Google
Great service and excellent boba. Went with a friend to grab a quick taro milk tea and it was perfect! The boba was soft and my taro milk was 50% sugar with regular ice. Walked out painting less than $8 for a large cup.

Google
My family has a shop around the corner about 13 minutes walking distance from this spot. My sister ordered drinks for the coworkers and I went to pick it up. I was not disappointed the Thai milk tea is to die for. I will definitely come back to try the classic milk tea. Service was great. Clean facilities too. In the heart of Chinatown DC.

Google
7/10. Good bubble tea and a variety of other flavours too! Fast and efficient, and get the large drink size if you’re ordering on the kiosk. Medium is actually small here.

Jennifer Lemke

Google
Really delicious! I got the mango passion fruit green tea (50% sweet) and added boba. Loved the flavor and would definitely get again

Celestia Celestino

Google
I love the brand, however I ordered the golden retriever which is supposed to come with many toppings, yet when I received mine, it had close to none! A new level of disappointment.

Google
As for my tea experience, I usually enjoy bubble tea with a strong tea flavor. This time, I ordered the unsweetened milk tea series, but it seems like they added too much water. I hope this can be improved in the future.

Google
This place is cool. Great Taro .

Google
A tiny bubba milk tea place. You can order by QR code or self order machine. A good place to get a little drink. But they don’t have tables and enough chairs for relaxing.

Yelp
Was in the mood for some boba in the area and I personally like Sharetea's drinks, so I decided to order. Located just a short walk from the Chinatown gate, you will have to go down a short set of stairs. There is no seating area. Just smart tablets for ordering and a small area to stand for picking up. I got a Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea and it tasted just as expected and consistent with other Shareteas I've been to. Service was fine, no complaints! All in all, a pretty straight forward bubble tea chain and overall good quality if you're looking for something with a few more topping options like a scoop of ice cream and mini bubbles as well as the normal sized bubbles.

Yelp
This tiny garden-level boba shop is tucked away deep in DC's Chinatown. Once you walk down the stairs, you're greeted by a self-order kiosk... and not much else. There's no seating while you're wait , so find a spot to stand in the narrow hallway while you await your drink! The sweetness scale swings towards the milder side than what I'm used to. I usually get 50% sweet elsewhere, but 50% sweet here was hardly sweet at all - my honey green tea had a very strong tea flavor. Order accordingly, I would probably do 80% sweet if I were to come back. The portion size for the boba topping was also quite small given the size of the drink, but I can never have enough boba! The boba itself was a nice and chewy texture.

Yelp
Heard this was THE boba place to try in Chinatown. The spot is cute but can get crowded quickly. You order via kiosk which is nice because you can do all your preferences for sweetness, ice, types of bubbles, etc. I got a matcha latte but was disappointed the only special matcha type they had was red bean. I was hoping for a fruity add on to it. Came out quickly and the staff behind the counter was nice. The tapioca bubbles were a little tougher than the king fu tea I had ordered earlier in the day and this place was a little pricier too.

Yelp
One of the few bubble tea establishments in DC Chinatown. It is a very small space, slightly hidden (need to walk down a few steps) a block away from the Chinatown Arch on H Street. There is no seating inside. There are two kiosks at the counter where you can place your order. We ordered the Tropical Fruit Tea and Boba with Fresh Milk. Both drinks were very good. The Tropical Fruit Tea was very refreshing, and the Boba with Fresh Milk hit the spot!

Yelp
A few of us stopped by for Sharetea after dinner nearby. My friend says Sharetea is his favorite boba in DC. The space is pretty small (very little to no interior seating, and definitely more of a grab-and-go kind of shop). They also have a couple kiosks to order which makes it more convenient. I got the classic black milk tea with pearls (30% ice and 30% honey -- I like that I can choose honey and not sugar here) and the drink was the standard large size (that I usually am not able to finish). It's not too sweet and the customizations were perfect for me. This Sharetea location is one of the better ones I've tried in terms of drinks.

Yelp
Great staff and an even better selection of boba, tea, iced, etc. The kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly was my favorite; make sure to get a loyalty card for stamps! It can get a bit cramped inside ordering if it gets busy, but this is one of the best bubble tea places over ever gone to. As a bonus, you can also swap sugar for honey as a sweetener which is something you don't normally see!

Yelp
Step up your boba game by stepping down into this boba shop. Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon pictures decorate the stairs and walls of this shop. Staff is helpful, and there are touch screens that you can use to order, too. Boba was tasty, too!
google avatar

Angelynn J.

Yelp
You can order from them or use one of the kiosk inside. I had their strawberry milk tea. My milk tea was really tasty. It's a pretty small place so I just got a Togo order.

