Nice decoration. A bit of wait as there were two staff on a not so busy Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed the banana chocolate milk. Passion fruit drink was a bit sweeter, tasted refreshing though. Really like the monthly special drinks idea with the cute decal discount artwork.

I love coming here for a little treat! Boba is always great and one thing I always notice is how fast the drinks are ready which I appreciate.

I always get the classic milktea for every boba store I go to. The boba was good and soft, but the milk tea was a bit bland needs more flavor and sugar I guess. But the Mango smoothie was good tho!

Personally, I think boba is overrated… but Eva Logan is probably the best customer service rep I’ve ever met. Worth going to this place just to talk to her. 10/10 would recommend having her make your next drink.

I’ve come in here at least a dozen times each time the customer service is worse than before. This is for sure not the drink I asked for. Then the cashier had the audacity to get frustrated with me because I told her I paid extra for a topping and asked for my drink to be made a specific way and she flat out told me no, that’s not their recipe.

This is my favorite share tea to go to because the workers are so nice! Especially when I came in on Saturday, the worker Monique was great.

I was just stopping in for a bit of Boba. I ordered a classic pearl milk tea with 100% sweetness. It came out, made with 50% sweetness. And that may not seem like a big deal, but 50% sweetness vs 100% Percent sweetness is a very big difference. But that isn’t even the worst part. I told them about this and asked if they could maybe remake it, but no. Instead, they told me tough and I could buy another one, if I need to. Terrible customer service. Don’t waste your time going here!!

The rose milk tea is amazing and made with tiny dried rose blooms. This is the only location I know of that has it.

Yelp
Review #005 - 2025 I haven't been to this spot for a long while, when it was under Sharetea, because most of their drinks weren't easily adjustable. I was quite happy when I found out the owner decided to move toward their own brand and menu. The first thing that drew me in was the super cute decorations. I am a sucker for all things Instagram-worthy, but I still appreciate good taste. When we showed up on Saturday, April 5th, at around 2:30 PM, the place was pretty quiet so we were able to place our orders right away.' The two young ladies working that day were very sweet and accommodating, as I asked a lot of questions since it was my first time here. I decided to go with the bantha milk, which was very pretty and tasty. Maybe a little too tasty, if you ask me. My daughter got the tiger milk with less sweet and she really enjoyed it. We decided to come back again on Friday, April 18th, at noon (right when they opened up) and the owner was working. I went with the strawberry matcha with less sugar and it was very tasty as well. My daughter wanted an egg waffle to go with her drink and she really enjoyed them both. So glad that we decided to give them a try because it's super conveniently located, maybe too convenient for my own good! The owner was very friendly and we got a chance to meet his wife, who stopped by the shop and she was also very friendly. We'll definitely be back...

Yelp
I got several emails from Nine Tailed Fox about their grand/soft opening once they took over the former Sharetea location. My awesome Yelp friend and I came here early in the afternoon. I got the tiger milk with boba and my friend got the peach milk tea with grass jelly. I like that they offer alternative milks (I got almond) and allow you to get less ice/less sweet (I got both). Tiger milk was good but I strongly recommend shaking the cup prior to drinking it. The first few sips had no flavor but once I shook it, I could taste the brown sugar. Prices were a bit cheaper compared to other boba spots we go to. Service was friendly and our drinks were made quickly. When we first arrived, there weren't too many people in the store but as we were getting ready to leave, a medium sized group of kids and parents came. Loved the roses and stuffed lion! The main downsides for us is that their milk tea selection is limited - specifically no taro. That said, they have some unique drinks that we look forward to trying. I want to try the Mad Hatter and I believe that would be especially refreshing in the summertime. The coffee milk tea, waffles, boba sundaes, blue bantha, & mango coconut cloud are items I'd try in the future. Though I wouldn't go out of my way to come here given the somewhat limited menu, I would certainly come back if in Orinda to try some of the items mentioned above.

Yelp
Cute boba shop / cafe. The interior has been revamped and there are several "insta-worthy" spots inside. Drinks were made quickly, and service was efficient. Out of the 4 drinks I've tried, 3 were pretty good, and one was a complete miss. Tried the following- Peach milk tea with grass jelly - nice peach flavor. The less sweet was a bit sweeter than my preference, but was still a yummy and refreshing drink. Classic milk tea with lychee jelly - solid milk tea. Some brown sugar as well. Jelly was good. Coffee milk tea with boba- yummy. If I needed a pick me up with some chewiness, I'd get this again, less sweet. Thai milk tea with boba- honesty the worst Thai milk tea I've ever tried. There was close to zero Thai tea flavor. Tasted like pure sugar with a hint of milky orange. Hopefully this was just an off batch, since it'll be like... zero stars if this was the drink representing the storefront. On separate occasions, the daughter and a friend tried their tiger milk with boba. Not Tiger milk tea (half milk tea half Thai like other places), Tiger milk. No tea. Brown sugar goodness. Not bad, seems to be a popular drink. Daughter said it was too sweet, friend said boba was good. The cups they use don't have that "luxe" feel as the cup and the seal were a bit flimsy, but it's the drink that matters. 4/5 of the drinks were good/mostly alright, hence 4 stars for now.

