I found Shanti Home in a search for hotels safe for women traveling alone, and I ended up going back a second time because it was such a nice place to stay. It's small, friendly, clean, comfortable, quiet, and convenient. Staff at the hotel were excellent--from front desk to restaurant. I was coming back to the hotel alone in the dark, so I asked for an escort and they provided a very friendly staff member. One point of caution: travel advising services. The hotel is excellent, and travel planning just isn't their specialty. I would recommend reaching out to a travel company if you'd like help planning a trip. The tour guides the driver Shanti Home provided me took me to overpriced, pushy private stores. I felt uncomfortable. I had much better shopping experiences at markets and walking streets shopping alone.

The place is a perfect blend of home+ hotel+ air bnb. There is a unique feel of peace and calmness to the place, beautiful decor and theme of the Almighty adorns the place. The staff of very courteous & hospitable, takes care of the dietary requirements quite pro-actively. Super clean and hygienic environment, keep up the great spirit, thanks fir the great experience👍

I have to dedicate the first lines of my review to the owners of this beautiful Hotel and the amazing hospitality vision they have inscribed in every single person who works there. The owners are in the hotel almost everyday treating every single guest like royalty. The amount of care, art and effort they have invested in this hotel shows up in every corner. Every room is themed after an region in India, the food is just amazing, the drinks menu is even better. Everything in the hotel is personalized, even if you want the restaurant chef to cool you your own meal. I highly recommend Shanti Home, it will be your an amazing base to launch an amazing vacation in India.

Room spotless, well decorated in handicrafts (one up in chain hotels), bathroom likewise and staff extremely eager to help with the merest detail. Lent us a mobile and we used it for them to guide the taxi driver carrying out some back to the hotel. Booked us a driver, then phoned him regularly to ensure we were okay. Rooftop restaurant was a lovely way to spend a busy day. Food was served hygienically and competently and was solid rather than gourmet. Live music very welcome and went from the fairly mediocre to the truly engaging.

What a lovely place to stay! We stayed there for the first nights of our honeymoon and it couldn't have been nicer. The staff is the friendliest ever, always there, nothing is ever a problem. The restaurant up the top is super super tasty, they even made us a wedding cake. Their driver is a legend as well, who have us a great tour of Delhi and brought us down to the Taj Mahal. I honestly couldn't recommend this place any more. If you want to feel welcomed in India, this is where you have to stay! Thanks to the entire Shanti staff again.

Pleasant stay Genuine place to stay in Delhi. Very helpful staff especially Pooja and a lovely terrace restaurant. I spent 4 nights altogether over a three week period in differently themed rooms which are delightful. This was the best hotel I stayed in whilst in India. I am definitely going to return to this calming Oasis in an otherwise brilliant but highly populated city.

The hotel and the staff, who was very friendly and did everything possible to make their guest stay convenient. The rooms are charming, the missing TV did not disturb us at all. There is a free wireless internet connection on the first floor, and the restaurant on the roof top patio is excellent.

The staff at Shanti Home made us feel very welcome from the start. Mr Anil was very welcoming and could not do enough for us. We had a wonderful cookery lesson with the shy but experienced chef Narandra, and had a great Ayurveda massage in the small spa area. The food was fresh and the rooms clean and comfortable. The location was a little out of town and the downside was that it meant that we spent a lot of time in the Delhi traffic before and after sightseeing