Yelp
The drinks were good. I liked ordering from the app without needing a login!!! The drinks are a bit hard to search, we wanted an ice cream drink and had to fiddle with it to find a drink that fell into our specification. The drinks were pretty quick, and tasty. Would recommend.

Yelp
My daughters were craving a boba tea. I looked up on Yelp and found this place getting a great review. This place is one block off from Capital One arena. The shop is located at the basement level. I got an NYC vibe. You can order from the mobile app or touch screen at the shop. I like this place because you can select how much sugar and many kinds of bubbles. My daughters had Green milk tea and I had a coffee milk tea. I am crazy about the very sweet formed milk on the top, but the quality of the tea is very decent. I will definitely come back to this place.
google avatar

Yelp
What can I say... it has everything the ShareTea in San Jose has including my fav aiyu jelly!!!! Stuck to my regular drink - peach kiwi with aiyu, 50% sweet, no ice. Tasted as it should, the way I like it.

Yelp
I've been to sharetea a few times but this was my first Thai tea from them and it's among the best I've tried. I ordered Thai milk tea with pearls, regular ice level, 30% sugar and it's the perfect balance between milkiness, tea taste and boba! Highly recommend. My preference and criteria for a good boba place is that I need to be able to taste the tea, rather than just a sugary drink though.

Yelp
Tiny milk tea shop with no seating inside. Ordered a real taro milk slush and the taro was in chunky hard pieces. Small pieces but wished for a more cooked and smooth texture. Not bad though. Conveniently located in Chinatown near the CapOne Arena!

Yelp
* 8.5/10 * Since dessert is MANDATORY after any meal of that matter, we chose to get some boba. The Strawberry ice blended boba with lychee jelly and ice cream was the perfect mix of flavors. We were glad that they had DF milk options such as almond milk, which was our milk substitute for the matcha creama. We enjoyed both bobas and would come back again! ^@kamibites on Instagram

Yelp
Came here for after dinner drinks. Got a classic black boba tea. Very standard as far as tea joint goes. Good tea taste. Nothing special about the boba. I got the tropical fruit tea. It taste orangy and my son who is super picky enjoyed it. The only thing i didnt like was that there is only one standard size for the drinks. It was late when we got them and i would have prefer a smaller size
google avatar

Tanni D.

Yelp
This is a super small, but cute bubble tea shop. Please note that you have to order via their app, where the prices of the drinks are slightly higher than the cost advertised in the store. We ordered the Mango Green Milk Tea and Kiwi Fruit Tea with Aiyu Jelly, and both were ready in less than 10 minutes. The latter had only 30% sugar and yet it was way too sweet, while the Mango Green Milk Tea tasted artificial.

Casey Lyn B.

Yelp
Had a long wait time to a new Sushi spot that is down the street, so we decided to get some bubble tea on a hot, summer day. Just got the Hawaii Drink and it was very refreshing and sweet. Deff hit the spot. Wait time was very exceptional, had to order and buy your drink via online due to COVID.

Yelp
Order: - Oolong Fresh Milk Tea with Pearls(4/5) - Passion Fruit Green Tea with Lychee Jelly (4/5) Pros: - Tasty drinks - Lots of options to choose from - Quick service Cons: - Must order online or through the app - No seating Overall: - Great bubble tea spot to grab a drink at while walking through DC

Yelp
The donuts are incredible! So delicious! Especially the fruit ones. And everyone is friendly, warm, and welcoming! Love the tatertots, too!
google avatar

Carroll N.

Yelp
Great tasting bubble tea with options to customize your preference for the level of ice and sweetness. You can also add toppings. I was surprised to see how big the portion size was. Currently they are not taking walk-in orders. You have to place your orders online. It took longer than the ten to fifteen minutes that we were told for our order of three to be prepared, but it was worth the wait if you have a hankering for it. Lol
google avatar

Yelp
Make sure to place your order online. You can't order in the storefront. The mango passion fruit tea with lychee jelly was delicious!

Yelp
yummy!i love mango green tea with aloe,30% sugar. And self order machine is so good! Like this place

Yelp
we were in the mood for some boba while visiting DC. i was surprised that there aren't many milk tea spots in the city, but we found sharetea and decided to come here since we are very familiar with the chain back in the bay area (plus i worked there in high school!) this tiny shop is located in chinatown below ground level. they currently only take online orders so be sure to order through their website before arriving. we ordered online and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. // order // jasmine milk tea with pearls (30% sweet, less ice) $5.50 a classic green milk tea, the drink tasted as i remember it tasting back home. pearls were good and chewy. 30% was enough sweetness. sharetea's drinks are also a large i would definitely recommend sharetea as they are consistent and it seems to be the cheapest boba in the DC area as well.

