We came in just for lunch, and yes — the food was absolutely delicious — but it turned out to be so much more than just a meal. We were a bit unsure about our next steps, and what started as asking for a bit of advice turned into a long, friendly, and even deep conversation.
We learned about the story behind the restaurant and the genuine passion for making every guest’s visit tasty and memorable. Since we had nowhere to be (we’d already seen Agra’s landmarks and were waiting for our night bus), they kindly let us stay until night, making sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Meanwhile, the owner even arranged a henna tattoo for my girlfriend — a beautiful way to experience a bit of Indian culture during our wait.
In the middle of the busy, sometimes overwhelming streets of Agra, we found a little pocket of peace — a place that felt like home, far away from home.
