Sharjah Art Museum

We went there two days ago (2/21/26), but the museum is closed (perhaps due to Ramadan?) — even though we checked Google map and official website ahead of time. Must check whether it’s open before you go.. Though we spent ~200AED of taxi fare from Dubai Frame, we got the chance to see the beautiful city (or Emirate) of Sharjah as a consolation.

I recently visited the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival, and it was truly outstanding! The exhibition is beautifully curated, deeply inspiring, and rich in cultural meaning. Every installation feels unique, thoughtful, and exceptionally well presented.✨🖼️ A must-visit for anyone who appreciates art, culture, and beauty. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed seeing the wide variety of art and the amazing gallery. Great free exhibit and great spot to rest with an amazing a/c for a hot summer. Not a ton of other visitors and I had the whole museum to myself.

The place will make you fall in love for calligraphy and painting. Spectacular artwork by various art maestro. Specially the one with light effects is totally mesmerising. Visit this place close to fort in 1 hour you can cover this place

Amazing collection of artworks from all Arab nations! Spans all styles from realism to pure abstraction. I especially enjoyed the works by Palestinian, Syrian and Sudanese artists, as well as a handful of masterfully executed works by late 19th-century European artists on oriental subjects. Best of all, the entry was free of charge! If you at all enjoy art, this is the #1 museum to visit in the Sharjah/Dubai area.
