities are good. Beach access right there as well.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The trip was very relaxing. The rooms although definitely need a renovation if you’re staying with kids. The adult only rooms are newly renovated but the rooms for families are very dated so I really hope they renovate them soon so we can come back as the actual resort is beautiful. We did have a good time though.

Very friendly staff but getting a bit dated. This was our second visit and not much has changed. That is not a bad thing for this hotel as we had a lovely time but rooms and ammentities are looking and feeling a bit dated. With two pools open to families, unless you are staying in the Reef wing, things tended to get quite busy. Food options were a good standard but were somewhat limited. What makes this hotel for us is the staff who have always been welcoming and super helpful and accomodating. Loved our stay but might look for a new option when we are next in Fiji.

The most wonderful Fijian hospitality. Great Ocean view ground floor room 902. Loved the large property with great pools, a variety of restaurants, lots of activities, great kids club, love the New Year’s Eve and day celebrations. Would love to return for new years. Reception and rooms could do with a refurb but the great property and staff outweigh that need for now. Kids loved it and didn’t want to leave. The staff are truly the highlight.

The staff at Shangri La Fiji are beyond outstanding. The ocean view ground floor rooms are wonderful for families. We had 902. The coral, sea life and beaches are stunning. The variety of restaurants, great kids club, a few pools and lots of activities makes this place, the one to choose for your next Fiji holiday. ||Special mention to the following staff who made our stay unforgettable, John and the team who assist with luggage and their beautiful singing, ainslie (buggy driver) Sereima, Kele, Selai, Serruwaia, Waqa, the team at Golden Cowrie, evening kids club ladies, the guy at the beach education centre and the Chi day spa team also thank you for an amazing New Year’s Eve event.

Lovely stay! The staff are all very kind and welcoming. Rooms/furniture slightly outdated, but didn’t bother us. We loved swimming and snorkelling through the coral, and loved that every room had a view of the water 🥰 We would highly recommend paying a bit extra for full board (to have all meals included) - this was great bang for our buck!! Ps. very thoughtful that they had a families + an adults only breakfast option!

Rooms were fairly standard but good. Location was excellent, with beautiful beaches, great pools, and good views across the lagoons to the outer reefs. Fish would mob you in the water if you had a little bread. Great snorkelling, even for the older tourist. The staff are very friendly with a smile and helpful attitude.