Yelp
This was so good! My friend recommended that we come here after he tried the Sharetea in LA and it did not disappoint. There's no seating and you'll need to order from your phone through a QR code, as a heads up. Okinawa Pearl (30% sugar and boba): so good! It's so flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness. One of my friends got this with 50% sugar and we both agreed it was too sweet. Mango and passion fruit green tea (30% sugar): really good if you're looking for a non-milk option for boba tea! Even though we got it as 30% sweet it was still pretty sweet, but nonetheless delicious!

Yelp
Very cute Super slay Nice scervice Yass 10/10 would recommend Good tea Good scervice Good vibes

Yelp
I love red velvet, so I had to try their Red Fusion. It's a good drink if you're feeling like drinking your dessert! I'm not sure I would be able to identify the flavor blindfolded, but it's pretty good--it's not the most or least red velvet-y thing I've had. There's even a slight milk tea taste that's nice. The graham cracker crumbs (I think that's what they are) on the bottom went really well with the drink.
google avatar

Megan W.

Yelp
I like the boba here, but do not love the physical shop. Sharetea is slightly hidden; you have to walk down a few steps to the entrance. There is basically no room to wait for your drink inside. You walk in and the counter is right there. They also haven't started taking orders at the register; instead, you have to order online. However, your drink comes out pretty fast! It's just unfortunate that there isn't space to hang out like other boba spots.
google avatar

Ijeoma O.

Yelp
Small spot, it better to order ahead so once you get there you can just go in, grab your drink and go. My friend whose a boba addict/connoisseur claims this is the best boba spot in the dc area. Ive come here try with her and really enjoyed the boba drinks I ordered. There's always people here, always a line, and I completely understand why.
google avatar

Jess W.

Yelp
Good bubble tea and the online ordering was easy enough! Super convenient and they were very attentive with COVID-19 as you're asked to wait outside until your order is ready as it's a relatively small space. Also, sushi is from Momiji's.
google avatar

Bobbi D.

Yelp
Can't order in store - have to order online and pickup only. I got the taro - which was good but not sweet enough in my opinion (I got regular - you can get sweeter as an option).
google avatar

Joanne S.

Yelp
I'm still appalled that this is one of the only boba spots in Chinatown but it hits the spot, so I'm not complaining! Winter melon fresh milk (4.5/5): I asked for 30% honey as the sweetener but I still found it quite sweet. Maybe next time I'll try it without sweetener, as I am aware that the Wintermelon itself is quite sweetened. I've had their passionfruit tea before which is quite refreshing and their Hokkaido milk tea is quite decadent but delicious!

Yelp
I liked this place because... You can order quick online. The prices are reasonable. The taste was great. They have a huge menu. Their service is fast.

Yelp
Worst share tea location experience :( Hurts me to write this because I love the sharetea chain and make it a point of going when there is one in a city I am visiting. I went here twice during my short DC trip and the drinks were not good. First time I got my usual QQ happy family milk tea and second time I got the coffee milk tea with boba. Both drinks had no flavor at all. No tea or coffee taste to them. I felt like I was just drinking water. The location is also not like any other sharetea I have been to. This is definitely more grab and go type of place. But even so, it's super cramped inside where you have to order and wait to pick it up. The staff here is also not friendly. They messed up my order and rolled their eyes at me when they tried to give me a "kiwi tea" and I said I got the "QQ happy family". No smiles or anything from them. At least the toppings like boba were good and this place works with the "ritual" app that makes online app ordering an easier process than in person.
google avatar

Shannon L.

Yelp
Been to a few Sharetea in the states and was very surprised and happy to see that they had this cute Golden Retriever option on their menu, it's similar to their happy family QQ milk tea I think - all the toppings including boba, pearls, pudding, and grass jelly. However I thought it was quite pricey for boba despite my drink of choice. Still satisfied my boba craving for sure though.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Such good bubble tea! Loved the quick service. Bubbly boooooooo!!! Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum hee hee hahaha. Seriously, yea this tea saved my entire bloodline
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
Loved the Honey Milk Tea with Pearl (Honey (80%))! Perfect balance between fresh tea, milk, honey, and springy boba. Tea flavor was strong and drink wasn't too milky or sweet.
google avatar

Seanniece B.

Yelp
....meh. First off, there's really no reason this place doesn't have a larger sitting area. The design is off. Anyhoo, the peach mojito in itself was fine (too many limes) but they really lack variety in milks for tea or at least communicating what they offer. I asked them if they had any plant based milks and the guy just pointed me to the disclaimer that if you have allergies you should be cautious about dining. Initially I thought, "okay, fair" only to later see that they did in fact have almond milk. I'll stick to Kung Fu tea. They're more hospitable there and the menu is detailed.
google avatar

Meili L.