Yelp
I really wanted to give a higher rating, especially since this is in only boba place in Orinda. However, the quality of drinks was just not there. We've been here twice and both times our drinks were watery and lacked the tea flavor I look for in a good boba spot. In addition, the boba I ordered tasted old and within an hour was hard and crumbly as if I had put it in the fridge over night. The staff is friendly and great, and the location is superb. However, I do not think I will be going back.

Yelp
Milktea is ok but the boba is really good, reminds me of ucha's bomberman boba (rip ucha). just be sure to mix it manually until the brown sugar dissolves unless u want a mouthful of syrup lol

Yelp
You know how hint water is mostly water with a little bit of fruit flavor? Nine tailed fox is mostly water with a hint of boba flavor. It's like the owners said, use half the flavor and half the boba but charge full price. I've had 4 different drinks from here and they were all bland. Do I hate it? No. But I struggle to think of a reason to come back.

Yelp
Cute ambiance and fun selection of drinks. This took over the old boba spot that was here and has less choices but they seem to be higher quality. The blue milk and the blackberry spritzer with no sugar were both very good!

Yelp
In the pantheon of Japanese supernatural beings, the kitsune or nine-tailed fox is a shapeshifting creature, so it makes perfect sense for the former ShareTea to morph into the new Nine Tailed Fox. Featuring bubble tea and snacks, this new establishment is in their soft opening era, as of March 3, 2025.

Yelp
Super good! Excited that there's another great boba shop after sharetea closed. Their boba was cooked perfectly & drinks aren't too sweet.

Yelp
Nine Tailed Fox is the new Boba Tea place here in Orinda. In addition to drinks they also serve snacks, such as bubble waffles, lumpia, and shrimp. They also serve boba ice cream sundaes. Nine Tailed Fox has a more limited drinks menu than some other boba places in the Bay Area, but what they do have sounds creative and yummy, and will appeal to a variety of different fandoms: Butterbeer from Harry Potter, a Star Wars Cantina-inspired drink, etc. I came in for a Thai Tea Milk Tea with boba, and a bubble waffle. Service was fast, friendly, and hospitable. I definitely enjoyed my waffle, a soft and eggy confection which managed to be sweet without being excessively so. I was disappointed that I was unable to order my drink more precisely to my taste preferences. While the menu posted on the wall indicates you can specify "more or less ice" and "more or less sweet," I wasn't able to get my drink without ice or with very little or no sugar. I was told that each drink has a set amount of ice, and sugar, and unlike other boba places, there is no posted "scale" for ordering "30% sweet," etc. I'm an oddball in terms of most boba customers in that I'm very sensitive to sugar, and will ordinarily order "0% sweet" from other boba venues in order to meet my dietary needs. So I was disappointed that you just can't do that at Nine Tailed Fox, but that might not be a problem for you. While I liked my drink, the Thai flavor wasn't as strong as I'd ideally like it, and the boba tasted a little grainy to me. Overall though, I enjoyed my experience enough to come back and try one of their specialty drinks in the future.

Yelp
I came during the soft opening to try a few drinks and the egg puffs/bubble waffles. Drinks are 15% off until March 16th. The cashier was the only employee. He was friendly and quickly got my 2 drinks and egg puffs out within 5 minutes. I normally go for milk teas but the blue bantha milk caught my eye (Star Wars fan). They have speciality drinks with pop culture references (Butterbeer, Lilo and Stitch). The majority of the drinks are fruit-oriented. I ordered the Classic Milk tea and Blue Bantha Milk, both less sweet and added boba (cost an additional 85 cents). As another reviewer said, I would have liked more options for sweetness (I typically go for 30%) but looking at their menu offerings, I can see why sweetness levels aren't as adjustable as other places. The best part of both drinks was the boba. It was chewy, sweet and a tad firm, which I didn't mind. Blue Bantha drink had mango puree and I mixed that pretty well before taking a sip. It tasted pretty good altogether but if you get a sip without the puree or boba (ex: drink towards the middle or top of the cup), it mainly tastes like milk. It was decent but I would not order it again since I prefer milk teas. The amount of brown sugar syrup in the milk tea frightened me a bit because I assumed it would be overly sweet but that wasn't the case. However, the brown sugar had a bit of a medicinal taste to it and the milk tea itself didn't have much flavor. It seemed like the brown sugar was supposed to mask the lack of tea flavor. Upon first glance, the egg puffs looked a little disappointing: piping hot but rather flat with burned flecks here and there. However, it tasted better than it looked! I would suggest cooling down the egg puffs before giving them to the customer to allow them to crisp up. Most places often fan the puffs a bit first. By putting them straight into a paper container, the heat is trapped and the puffs quickly get soggy. It was so hot that I worried about burning my hand. A paper bag might be a better vessel. Overall, I applaud the owners for converting the store from a Sharetea and trying to establish their own brand. While the drinks might not have been suited for my tastes, I appreciate how they're trying to branch out and offer unique items.

Yelp
I love this reboot of one of my favorite Boba shops! The drinks are unique and delicious, and the decor is lovely. You will not find these drinks anywhere else. I especially love the wide variety of non-caffeinated options. Congrats to the team on your reinvention.

Yelp
Some of the best boba drinks we've ever had! I had black milk tea boba and my husband had a Thai tea boba and they were delicious. Would highly recommend stopping here!

Yelp
Boba is good, waited for a while to come here, at first pretty excited by the prices, got the popcorn shrimp, really good, but small. Staff made up by doubling the amount they gave us. 10/10 would come again. Really cool indoor appearance.
