Whats peaceful place this is. One can imagine the life of old sharjah rulers back in those day which is well preserved by the authorities. Must visit place. Add it to your bucket list of weekend. Better take ticket of 20 AED which is combo ticket and covers almost all the attractions present in heart of sharjah

This small fort is located in the heart of Sharjah which also has some more attractions at walking distance. You can visit various galleries located on 2 floors. Photos are permitted but video isn't allowed. It is 19th century fort which was once the residence of Al Qasimi family. It has been home to Sharjah’s ruling family for over 200 years.

I liked the visit, it turned out to be quite charming and very easy to access (though parking is a bit rubbish). It has plenty of info and a nice selection of artefacts. It is also good with kids as isn't too overwhelming.

Great place to explore about the city's history. Good information available at the reception. Staff were courteous. Washroom is available. Really liked the complimentary date tea and dates kept at the exit. Suggestion to tourists: you can visit this along with Heart of Sharjah. July-August might not be a good time because of heat. But is still worth it. If going in Jul-Aug visit around 3.30-4