Yelp
Solid bubble tea place in Chinatown. I always thought it was ironic for not having a place that sells just bubble tea in Chinatown before Sharetea. There is only 1 drink size and it's large! I like their classic milk tea with 50% sugar level. Very authentic Taiwanese bubble tea. I also like their boba itself because it's chewy and sweet.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
Good boba! The tea itself leaves something to be desired. Great customer service! Make sure you get a stamp card.
google avatar

Kat L.

Yelp
I was looking for a good bubble tea place in Washington DC area and this place really hit the spot! There was a line outside so it's pretty much says it all. You have to order online first and then wait to pick it up. I got the classic black milk tea with herbal jelly. I ended up with boba in my drink as well and I didn't order it. It was a really good drink even though I didn't like the boba. I would go back there next time I'm in DC.
google avatar

Tracy N.

Yelp
Small shop. No place to sit and chill. Didn't like that we had to order online and still get charged with a service fee. Originally the online order said it was going to take 20 mins but we stood around for maybe 5 and it was ready. Had we gone somewhere else and came back for it, the ice would have probably melted and the drink could have came out bad. I've been to many sharetea locations and this one was probably the worst.
google avatar

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
The milk tea green tea is honestly pretty amazing. I think what makes this boba better is that the boba actually has a sweetened flavor in of itself Tried the black tea milk tea upon return. It is great too but the green tea is better in my opinion. Tried the ginger tea this time. Not as good as the others in my opinion. The flavor was great like ginger, but the grit of the ginger fiber was in the beverage. I am convinced it was made from fresh ginger which is great but texturally, I wouldn't order it again. 9/9 tried the mango green tea creama. It was certainly not bad, but the cream unexpectedly tasted like butter with the more fruity taste of the tea. I didn't really care for the combo, but still stand by you can't go wrong with the green fresh milk tea het 9/13 I tried the Thai tea, oh wow! It was extremely tasty and had quite a good caffeine boost. I would definitely say this is a good flto try for sure. 10/6 I tried the ice blended thai tea-very refreshing, possibility better than the regular Thai milk tea. My parents tried the strawberry ice blended tea. I personally did not care for that one- it was extremely sweet and the strawberry tasted artificial.
google avatar

I-Lin L.

Yelp
Very small little shop that you have to go downstairs from the street to get to. There is no seating inside. But the boba teas are awesome! I love how you can choose your ice level and sugar level to customize your drink. The menu is clearly labeled with the different options and the recommended favorites. I got the QQ Happy Family milk tea with less ice, 50% sweet. It came with 6 toppings, yum! There is only one size drink, and it's huge! Love it.
google avatar

Molly L.

Yelp
No seating area here and there was a good amount of business with like 10 people coming in after us and another 10 coming in as we were leaving, which is a lot of customers in a 20 minute span. My drink was super sweet even though I asked for 30% sweetness. I was in a sugar daze afterwards and I think it might be because I had both grass jelly and boba and that made it sweeter. I got the mango milk tea with no ice and my partner got the milk tea with boba and pudding. I guess the cold drink made my boba not soft, but I was surprised because I've had ice softer boba even with ice and my drink was way too sweet. The pudding in my partner's drink melted too I guess bc it was a warm drink. If we could go back, we would order only one drink and "share" our teas. The sizes are far too big and drinks too sweet not to share. I don't like that they don't ask or have the option to get smaller drinks.

Daniel G.

Yelp
This was a very good tea, the best tea some might say. I will gladly come again to buy more tea
google avatar

Kat Z.

Yelp
Super fast service! I think their drinks are in the sweet side so order a lower sugar level than usual here

Meta Y.

Yelp
Very nice staff. very efficient. got orders out before promised time. ordered three drinks. 2- Hawaiian fruit drink: tasted tropical juices+ just right sweetness + nice full tall glass + but did not look like menu photo - barely had any pieces of fruit - slightly disappointed but still worth getting (good price). + 1 Happy Family (milk tea w/ lychee, aiyu, red beans,...) tasted just right + too skimpy on the included toppings - sweetness right on point + good size drink + 1 strawberry blend w lychees & ice cream almost prefect +++ needed just a little more lychee. this was my first experience there. My family picked up my order. this review also includes their view of the quality & service.
google avatar

Adam Y.

Yelp
As the only boba tea shop in Chinatown, the location was less than ideal and the inside was quite tight. Customers needed to scan the QR code to access the menu, place and pay for the order. The teas here were not as sweet as Kung Fu Tea and I always added more sugar to suit my taste. I liked their slush more than their more popular boba teas though.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Was casually strolling Chinatown when I saw a bunch of people gathered outside! Yelped it, and placed an order. It was only my second time trying Boba tea, so I don't have much to compare it to. It was good, I ordered the Okinawa and really enjoyed the brown sugar flavor, and the less sugar was KEY. Downside was it took about 20 minutes from the time I placed my order, to receive it. So prepare and plan ahead if you're heading their way!
